2019: Walkthrough by: Louis Koot

Chapter 4: Quaramonte 2: The Tree house:

George arrives at a bridge and a river and he stops at a large wooden wheel. On the other side of the bridge you see a huge tree where a tree house has been built in. The wooden wheel is the "Washing Machine". On the hub of the wheel, in the middle of the wheel, a vine is wrapped. That vine serves as a drive belt for the wheel. Take the Vine from the "Washing Machine"

It seems that the organ music comes from the tree house. Now cross over the bridge, and stop when you are just over the bridge.

 Examine the big Waterwheel, the Pump and the heap of Leaves, that lies to the left of the water wheel on the ground under the tree. 

That heap of leaves is so wet.....Left click on the Tree house and....... 

George now walks to the left and tries to get the attention of the one who is playing on the organ in the tree house. Unfortunately this does not work.

So there must be found another way to attract attention. Walk back to the heap of wet leaves. Open your inventory and take out the newspaper clippings about the solar eclipse and click this newspaper on the heap of leaves. Then take the little statue from your inventory and click on the Water Wheel and ....... 

George goes "grinding" the statue on the water wheel and this causes sparks and these sparks jump to the pile of leaves. The newspaper catches fire and so does the wet leaves and the smoke goes into the tree house via the pump. The owner does not like this and he comes out. The man from  the tree house is a priest and he tells that there is a sick woman in the tree house. George extinguishes the fire and the priest comes down via the ladder. There is a conversation between George and the priest. Nico is sick in the tree house.

The priest calls himself Father Hubert. Talk extensively with Father Hubert, about himself and about Nico.

Father Hubert says that Nico is bitten by a poisonous snake and that he needs a antidote to save Nico. Hubert s says that the local natives have a root whose juice is the antidote. George has to talk about this with the Shaman of the village. The priest is not, however, eager to accompany George to the village. Ask and you will discover that the priest has violated his ecclesiastical vow by making love with a native girl. The priest eventually wants to show George the way to the village, but only if George knows how to smooth his collar. George sees that there is no other option than to stroke Hubert's collar and Hubert gives George his white priest collar. 

In your inventory you now have the Collar from Hubert. On the left are two large heavy stones on a beam construction and that appears to be a Press. Take the Vine from your inventory and click with it on those Press Stones. George ties the vine round the 2 round stones and the vine is now the drive belt for the press. Take the white Collar from your inventory and also click it on the "Press" and ..... George puts the collar between the two stones. 

There is a Wooden Cross in front of the tree. Pick up the Cross. The thing is heavy so it does not end up in your inventory. Click your "Cursor with Cross" on the "Press".

George put the cross in the holes of the front stone and .........

....... the stones start turning and indeed works like a press and the board is smoothed out and falls to the ground. 

Take the now pressed Collar from the ground.

Walk back to Hubert and give him back his collar.

There is another talk. Use all your call options you get, so Hubert and then the Carrot option again. 

When the conversation is over, Hubert and George walk to the entrance of the village. It is already night and Hubert returns to his tree house.

Village:

Two natives Indians stand guard in front of the gate, and they are really two funny guys . 

Your talk options appear. Use the Nico option, the Hubert option and then the Shaman option. 

George needs to give a gift for the Shaman to the guard. The contents of your inventory will now appear. 

Click on the item that you think is a suitable gift for the Shaman and then listen to the sarcastic commentary of the Indian. In the end it appears that the box Dog biscuits is the only item that the Indian accepts. So click on the Box of Dog Biscuits and .... The guard Indian will take the dog biscuits to the Shaman and then returns and tells that the Shaman liked the cookies, especially the black ones. The Shaman has eaten the whole box and he wants more cookies. 

Open the inventory and then put 1 of your items in the dog biscuit box. You now have to click one of your other items in the box and then return the box to the guard. You can try each item and then return the box to the Indian. The Indian then goes back to the Shaman with the box and then comes back to report that the Shaman is content or not. If you have put the wrong item in the box, try another item. Or you immediately put the correct item in the box and that is the Coyote Stone. So click in inventory on the Coyote Stone and then click with the Coyote Stone on the dog biscuit box...... 

George puts the stone in the box. Return the box to the Indian.

The Indian is going to bring the box back to the Shaman. The guard returns and says that the Shaman now wants to receive George.

 Now walk to the left and you will arrive in the middle of the village. The Shaman is sitting by the fire.

Talk to Shaman and use all your  options and exhaust them completely and also the new options that appear during the conversation.

The Shaman explains everything about the Mayan Stones, Tezcatlipoca and he does this via a video. 

Take a good look at this video and listen carefully to the explanation of the Shaman.

Shaman tells about the evil god and about the three sacred stones. One stone you already have, the two others you still have to find. After the movie you will see talk options again. Use all your options again and you learn that the Jaguar Stone must be in England and the Eagle Stone somewhere on a Caribbean Island. George  get the carrot and because it is late George decides to stay here in the village.

Tree house.

It is the next morning and we are back at the tree house. You now have the Root in your inventory. The juice of the root is the Antidote  so you have to squeeze out the root. Take the "Cone" from your inventory. That is the "roof of the chimney pipe" that you have taken from the guard hut in Marseille.  Click with the "Cone" on the "Press"

George places the "cone" under the two stones on the floor to serve as a collection tray. Take the Root from your inventory and click again on the Press "

George put the root between the stones. Pick up the big wooden cross and...

..... click the Cross  again on the "Press" and ......

George brings the "press" in motion again with the cross and the root is squeezed out and the carrot juice leaks into the "cone. 

Pick up the  Cone and then.......

....... George holds the Cone in his hands......Click on the Tree House and........

George climbs into the tree house via the ladder. George enters the tree house. Nico lies sick in bed and George pours the carrot juice in Nico and Nico gets better.

Nico and George are now going to look separately for both Maya Stones. Nico goes to London to look for the Jaguar stone and George goes hunting for the Eagle Stone.
