2: The Upper Floors of the Academy
Chapter
7: Activate the Teleporters:
Head
Tower:
Lydia and Zack ended up in the Academy's Main Tower via the teleporter in the Hall of the Guards. We are in the Blue Room.
This is the Blue Room because the floor is blue. Lydia is on a
dark gray teleporter platform.
Click again with your gears on the teleporter. Lydia walks on the teleporter and wonders what these things are for. Zack says that the students moved through these teleporters in order to move from space to space. Each teleporter therefore teleports to a specific space. But Zack does not know how the system works either. In any case, this teleporter does not work either. Do not go up the wide steps, but now walk back to the seats through the middle below and then walk to the right via the bottom right. Lydia is then on the right side of the Tile Floor and stands in front of a large gate. Go through the gate and .....
Lydia landed on an outdoor balcony
and there is also a teleporter on this balcony. This one is light gray, so we
call it the Light Grey Teleporter.
The narrow gate is the entrance to the Teleporter Control Room. Go through the gate and .......
O no ...... A Spirit comes to Lydia and Zack ... "RUN RUN RUN" .... Zack screamed..... and Lydia and Zack run back to the "courtyard". The Spirit does not follow them. Well ..... That spirit does not seem to want Lydia and Zack to enter the Teleporter Control Room. However, Lydia will have to enter that room because she has to turn on the Teleporters. But then that spirit will first have to be lured away, or in a better mood.
Go back, via the Blue Room, to the Tile floor and then to
the left and now, at the green teleporter, go up the wide steps. Lydia is at the
top of the stairs in a little hall. You can then go further down the stairs on
the other side, but don’t do that now. On the right you see a brown box
against the wall. Walk to the box and Lydia stands before a wooden door.
Open the door with your gears and Lydia goes in and is in the Chamber of Celeste. Walk further into the room through the middle below and ......
Now the game goes on by itself for a little while. Watch and listen to Lydia and Zack. Lydia now really has more than enough of Zack's lies and she closes Zack in Celeste's room.
Zack then wants to tell
the truth about himself and at this moment Lydia gets her:
5th Vision:
First you see Celeste and her father again. Celeste tells about the portrait of her mother and dad gets angry again.
Then you see Nathaniel and a boy .... Nathaniel forces the boy to give him something out of the box. That boy is ..... ZACK ....
Zack is a direct descendant of one of the founders of the Academy. It is Zack Nightingale.
Nathaniel now comes into the possession of the Magic Orb with which he can see the thoughts of everyone.
After the vision Lydia is standing on the outside
balcony around a tower and at a Dark Red Teleporter.
Follow the path now, to the left or to the right, to the other side of the tower, to the "connecting bridge".
Then go down over the "connecting bridge" and ......
An Owl flies through your screen. Is this the same as when in the 1st reading
room?
Western Tower:
Laboratory:
Walk across the "connecting bridge" to the right and Lydia enters the Laboratory. Zack is here too and there is a conversation between Lydia and Zack.
Zack regrets all his lies and
wants to tell the truth now. You get to start with 2 questions that you can ask
Zack. Ask both questions and then all subsequent questions that you will
receive. Zack now tells who he really is and how it came about that he became a
wolf.
After this conversation, you take
a look at all the things that are on the enormous long table. In the middle of
the table is a kind of distiller cabinet containing beakers, hoses and pipes.
Click with your magnifying glass on that cupboard and Zack tells that he, in
that cupboard, has brewed the drink that turned him into a wolf. He asks Lydia
if she does not want to try to brew such a drink here, but Lydia does not want
this now.
Now look at the left wall. On the left wall you can see a gray plate. In Rune script there is a whole story written on that plate.
Click with your magnifying glass on the Gray Plate. Lydia walks towards it and you zoom in on it. Click again with your magnifying glass on the plate and .....
Lydia reads what is written on it and she has a conversation with Zack about it. It turns out that Zack has replaced a few necessary ingredients of the drink with other ingredients, and you cannot do that with an invisible drink or a transformation drink.
To the right of the
plate is a gate to the outside balcony. Go through the gate and Lydia is now
outside on the balcony and you see a Yellow Teleporter.
Lydia has to go to the Teleporter Control Room and she has to do that now through a series of Teleporters. For starters, we are now going to use this Yellow Teleporter. Click with your gear on the teleporter platform and ......... Lydia and Zack are now being teleported to another balcony with 2 Yellow Teleporters.
The front teleporter is where Lydia and Zack have arrived. So click on the rear teleporter and Lydia will go there and your screen will change.
You now see a larger balcony with 3
Teleporters, a Yellow, a Red and a Black
Click at Lydia on the yellow Teleporter platform and she and Zack land on the larger balcony with the 3 Teleporters.
Click with your gear on the Black Teleporter and ...... Lydia and
Zack end up on the floor of the:
Teleporter
Control Room. Lydia
and Zack were here before but then they were chased away by the ghost and then
you did not see 3 yellow circles in the middle of the round platform. In 4
of the niches there is a thick column that you cannot do anything with. Then zoom in on 1 of those obelisks
to see it up close.
