Cat has descended from heaven on a cloud and ended up in a forest. We start here at the Altar, a pond and a tree with red leaves. There is a bronze bowl on the altar and in front of the altar are 2 vases on the ground, to the left and right of the bowl. Cat has to look for the feather of the Phoenix bird. To the left of the red tree is a red feather in the grass ....... Do not take that red feather, in fact.....don't take any of the feathers lying around here. You only want the Phoenix Feather, so don't take any of the other feathers. View the altar, the 2 vases, the bowl and the pond. Then continue to the left, to the next 2 trees
A feather lies on a branch of the brown tree with green leaves, but don't grab that feather. To the right of the brown tree is a bunch of white lily of the valley flowers. Grab a Lily of the Valley twice. You then have 2 bunches of these white flowers in your inventory. In front of the brown tree there are some stones on the ground, those stones are a hiding hole
Click on those stones (hiding hole)with your hand and .... some items will come out of the storage place.
Take those 3 items that are now in front of Cat on the path. They are a Steel, an incense stick and a flint
Walk to the left and Cat then comes at the harp player, who is playing her harp continuously while she is chained to the tree behind her. At the front tree is an incense burner. Go into Ghost Vision and ....... Behind the harp player is a demon. Go talk to the harp player. The harp player tells that the Demon has captured her and that if she stops playing the harp the demon will devour her. There is a box in front of the harp player on the floor.
Walk on to the demon, behind the harp player .... The demon wears a key around his neck but Cat can't take that key now
Further left is a lamp. and past that lamp you get the white arrow to go further to the left.
Look at the lamp .... Cat tells that there is oil in the lamp and that he can light the lamp. In inventory, combine the flint with the steel to have a cap
Then light the lamp with the Cap. Then take the incense stick from inventory and use it on the burning lamp to light the stick
Now go all the way back to the beginning, to the altar and the pond. Then fill your Gourd with water from the pond
Place your 2 bunches of Lily of the Valley flowers in the 2 vases at the Altar. Do not pour the water from the water pitcher into the bowl yet, save this for later
Go back to the harp player. The harp player is chained to the tree behind her by a chain. The necklace is fastened around her neck with a collar with a lock. An incense burner stands by the tree, which stands in front of the harp player. Take the lit incense stick from your inventory and place the stick in the incense burner and ......
........ the incense burner then spreads incense smoke and because of this the hanging demon, behind the harp player, falls asleep.
Walk to the demon and now grab the key hanging around his neck
Walk back to the harp player and now click on the box that is in front of her on the floor to open the box. The box opens. There is a mirror in the lid of the box, but there is nothing else in the box. Take the just stolen key from your inventory and click with the key on the mirror in the box and .......
...... the spirit key has then become a real key.
Take this Key from your inventory and then use it on the lock of the chain that secures the harp player to the tree and...
.......the harp player is then freed from her chains.
Continue the conversation and out of gratitude the harp player gives Cat a mask that allows him to take on a different shape
From now on you also have the Transformation Mask at the top right and when you click on it, a small cat changes into a large Human Cat that stands upright. Try this out right now. So click on that mask and see what happens to Cat. Click on that mask again to make Cat small again.
.....meanwhile the harp player has disappeared. If you were still in Ghost Vision, turn it off now.
Walk to the left again and then click the white arrow to go further to the left and ......
......Cat ends up at the bridge......
A girl is standing on the bridge looking a little sad. Talk to the girl.
The girl tells that she dropped her fan in the river and asks if Kat can retrieve the fan for her from the river.
If you try to walk onto the bridge, Kat won't do it because of the girl standing on the bridge. But is it really a girl?
Enter Ghost Vision and see ....... the girl turns out to be a Demon-Eater and she wants Kat to drown herself in the river to eat Kat
So don't dive into the river, but take the dead rat from your inventory and ......
........throw the dead rat into the water and.....
..... the demon dives after the dead rat and is then away on the bridge, so now quickly run across the bridge to the other side
Stay in Ghost Vision. At the bridge there is a lamp but when you look at that lamp Cat tells that there is no oil in it. Further on there is a umbrella in the bare tree. Walk on to that "parasol tree" and ...... At the tree you will see the Mushroom Ghost. Go talk to this wandering mushroom ghost. The mushroom ghost tells that he is on a journey, looking for the place where he belongs.. Cat offers to take the mushroom ghost with him
When the conversation has ended, exit Ghost Vision and see ..... the mushroom ghost has turned into a small mushroom. Take the mushroom
In your inventory you then have the "Mushroom-Traveller". In the bare tree, a yellow umbrella sticks out on a branch. There is a feather on the green bush. Don't take that feather. Try to grab the umbrella from the tree, but that doesn't work because the thing is hanging too high and Cat doesn't dare to climb up through the branches. So now click on the mask to transform Kat into the upright cat and then take the umbrella from the tree
Click the mask again to make Kat smaller again. To the left is the white arrow to continue to the left. Click the white arrow and ..... Cat ends up in the Bamboo forest
It's raining in this forest and it's quite dark because the sun isn't shining. There is a lamp and further on the Flute player is playing his flute, sitting on a rock.
