Part 2: The Upper Floors of the Academy

Chapter 9: The Oracle:

Main tower:

Lydia and Zack are still in the study where Lydia has just brought the Dragon to his den and won the Aleunder roots. Walk back to the left and then via the middle to the teleporter on the balcony. Use the Yellow teleporter and we will return to the Tile Room of the Main Tower. now go back up the wide steps. Upstairs you do not go to Celeste's room but you walk down to the corridor on the left with the arches.  

In the hallway there is a short conversation between Lydia and Zack and when that is over you click in the gate behind Lydia. We end up outside in a narrow courtyard.

 We are now in the:

Atrium:

Walk up to the next screen. You can then turn left through the dark gate or right to the light gate. Go to the right and Lydia is in the gate of the Solarium

Solarium:

Click in the port. Zack and Lydia enter the top floor of the Solarium. You've seen this before. You saw this piece of garden in the Glass Globe, behind the Sculpture Group on top of the Eastern Tower.  Zack explains again. This is a classroom and so there must also be a large round button with a Rune sign. You will find the Rune sign button to the left of the gate. Zoom in and activate the button by clicking on it with your gears. 

Zoom out again. You have now activated 3 of these Rune sign buttons. You have to find 1 more and it is in the Smithy. You can first go downstairs to take a look, click on the stairs in the corner behind Lydia to go downstairs. You then come down to the actual classroom of the Solarium and there you can find a puzzle that you cannot yet do. We will come back here as soon as it is necessary to solve that puzzle. Go back up and then through the gate, then go through the dark gate. We are then in the other part of the Atrium. A staircase goes up on the right. Click at the top of the stairs and Lydia and Zack go up and are at the top of the stairs. Walk to the right, to the next screen.

You are still in the Atrium but now a floor higher, you are  at the bottom of 2 stairs with a large deep gate between the 2 stairs. The left-hand staircase goes to a Red Teleporter who teleports to the West Tower Laboratory. The Gate between the stairs goes to the Oracle and the right stairs go to a Blue Teleporter.

Climb the right stairs on the right side and then use the Blue Teleporter to be teleported to the:

Smithy:  

Lydia and Zack land on the balcony of the Smithy. Go through the gate and listen to Zack who again explains something about this classroom.

 You have found your 4th classroom and the Rune sign button can be found on the right wall, under the 2 bookshelves. Zoom on it and then activate the button with your gears. 

Then zoom out again. You now see, high above Lydia, a large circle with niches in the wall. Click with your magnifying glass. 

Lydia asks Zack what the meaning of that circle is, but Zack does not know either.......that circle is too high for Lydia and Zack to look at it further ... but maybe a flying dragon can reach it..... 

Click in the middle below to return to the total overview screen of the smithy. I could explain the puzzles here in the smithy, but you cannot solve them now, so we save that for later. Teleport now via the Blue Teleporter, on the balcony, back to the top of the right staircase of the Atrium. Go down the stairs completely and then click in the gate between the two stairs.

 Lydia stands in the deep gate and at the bottom of your screen you see the top of a staircase. Click there and Lydia is on the long stairs. Descend the stairs completely and ...... You end up on a 

FLOATING ISLAND

The Oracle:  

You have arrived at the Oracle and Zack tries to explain what this is. The Oracle is the remnants of a Dragon. Actually, you have not yet arrived at the Oracle. We have to go there and we have to do that through a series of floating islands. You are now on the Lower Isle. On the island is a large stone, a Menhir. To the left of the Menhir you see another Floating Blue Globe. Zoom in on the Menhir Stone. I'm going to try to explain it as understandably as possible:  

First zoom in on the Floating Blue Ball and click on it with your gears. Lydia pronounces the spell again and the ball is activated.  

Now look at the Menhir Stone. There are 3 dashes on the stone and under the 3 lines you see a Dragon. The left dash is OFF but the other 2 bars are ON. So a Red dash is OFF and a WHITE Dash is ON. You can click on the Dragon. If the Dragon is RED then the Dragon is OFF. If the Dragon is WHITE then the Dragon is ON. There is such a Menhir Stone on every Floating Island. But not every Menhir has dashes. The 3 dashes on this 1st Menhir stone tells you that the Dragon on this Menhir must be OFF and the Dragons on the next 2 Menhirs must be ON.  

So you go from Island to Island and on every Island there is a Menhir Stone. Not every Menhir contains dashes but every Menhir has a Dragon that you have to turn ON or OFF. The lines on the Menhir Stones that have dashes tells you whether you should turn the Dragon on that island and on the following islands ON or OFF. If you go from Island to Island, you will also return to islands you have already been to. That does not matter as long as you keep doing exactly what the lines on the Menhir stones tell you. And if you follow my solution below you should not have a problem.

You are now on Island 1 and you have activated the Blue Ball and zoomed in on the Menhir Stone. Here we go. I number the islands rising, but you will end up on some islands twice.