You
automatically zoom out and you will see the number of red, yellow or blue dots
also appear in the large round platform. Make sure you put the Obelisk, which you are playing with, into the starting position again so that only 3 yellow circles are visible in the large round platform. If you do not do this, my solution will not work (Louis Koot) Here we go: STEP 1: Zoom in on Obelisk 3 and click on the ring once. In the round platform you
see: 3 times Yellow, 1 time Red and 2 times Blue.
STEP 2: Zoom in on Obelisk 2 and click on the ring once. In the round platform you
see: 2 times Yellow, 3 times Red, 2 times Blue.
STEP 3: Zoom in again on Obelisk 2 and click once again on the ring. In the round
platform you see: 1 time Yellow, 1 time Red and 2 times Blue.
STEP 4: Zoom in again on Obelisk 2 and click once again on the ring. In the round
platform you see: 2 times Yellow, 2 times Red and 3 times Blue.
STEP 5: Zoom in on Obelisk 1 and click on the ring once. In the round platform you
see: 0 times Yellow, 3 times Red and 3 times Blue.
STEP 6: Zoom in on Obelisk 4 and click on the ring once. In the round platform you see: 3 times Yellow, 3 times
Red and 3 times Blue.
You've done it. All Teleporters are now activated. Let's try it right away. |
Click with your gears on the round platform where now the yellow, red and blue circles are located, and .... Lydia and Zack are teleported up again to the balcony with the 3 teleporters.
Now use the Red Teleporter and we end up on a higher balcony. Go through the gate and ..... You will see a gate with a turning blue haze.
You will encounter these
kinds of gates more often and they are so-called Transmitter, or Whirl, Gates. These gates
turns the world where you landed on, upside-down.
Lydia and Zack are at the top of
a staircase that goes down. There is also a staircase to the right, to the gate
on the right of the Transmitter Gate. That gate is the entrance to the Art
Classroom. The down staircase runs all the way around the tower to the other
side. But you will find that out later. First go to the right by double-clicking
in the port of the Art Classroom. Lydia and Zack walk up the stairs on the right
and go through the gate and are in the:
Art Classroom:
There is a conversation between
Lydia and Zack about the 5 paintings hanging on the wall here. Zack tells
something about it but he does not know much about it either. There is a
cupboard in front of the window. That box belongs to the 5 paintings. Those 5
paintings and the box together are a puzzle that you CANNOT solve NOW. You can
take a closer look at the 5 paintings and the box with your magnifying glass. To
the left, at the gate, there are jars of paint and an easel. If you click on it
with your magnifying glass, Zack will tell you that it is his painting. Lydia
says, however, that she does not see any painting on the canvas. Lydia sees only
a blank canvas. This is also a puzzle that you CANNOT solve NOW.
In the wall, to the right of the window, you will see a large round rune stone. It is a button and you have to activate it now. So click on that round Rune Stone and Lydia walks towards it. Click with your magnifying glass on the Rune Stone. "DO NOT ... HANDS OFF ....", Zack screams and he explains why Lydia should not activate this button. Do not worry about Zack's fears and if you've finally zoomed in on the Rune Stone, click on it with your gears to activate this Rune stone anyway.
Then zoom out. However, Zack has told you that every classroom in the Academy has such a rune stone. You will have to find and activate them all. Well Walk back through the middle below and leave the classroom again through the gate. You are outside again and thus again and you walk on the side of the tower on the tower.
Walk back to the left, to the Transmitter Gate but do not go through it. Lydia
is again at the top of the staircase that goes down. Now double click the stairs
downstairs and ..... Lydia runs down and arrives at the next screen.
Click with your gears in the Transmitter Gate and Lydia and
Zack go through and stand in a hall.
Northern Tower:
Go right. We are then in a small
corridor and you see a staircase at the bottom of your screen. Double click on
the stairs and ..... well ... just follow, via a few screens, the stairs to the
top and you end up in the:
Watchtower:
There is a Red and a Yellow
Teleporter. In the middle, in front of the 2 teleporters, there is an Altar. You
can click on it with your magnifying glass. Zack tells you that it contains a
game, a puzzle, but you cannot solve this puzzle yet. To the right, at the end
of the balustrade, you see a Blue Ball floating in 2 Yellow Rings. Zoom in on
the Blue Ball and click on it with your gears.
Remember this Blue Ball and from now on search for more Blue Balls in the rooms where you come in later on.
These Blue Balls protect the puzzle nearby where they are floating. Before you can solve these puzzles you first have to activated the Floating Blue Ball.
But that will all be explained to you by the
Spirit of Grandmaster Nightingale, later on.
You have heard Lydia saying to Zack that she wants to go to Nathaniel's office now. That is what we will do.
Click with your gears on the Yellow Teleporter. Lydia will stand on the Yellow Teleporter but will not be teleported right away.
First you have to listen to Zack who explains why he is so afraid of those teleporters.
When Zack is finally
finished, you click with your gears on the Yellow Teleporter and now Lydia and
Zack are being teleported to:
