2020: Walkthrough by: Louis Koot

For this walkthrough I play the Director's Cut version of the game.
This Director's Cut version has 2 different Endings but otherwise it is the same as the first version
A: Underworld
Giant Talos has brought Argonus to the vestibule of the Underworld,
Here Hades rules the dead and Charon is his ferryman who sails the dead with his boat across the river Styx to the netherworld, provided you pay him
Run along the long stone path to the 4-way intersection.
Straight on goes to Charon and the River Styx. Turn right it goes to a dead end. Turn left it goes to the Temple
At the crossroads, turn left and continue to the doors of the temple
The huge doors are closed but luckily there is a Lever in front of the doors, so right click the Lever and the temple doors swing open
Go inside. The god of this temple has tumbled from its pedestal and its head is separated from its torso. He probably fell out of favor with Zeus or something. For the fallen deity there is also a Teleport tile in the floor here, so zoom in on it and then insert your Obsidian Stone and ....
Loading and then you are back in the Gorgons Home. Turn around and run up the stairs to return to the Labyrinth
B: Labyrinth last time
Argonus has yet to use that shield of the skinny skeleton chief and he can do that in the Central Chamber of the labyrinth. But to do this, you must first turn the labyrinth again
Right-click the hand circle F once to rotate ring 1 once
You have now made a path from the Gorgon Hall to the Central Chamber
Enter corridor A and turn right and then enter corridor B, turn right, enter corridor C, turn right, enter corridor D, turn right and then left into the central room
Walk to the center and place the Shield of the Skeleton Chief on the circle on the floor and ....
Light then flows into place. Turn right .... A chain hangs from the pillar. Walk towards the pillar, then turn around and look up.
High above you hangs a cage on the chain. In the cage is the petrified Leodocus, the last of your mates from the Argo
Turn back to the chain pillar and now walk towards it and get the Hand on the chain. You can try if Argonus can loosen the chain with his hands, but he can't.
So drag your sword from the inventory to the Hand and click the sword on the hand and ....
Argonus breaks the chain with the sword and this lowers the cage
Walk to the cage and free the soul of Leodocus from his petrified body
this was the last soul of the Argonauts of the Argo, except Argonus.
Open the map and click on the Minotaur circle to hear Argon read from his diary
Follow the reverse route through the labyrinth back to the Gorgon Entrance Hall and dive through the doors back to the Gorgon Hall
Walk to the floor plan, walk up and down to the Underworld Island, left on the map and above Apollo's arbor
Put your Obsidian Stone in the teleport hole and .....
C: Underworld: Charon and the Styx River
After the loading you will be back in the temple of the fallen Deity. Exit the temple and follow the stone path right through to the crossroad.
At the crossroad, turn left and follow the path and ......
Argonus has another vision here. Stheno tries to force Charon to sail over the Styx, but Charon refuses
Walk further down stairs and through the huge doors to Charon
Left click Charon's boat. You have to pay Charon, after all, a simple ferryman also has to earn his living.
So give Charon 1 of your 2 coins and .......
Sit down because it will now continue automatically to the END ...... Look, listen
The liberated souls of Argonus mates appear and ....... they think that Argonus has come to "free" them from this realm of the dead
Argon raises his fiery hand at Charon, to make it clear to him that he and not Charon has the power over life and death but .....
But Charon isn't impressed and he sails away, with Argonus ...... It now becomes clear to Argonus that he has been fooled by Athena and that he will have to stay in the realm of the dead, together with his mates, for all eternity. But then Argonus realizes Athena that did not lie ... she has kept her word ..... Argonus is reunited with his mates and she gave him a boat ..... it just isn't the boat Argonus had been hoping for all the time .. .
The Credits will then roll across your screen ......
Don't close the Game because after the Credits there will be an Epilogue
Argonus stand at the bottom of a stone staircase tunnel. Climb up and ....... We meet our old friend Thanatos again
Walk on to Thanatos and he will speak to you. Listen.....
Thanatos then disappears. Keep walking forward through the desolate landscape and .....
After a screen or 3 you reach Stheno, standing in front of the closed gate of Tartarus
In Greek mythology, Tartarus is the equivalent of Hell, so the soul of Medusa is trapped here and Stheno wants to free her sister
Left click on Stheno to listen to Calliope. Right click on Stheno and ...... sit down because it will continue by itself now .....
Stheno becomes aware of the presence of Argonus and she wants to deal with him. But then sister Euryale appears
Stheno orders Euryale to kill Argonus, but things turn out differently.
Euryale is fed up with the consuming hatred of Stheno and she embraces her sister and ....
... a white light appears ..... and then Stheno and Euryale are petrified
You get the Hand on the 2 petrified snake girls. Left click first to hear Calliope's comment
Then right-click to send Stheno to Tartarus with your fiery right hand and ....
After Stheno has disappears through the gate, Argonus frees the soul from Euryale and .......
Before Euryale's soul disappears, she asks what should be done with Argonus now ......
Euryale offers Argonus two choices in the form of 2 portals.
Through the left portal, Argonus can enter the Elysium to be united there with all his brothers and with his father and mother. Through the right portal, Argonus can step back into the world of the Living alive and start experiencing further adventures with a new Argo. Euryale disappears and you can now choose to walk through the left portal or the right portal. If you want to experience both endings, you should first make a Save Game
Then step through the Left Portal into the swaying cornfields of the Elysium and ......
For the last time, listen to Calliope who says goodbye to you
After this there will be a loading and you can do the 2nd end. If this does not happen, go to LOAD GAME on the main screen and load the last Save.
Then step through the right portal and ........
Listen for the last time to Calliope ...... Argonus journey continues and he will experience many new adventures with his buddies on the new Argo
But for us, and Calliope, this journey has now come to
THE END
Before you close the game you can see in Achievements how many achievements you have scored. I scored 13 out of 20 achievement
Well .... here is still a task for you to do.... Play the game again and then find out for yourself where and how you can score the other 7 achievements
It seems to me no punishment at all to play this beautiful game again
