The chapter starts with a longer video that shows us where and how Gabe has spent the evening and the night

Gabe wakes up in the house of von Glower. Gabe has spent the night in the house of von Glower and he think about the previous evening 

Gabe had spent the evening and the night with von Glower and..........

 .........with Greta, an expensive whore.... Greta was paid by von Glower to fuck with Gabe and .....

Gabe is a single heterosexual young man with a stiff dick so Gabe didn't had any objections to fuck with the lovely Greta. Greta disappears in the middle of the night and Gabe, exhausted of all the fucking with Greta, falls asleep. Then von Glower enters the bedroom to watch Gabe's Treasure Hunter Medallion. 

In the meantime Gabe has dressed up and left the house. Travel, with the U-Bahn, to the 

Munich: 

Marienplatz: 

Walk to the left again. Gabe is standing in front of the entrance of Harry's lawyer's office and the butcher's shop. 

Click on the butcher's wife to get into the close-up of the butcher's shop. 

Take Gabe's wallet from inventory and click on it with the white sausages in the counter and ........ Gabe buys a tasty white sausage for 6 marks. 

Do not go to lawyer Harry yet but first go over the Marienplatz, to the Dienerstrase and then to the:

 Hunting club: 

Go inside. Xavier tells Gabe that he should not come too late if he wants to join the hunting trip. Enter the club room and zoom in again on the small round table, that  stand between the 2 large chairs in front of the fireplace state. Take the magazine from the table again and ... 

Gabe takes his tape recorder back from the magazine. On the tape is the recording of the conversation between von Zell and Winkelmann of the previous evening. You have this tape in inventory. Leave the Hunting club again and walk back to the butcher's shop and then go to: 

Lawyer Harry: 

Harry gives Gabe the new letter from Grace, so before you talk to Harry you first read the letter. Grace has written her thoughts about Ludwig and Wagner and she also tells about the Smiths. Gabe finds it  a lot of bullshit ......Put the letter back and go talk to Harry now and ask him again about the "Missing Persons" ... and ....... Harry tells what his secretary has found about missing persons has . There are a number of people disappeared in the Bavarian National Forrest....Isn't  that Bavarian National Forrest the forest where Gabe goes on his hunting trip with the fellows from the Hunting Club this afternoon?. 

Take the tape with the recording of von Zell from inventory and click on it Harry and .....Gabe plays the tape and Harry translates the German conversation into English for Gabe. So listen carefully to Harry. When the tape is ready, say goodbye and make sure you get back in the Subway. Travel to the police station now, so to the

 Prinzregentenplatz:

 After the "friendly" greeting, click on Leber to talk to the grumpy commissar. 

Use all options here again, such as "Case status" and "Grossberg's Account Book" .... fully exhaust these 2 topics. 

The police have the financial accounts of Grossberg but Gabe is not allowed to view these books . So Gabe has to come up with a trick. 

Take the Zell cassette from inventory and click on it Leber and .......

Gabe plays the tape for Leber who suddenly becomes very interested, especially about the part where the name Grossberg falls .Leber gives order to bring in the Grossberg file and then he disappears to drink coffee. Grossberg's file is on Leber's desk, behind the German flag. 

Click with your sword on that German flag and ...... Gabe picks up the cash book of Grossberg and you see 1 page from the cash book. 

On the page you can read that Grossberg owes a certain Dorn a lot of money. 

That Dorn person lives in Buchenau. Click on the cashbook page and ...... Gabe tears the page from the cashbook and ..... 

Leber comes back and demands that Gabe now tells what he knows. Gabe now tells Leber what he knows about Klingmann, von Glower and von Zell and their Hunting Club. Gabe must give the Zell Tape to Leber, so he does, and then Gabe leaves the police station and you are back on the Subway Map. 

Because Gabe has looked at the page from the Grossberg cashbook a new location has become available and that is Buchenau. 

Buchenau is where Dorn lives and has his kennel. Dorn is the supplier of Grossberg. 

 So now travel to:

 Buchenau: 

The shed has 2 doors. Click on the left door ... and ..... Mr. Dorn opens and ..... 

Dorn does not want to tell us what kind of business he had going with Grossberg ...... Dorn just wants his money. Click EXIT at the bottom of the screen and travel back to

 Munich: Marienplatz.

Go back to lawyer Harry and ask him for money. Gabe asks Harry for 14,000 marks and Harry instructs his secretary to take this amount from the Ritter account at the nearest bank. This then happens and Gabe gets his 14,000 marks. Say goodbye and travel back to: 

Buchanau: 

Click again on the door of the shed and when Dorn has reappeared, take the money bag out of inventory and click on it with Dorn to hand over the 14,000 marks. 

You must to do this quickly because if you are too slow, Dorn will close the door again. When Dorn has counted his money, he invites Gabe in and we end up in the shed. 

Dorn is  an illegal trader in exotic animals such as tigers, wolves, etc. Dorn does not take it too seriously with the law and the health of the animals. Dorn is the supplier of Grossberg and therefore also supplies the wild animals for the Hunting club group to hunt them illegally. The shed is the kennel with the cages where Dorn has the animals. 

Click on Dorn and talk to the filthy bastard about all the topics and do not skip a topic

Dorn talks extensively about his business with Grossberg, so listen carefully. Finally ask if you can see the wolves that Dorn has kept here for Grossberg. Dorn then points Gabe the last two cages, on the right side, as being the cages that the wolves have been in. The conversation then automatically ends. 

Walk down a screen and you will see the two last cages, both left and right. 

Click on the last cage on the right side and ..... Gabe sits in front of the cage. You then see the fence of the cage and you see the yellow straw that lies in the cage. 

You hear the grunt of a wild animal but do not see the animal ... you see a lighter straw, at the bottom right in all that other straw

Click on that lighter straw and ..... Gabe grabs a handful of straw from the cage and smells at it and ....

...then he puts the straw back in the cage and ..... Oops .....sweet tiger ... It almost cost Gabe his hand ..... 

You see the tiger  in the cage now ..... Grab the white Sausage from inventory and click on the tiger and .........

Gabe throws the sausage into the cage to keep the tiger busy ............. after that you click again on the lighter straw and ....

 now Gabe grabs the 2 nameplates of the wolves, which were locked up in the cage, before the tiger was here. 

Look at the 2 nameplates in inventory ..... the names of the wolves are Parsival and Hilda and thery are the 2 wolves that have disappeared from the Zoo of Munich ..... 

Close the screen and exit at the bottom of the screen and Click on the shed door to leave the shed again. Outside you click the EXIT at the bottom of the screen and then you travel back to the Marienplatz and then walk on to the Hunting club. Go back in and ........ Well ... Gabe is just in time because the whole company, including Gabe, now leaves for the Hunting Lodge in the Bayerische Wald.

Bayerische Wald: In and around the Hunting Lodge: 

Gabe gets  Henneman's room. Henneman is not happy that he has to give up his room and has to share a room with Price.

 Gabe is then in the room assigned to him. Leave the room and ..... Gabe lands in the corridor and sees von Zell, who comes out  the middle room on the right. 

Von Zell gives  Gabe a contemptuous look and then walks away.  Gabe's room is in the back of the corridor on the left. 

Click Exit on the door opposite von Zell's room, so the middle door on the left. This is the room of von Aigner. Gabe knocks on and may come in: 

Aigner: 

von Aigner is bathing in the bathroom, but he finds it no problem to talk with Gabe. Gabe takes a seat on the bed. Click on von Aigner and talk to him about all the subjects you get, such as "The Club", "Grossberg" and "The Black Wolf" and exhaust every topic altogether. You get multiple follow-up questions, which you also use. 

Aigner confirms to Gabe that he is the one who has always closed the deals with Grossberg. Grossberg supplied the Hunting Club, via Dorns, with the tigers and other wild animals for hunting and of course this is all very illegal. Aigner is the owner of a large beer brewery but he has considerable debts at von Zell's bank. Aigner does not know anything about "The Black Wolf", but he does report that he often have heard wolves in the woods here, but he has never seen them. If you have discussed everything with Aigner, Gabe is kindly requested to get his as out of the room and Gabe automatically lands on the corridor again. 

Through the windows: 

The door of von Zell is locked, but Gabe still want to search the room. Enter the rear room on the right. There is no one in the room. Open the large closet. 

There are a number of things in the closet including a roll of thick rope and a long whip. Click on the shelf and ..... Gabe picks up the rolled up rope. Exit from the closet and walk down a screen and ... Gabe is standing in front of the window of this room. Click on the window ..... Gabe opens the window and looks outside. You are now looking at the forest ..... Move the cursor down until you get the "DOWN" cursor ... so the Exit arrow with the word DOWN ....... 

Click the DOWN cursor and .. You look down and see an awning that runs under the windowsill. 

Open the inventory and take out the rolled up Rope and click with the rope on the awning and ....... 

Gabe gets an idea.....Gabe closes the window again to tie one end of the rope to the hook, that hangs above the window, and then he climbs out of the window again and .......

..... after some trouble, Gabe is outside on the ledge where the rope is his support. 

You see the 3 windows of the 3 rooms and Gabe is at the right window. The middle window is von Zell's room. You get a left arrow. Click with the left arrow under the middle window and ..... Gabe gently shuffles over the ledge to the middle window. When Gabe stands in front of the middle window, you click on the window and ..... with some difficulty Gabe lands in the room of von Zell:

Open the closet and then click on the shelf and .... .Gabe finds nothing of interest. Click in the bathroom.

 On the floor of the bathroom lies a white rug. Click on the white rug .... Gabe bends to take a closer look at the rug and....

.......sees a partial footprint print under the rug. Click on the partial  print and ....... Gabe lifts the rug and you see the whole footprint. 

Click on the footprint and listen to what Gabe has to say about it.

Exit t the bottom of the screen and then left to return to the closet. Now click on the bed and ..... Gabe searches the bed but finds nothing. However, you also see the bedside table next to the bed and on the bedside table is the Agenda von von Zell. Gabe is standing back at the closet. Exit now to the right, via the exit on the wall, to the right of the bathroom entrance and ...... You end up at the bedside table. 

Grab the Agenda of the bedside table ..... Gabe browse through the agenda and shows you a page where the names of Preis, Aigner and Henneman are on and .....

you also see that there is a part of a letter sticking out from the agenda. Click on that piece of the letter to get it out of the agenda.

 It is a letter from Grossberg to von Zell .... Click on the letter to read it and ...... Well ....... Grossberg has tried to blackmail von Zell and that has cost him his life

Exit from the letter and from the bedside table. Gabe is back at the big closet. Exit now to the left. Gabe is standing in front of the window he left open. 

Click in the open window and ..... Gabe climbs back out and lands again on the ledge. Click with the right arrow under the right window and Gabe shuffles back to it.

When Gabe is in front of the right window again, click on the window to climb back inside. Leave the room. 

Gabe is back in the hallway / corridor. Click the Exit  at the bottom of the screen and ...... Gabe ends up downstairs in the hall.

Downstairs

Hennenman is hoisting beer at the stairs were there is also a big closet. There is a seat at the fireplace and the front door is in the corner There is no fire in the fireplace. Click on Hennenman to talk to him and use all conversation topics completely. Henneman tells about Klingmann and about Preis and he says he does not know anything about a "Black Wolf".  Hennenman is not a friend of Preis.

When the conversation with Hennenman has come to an end, you click on the big closet. Gabe opens the closet and you see a small oil lamp and some other stuff

Click on the oil lamp and ..... Gabe picks up the light and this disappears to the inventory. Exit from the closet  Click on, or in, the fireplace and click in the close-up up again on the fireplace and...... Gabe thinks it's a little chilly in the Lodge and he hopes that someone will light a fire in the fireplace.

Note: Gabe's remark about fire in the fireplace is important ..... it is the trigger that one of the other members of the hunting party will light a fire in the fireplace and then leave the box of matches on the mantelpiece. If you don't click twice on the fireplace now then this event will not happen and then you can't progress any further in the game

Go outside through  the front door. The Lodge also has a shed. Enter the shed. 

Zoom in on the left corner next to the barn entrance. In that corner you see a hedge trimmer, hanging on a plank. 

Take the Hedge Trimmer. Exit the barn and enter the Lodge again. Go up the stairs to the hallway and knock on Klingmann's door. Gabe enters Klingmann's room. 

Klingmann: 

Klingmann is resting in bed and does not want to talk to Gabe. 

Take the name tags of the two wolves from inventory and click on it Klingelmans and see what effect this has on Klingelmans ....... 

Klingmann now wants to talk and he tells how von Glower has brought him into the club and how von Zell has stolen the 2 wolves stolen from his Zoo. 

After the confessions of Her Doktor Klingmann you go back downstairs and see ..... there is now a nice fire burning in the fireplace. 

Zoom back in on the fireplace and look ..... the person who lit the fireplace has left a box of matches on the mantelpiece.

Grab the box of matches and..........

 after the short cut scene Exit you out of the close-up. Leave the Lodge through the front door: 

Lodge: Outside: 

Gabe is outside again, in the front yard of the Lodge. Go a screen to the right  and .... Gabe lands in the forest. 

You see a muddy spot in the grass. Zoom in on the mud spot. Gabe sees a paw print in the damp mud .... Click on the paw print .... Gabe touches the paw print with his hand and gets an uncomfortable feeling. Click on the paw print again and Gabe tells us that this print corresponds to the print he found at the Huber farm. When you click on the paw print again, Gabe says he sees traces of orange mud in it. 

Exit from the paw print and continue a screen to the right. Gabe is then deeper in the forest. Now go down 2 screens here and ..... 

