Chapter 11: Core Memory Pinwheel Village

You are back in your Case to end the game now. There is still 1 Core Memory to be investigated ..... the Pinwheel Village Core Memory. So turn on the music box at the Pinwheel Village door and walk against the door ...... When the door changes to the wooden door, you will get a warning from Phyllis that if you go through the door there is no turning back .. .....

Well ..... there is still your safe, which is below. If you have seen the code on the white wall in the school of Pinwheel Village then you could open the safe now if you had found all the red number rings for it ..... however, we still miss 1 such red number ring and we are going to pick it up now ...... so don't go through the Pinwheel Village door yet.

 The last red number ring for your Safe:

  On the big screen, select Pinwheel Harbour and then travel back to it.  

You probably end up on the quay. Go to the boat house. You have found the 7th red ribbon of Pinwheel Harbour at the top of the boathouse, but the boathouse also has a lower floor with the entrance at the rear. So go to the beach behind the boathouse.

Behind the boathouse is a rowing boat in the sand and in front of the rowing boat a couple of the ribbed metal partitions stick in the sand. Stand to the left of the rowing boat and then make sure you can look into the boathouse .... the entrance is destroyed but with your artefact lamp you can restore that ...... If you had stored the lamp then you press your F-key to make the lamp reappear ... Aim your white cursor on the plate hanging in the boathouse and then press your right mouse button

  keep your right mouse button pressed to restore the entrance and ..... you will of course first get into the Living Room again. 

In the Living Room there is 1 answering machine to listen to, so walk over to it and listen to Jean and Jim  

  .... you will naturally get back to the boathouse .... Walk inside and look to the right and see ..... you see the last of those desks ... Walk towards it.  

  he last red number ring for your Case safe is on the desk, but first type the letter in the typewriter and then read the last letter again.  

  Then grab the number ring and go back to your case via your T-tkey. Back in your Case you go down ..... place the number ring on the safe and then open the thing with the code 250314 .... the safe contains all answering machines from the Living Room and is the last, so the 7th , Knocker ....

 

 I couldn't get anything out of the safe ..... I also couldn't get this Knocker but if you click on the Knocker you can now hear the whole story of the 2 brothers and the Knocker.  I recommend that you first listen to the whole story and only go back up when the story ends ..... I didn't do this the 1st time and got up while the story of the Knocker boys still went on and.....I could not get the Pinwheel Village door open ..... The 2nd time I did have the patience to listen to the whole Knocker story and then I could go through the Pinwheel Village door.

When you are ready here then you are really ready ..... I think you have now done everything that could be done in the game ...... all 20 Film Projectors have been solved, all letters and journals have been found. .... you have found all 7 Knocker figures and you have opened all safes .... So go back up now and then go through the Pinwheel Village door and step into the white nothing when the door is swung open. ...

  Core Memory Pinwheel Village

So you end up in the dream version of your own house again. You have the camera in your hand again ..... Work your way through the house and take 2 photos along the way. You take the first photo in the room on the top floor ... it is the room that contains a chest ...... when you take the photo, the chest fills itself with toys.

 

Then go down the stairs and take a picture of the letter that is on the cupboard in the hall .....

...... as soon as you take the photo you will be briefly teleported to an attic but naturally you will return again .....

 

There are no more photos in the house because in those other rooms you have already taken the photos during the game.

Find the open back door and step outside and walk to the bare tree ....

 

  A red ribbon hangs in the tree ..... take a picture of the red ribbon and ..... the place changes briefly while a box appears next to the tree.  

  You are then back in the garden. Turn around and enter the dream house again and up the stairs and out through the white door and ......

..... to everyone's surprise, not least Phyllis, you end up back in the Case ...... Listen to Phyllis

 

  Phyllis explains a few things and then a pillar comes up from the floor. Place your Lantern on a pillar and ...........

...... Your lantern / artefact will float and then drill into the big screen and ....  

  .... the artefact burns the screen away and through the screen you can now go outside .... So step through the screen and ......

  ...... you have arrived in:

  Chapter 12: Lighthouse Island:

  Well ..... climb the long stone steps up and then go through the tunnel and .....  

  . climb the next stone steps and .......

 

 

..... you end up at the foot of the lighthouse at the house of the lighthouse keeper ......  

  Go inside and .....so here is the Living Room  

  walk into the Living Room .... there is 1 answering machine but it disappears automatically .... 

you can do nothing for a moment .... wait until a large hole has been created in the back wall and ........

... then go out through the hole. Climb the next stairs and you'll end up at the actual lighthouse ......  

Note that there is such a white sign above the doors of the lighthouse that you can use to repair. Open the doors and step inside and listen to Phyllis who says that Jean is waiting for you at the top of the lighthouse. So start climbing the long spiral stairs and ......

 

  ...... the whole damned lighthouse starts to collapse .... keep climbing and ..... you will fall out of the lighthouse and you will end up in the sea .....  

  ..... a loading follows and then you see a dark screen with just a television but then the light comes on and it appears that you have returned to your own home  

  Left click to get up from the comfortable red chair you are sitting in and now go through all the rooms of your house. You will find the Dream Items in almost all rooms .... Click on all Dream Items to make them disappear. First the items take on a fixed form and you hear Jean then ... then the items disappear. You start with this in the hall ...

 

  ... you work your way through all the rooms ..... 

via the ground floor to the floor and eventually you end up in the attic where you will find the very last Red Ribbon in front of the attic window .....  

  ..... In the attic you walk to the Red Ribbon and click on it to make it disappear and ....... 

The attic disappears ..... step through the "window" and .... 

 

  well .... you are back where you started .... 

Climb all the stone steps again, go through the tunnel and through the Living Room, which is now completely bare and empty.  

Go through the hole in the wall again and on to the lighthouse  

  The lighthouse has really collapsed but under the roof is the Artefact / Lantern. 

Grab the Artefact and then aim at the white Recovery Plate and then hold down your right mouse button until the Lighthouse is fully restored in full glory .....  

  Open the lighthouse doors and step inside again and do what you are told .... so take a seat in the red chair by left clicking in it and then look up .....  

  You look up through the lighthouse ..... the lights are on and ..... 

slowly but surely you are now rising up through the lighthouse to the white spot at the very top ....

 Meanwhile, Phyllis is talking to you and you say something in return .....

 

  .. you rise higher and higher and eventually end up in the white spot and this appears to be your nicely decorated living room .....look down .....  

  Phyllis has collected all your precious things here for you and she turns on the Music Box. Listen to Phyllis and yourself and the music from the music box ...

the music slowly and gently comes to an end and this beautiful game now also .......