Look at the lamp......Cat says someone lives in this lamp
Walk to the Flute player and talk to him. The flute player says he plays his flute here every morning to greet the sun.
But he overslept once and since then the sun has disappeared and it rains constantly here so no sound comes out of his flute now
Walk to the left, but now also enter Ghost Vision and ..... There is an open space between the rocks and there is the 2nd lamp and the .... Mushroom Princess ...... Go talk to the Princess. The Princess tells that she is very lonely because she is the only one of her family still alive and she is very lonely quite sad. Cat thinks that this sad mushroom princess is the reason that it keeps raining here, so he can't light the lamp. Cat thinks the Mushroom Traveler might cheer up the princess
So take that Mushroom-Traveller from your inventory and click with it on the princess and ......
The princess is no longer lonely
Between the princess and the flute player stands a yellow bamboo stem between all the green stems in the forest. Grab that yellow Bamboo stem
Open the inventory and then combine the yellow bamboo stem with the bamboo umbrella to attach the stem to the umbrella
Walk back to the flute player and give him the now complete bamboo umbrella and ......
.......the rain stops and the flute player can play his flute again. and ..... from lamp 1 the resident now also appears ... it is a Spider ghost
Go talk to that spider ghost that crawled out of lamp 1. It is an old spider and it has been living in this lamp for years. But now the spider fears his days are numbered because Cat wants to light his lamp, which will burn the spider's web. Cat promises not to light this lamp and out of gratitude the spider tells that there is a feather in the lamp.
When the conversation with the spider has ended, click with your eye cursor on the lamp and Cat then takes the feather from the lamp, but he does not think it is the phoenix feather.
Look at the feather in your inventory...The feather is so dirty that its color cannot be seen.
You can stay in Ghost vision or juo don't. Now walk back to the left and keep doing that until Cat has reached the rock pond. You will also see Lamp 2 again. Water flows through a gutter between the rocks to a "seesaw gutter" and then into the pond. View the water in the pond ..... the water in the pond is very pure. Take the dirty Feather from the inventory and dip the feather in the clean water of the pond. The feather is then soaked.
Now go all the way back to the bridge, go back over the bridge and then continue to the right and ........
.....continue back to the forest where you freed the cat girl. Here you have already lit the lamp.
Take the wet feather from the inventory and click it on the lit lamp and .....
The feather catches fire but does not burn, the feather turns into the Phoenix Feather. Take back the Phoenix feather
Now go back to the stone altar. You have already filled the 2 vases with the white flowers and you have already filled the water gourd with water from the pond.
Take the filled water gourd from the inventory and then pour the water from the gourd into the bowl that is on the altar and ......
........after a few seconds Kat goes back up on a cloud to the Wise Man in heaven
Give the Phoenix Feather to the Wise Man and .....
..... The Wise Man tells Cat to go to the Garden of Souls to look for the body parts of the Soul Eater.
Cat has to put those parts together and then throw them in the Well
When the conversation is over, the Wise Man sends our Cat to the Soul Garden
Read the text in the screen and then click it away, or just wait until it goes away on its own
Don't cross the red bridge yet. Between the lamp and the round boulder lies a branch in the grass. Take that Branch.
A Tooth sticks in the back tree, but that tooth is hanging too high.
So click on the Mask to make Cat big again and then take that Tooth (fang) from the tree
Make Cat little again and then walk over the red bridge to the other side of the river and then walk a little further to the left.
To the left of the round rock is the 2nd branch in the grass. Take the 2nd Branch.
Enter Ghost Vision and continue to the left until you reach the stone coffin. Further to the left is the stone well.
At the tree that is right next to the coffin, Branch 3 is in the grass and there is a hole in the trunk of that tree. Take Branch 3.
Click with your hand cursor in the hole of the tree and ......
.......Cat takes a Spirit Seal from the tree cave. View this Seal in Inventory...it has as snake image
Dry leaves lie on the ground in front of the stone coffin. The lock of the coffin is covered with ice and thus frozen solid. On the branches of the hollow tree hang "wishing notes" that you can click on with your eye cursor. When you do that, Cat expresses wishes. You can see a HAND sticking out on 1 of those branches but Cat can't reach it
You now have 3 branches in your inventory. Kat has to light a fire to thaw the coffin's lock. Combine the 3 branches in the inventory
Then place the branches on the dry leaves and ......
..... Then light the branches with your Carp lighter and .....
......wait until the fire has thawed the lock of the coffin and.......
When the fire is out, the lock is thawed. Take the dark snake seal from the inventory and click it on the lock of the coffin and ....
.....the chest pops open and various items come out and end up on the path..
From the coffin came jewels, a scroll and the Heart of the Demon. First read what is written on that scroll and then take the Heart
When you have taken the Heart you also have taken the Ocarina, witch is an oancient musical instrument.
Click on the Mask to make Cat bigger again. Then take that HAND from the branch hanging above the coffin.
In the inventory, combine the Tooth (fang) with the Heart, then combine the Heart with the Demon Hand
Then take the Heart / Tooth / Hand combo from the inventory and throw the whole into the bottomless well and .....
....the beautiful Soul Garden turns into a Garden of the Dead Soul