Gabe reaches an end screen. At the green shrubs you can see a muddy place here again. Zoom in on the muddy spot .... another paw print. 

Click again on the paw print, which is now completely orange due to iron minerals in the ground. Exit from the paw print and now click on the bushes and ...... Gabe tries to push through the thorny bushes but that does not work. Gabe returns quickly. Grab the Hedge Trimmer from the inventory and click on the bushes and ......... Gabe cuts his way through the bushes and ..... ends up in and in the den of Werewolf von Zell. 

in the cave. 

It stinks terribly in this cave...,.To leave the cave again, use the Exit at the bottom of the screen, but you do not do that yet..

 Left you see the entrance of a crawl tunnel. Click the Exit in that low crawl tunnel and ...... Gabe crawls further and he ends up on a ledge  in the big red cave. 

There is a deep and dark hole for Gabe's feet. Click in the dark hole and .....

Gabe takes one more step and ..... almost plunges down the deep hole ..... Gabe  just manages to prevent  plunges down ...... 

According to Gabe there is something at the bottom of the hole. Combine the box of Matches with the Oil lamp in inventory and...watch the long cut scene..........

Gabe lights  the oil lamp and shines into  the hole in it and sees......... a few bodies and then ...... an arm that moves and ...... 

oops .... that arm belongs to von Zell who is eating his "diner" here......... 

Gabe's stomach can't take it and in blind panic he flees, underway he empties his own stomach ..... 

Okay. ..Okay ...... let's be honest and do not blame Gabe off being a coward ..... it was all a bit intense what he saw. With no hundred elephants you can force Gabe to go back into that cave. So head back to the Lodge via 2 screens and then 2 screens to the left. Enter the Lodge again: 

Lodge: Inside:

Walk up the stairs and click on the door of von Glower and ....Gabe will enter von Glower's room and ...........

another long cut scene .......... 

Gabe stumbles, still completely upset, into the room of von Glower 

Gabe stammers that he has discovered something and von Glower wants Gabe to go back with him to the den. That happens and von Glower goes to look into the cave. 

Glower comes back and claims von Zell is not in the den. Gabe is angry ..... very angry, while von Glower remains icy cool.......

von Glower and Gabe agree to hunt down  von Zell tonight and ....It will be night and Gabe meets von Glower in the shed of the lodge ......

von Glower has his rifle loaded and then we set off into the forest. Gabe has no gun, only his Talisman. Von Glower calls that Gabe should stay behind him and then we go on the hunt. Gabe sees that von Glower has put ear plugs in his ears and he thinks that this is odd. 

But von Glower doesn't wear ear plugs in his ears for the show.......von Glower knows that he is sensitive to the wolf's cry of von Zell and Glower wants to prevent that he to changes into his wolf shape. Because if you have not understood it yet ... von Glower is a Werewolf .... Then Gabe gets separated from von Glower and he is slightly lost and very scared on his own in the forest. You now start with...

The Hunt for von Zell: 

Gabe has taken out his Schattenjäger Talisman and it is now in his hand. 

SAVE YOUR GAME NOW .... because Gabe can die during the hunt.... 

Gabe does have his Talisman in his hand but when you need to use the Talisman you still have to select it so that the thing is in the screen.

You mustn't be too slow because then Gabe will die. 

Follow this route through the forest ... 

Go up 1 screen, then 1 screen to the left .....you are back at the Lodge ......

 At  the Lodge go 1 screen to the left and then 1 screen down ..... 

Go one screen to the left and ........... SAVE YOUR GAME HERE AGAIN .............

Now wait until the wolf appears ...... the wolf appears at the bottom of the screen .........

Be very very quick now ... Click on the Talisman and then with the Talisman on the wolf .....and ....

The wolf flees away ..... quickly  follow the wolf ..... do not wait too long because then the wolf disappears and you have to start over again ... 

On the next screen is the Wolf no longer afraid of Gabe's talisman and ....The wolf then attacks Gabe and bites a big piece out of Gabe's leg ........

The wolf then gets ready to finish Gabe off when ......von Glower suddenly turns up ........ von Glower hesitates ......von Glower now sees a good chance to get rid of the shit nasty and jealous von Zell, but he dares not  pull the trigger himself .......von Glower throws the gun at Gabe and screams that he has to shoot and ...... 

Click with the rifle cursor on the wolf and ........ watch the End Movie of this chapter 

Gabe shoots the wolf down, the wolf will die and von Glower pretend that he's feeling bad about it. 

We see Gabe's ripped leg, where von Zell has bitten him. Gabe and von Glower then set out to leave and then ...... the dead wolf changes into a dead von Zell