  Island 1:

There are 3 lines on the Menhir. The 1st dash is for this Island 1 and the 2 other dashes are for the Menhir stones on the 2 following Islets. The 3 lines tell you that on Island 1 the Dragon must be OFF and on Island 2 and on Island 3 the Dragon on the Menhir must turn ON. Make sure that the Dragon on this island is OFF, the Dragon must be RED.

  Zoom out of the Menhir and go through the bottom right to the Floating Path and follow this path to the next island:

Island 2:

As soon as you arrive on the island, the Floating path disappears to the right side of the island. Zoom in on the Menhir.

No dashes on this Menhir stone.

The Dashes on the Menhir of Island 1 have shown you that you now have to turn ON the Dragon on this Menhir. So make the Dragon WHITE and zoom out.  

Follow the Floating Path to:

Island 3:  

Zoom in on the Menhir. No dashes. But the dashes on the Menhir of Island 1 showed that you have to turn the Dragon ON here.

So make the Dragon WHITE.  

Zoom out and follow the Floating Path to:

Island 4:  

Zoom in on the Menhir. 3 Dashes and they are on: ON, ON, OFF.

These 3 lines tells you what to do with the Dragon on the Menhirs of Island 4, 5 and 6.

So turn the Dragon on this Menhir ON, so make the Dragon WHITE.  

Zoom out and follow the floating path to:

Island 5:  

This was previously Island 2 and when you were here for the first time you had to turn ON the Dragon on the Menhir.

  From Island 4 this is now Island 5 and according to the lines on the Menhir of Island 4 the Dragon has to be put ON here.

The Dragon is already ON so you can now go straight to the next island.

Island 6:

This was previously Island 3 and then you had to turn the Dragon ON (according to the lines on the Menhir of Island 1).  

Now, however, this is from Island 4, Island 6 and according to the dashes on the Menhir of Island 4 you must now turn the Dragon OFF.

So zoom in on the Menhir and make the Dragon RED.

Continue to the next Island:  

Island 7:

You were not here yet. Zoom in on the Menhir. 4 dashes: ON, ON, OFF, OFF. So make the dragon WIT here on this Menhir.  

Zoom out and continue to the next island. On the way to Island 8 you now see the Oracle  

Island 8:

Island 8 is also Island 1. Zoom in on the Menhir. Ignore the dashes now on this Menhir because they no longer apply.

According to the dashes on the Menhir of Island 7 you must now turn the Dragon ON here. So make the dragon WHITE.  

Zoom out and continue to the next island.  

Island 9:

This was Island 2 and also Island 5, now it is island 9. Zoom in on the Menhir. 

The dragon is ON, but according to the dashes of Island 7 the dragon must now turn OFF. So make the dragon RED.  

Zoom out and continue to the next island.  

Island 10:

This was Island 3 and also Island 6, now it is island 10 According to the dashes of Island 7, the dragon must now be turned OFF, so become RED.

If all is well you have already done that the last time, when this island was 6. So the Dragon is already RED. Go on to the next island.  

  Island 11:

New island. Zoom in on the Menhir. 4 dashes: ON, OFF, ON, OFF. So put the dragon  ON here, so make the dragon WHITE.  

Zoom out and continue to the next island.  

  Island 12:

Here too you have been before, but I have now quite frankly lost count. Zoom in on the Menhir and ignore the dashes on it.

According to the dashes of Island 11, you must now turn the Dragon OFF. However, the dragon is now on, so make the dragon now RED.  

Zoom out and continue to the next island.  

Island 13:

You have already been here twice. Zoom in on the Menhir and make the dragon WHITE.

Zoom out and continue to the next, the last, island.  

Island 14:

Here too you have been twice before. According to the dashes of island 11 you have to turn the dragon OFF here.  

If all has gone  well, and you have not made any mistakes before, then the dragon is already OFF here and is therefore RED.

So you can now go through the floating path to the:

Oracle

From Island 14 you follow the floating path and you end up at the top at the Oracle.  

If you have Lydia and Zack in front of the wall where you see the bones of the dragon embedded, click on it with your magnifying glass.  

There is a conversation between Lydia and Zack and Zack wishes he becomes a Dragon.

Your screen will turn white for a while and after that Lydia has received a piece of MOS from the Oracle.  

This Moss is an ingredient for the potion for Zack that you have to brew later. Lydia wishes then that she is now reunited with Celeste but .... the Oracle didn’t fulfill her wish.

  Well .... that's all what happens here. Now follow, via bottom right, the Floating Path back to Island 1. You now have to change Zack into a Dragon to solve the high puzzle in the Smithy. Climb the high stairs back to the deep gate of the Atrium and then continue until Lydia is back between the Left and the right stairs. Now go up the Left stairs and then use the Red Teleporter. 

Lydia and Zack then arrive at the Red Teleporter on the tower, just in front of the Laboratory.

 Follow the balcony of the tower to the front and go over the connecting bridge and you are back in:

Laboratory:

Click again with your magnifying glass on the Distiller Cup in the center of the large table. 

Zack asks again whether Lydia wants to brew the potion and because Lydia now has all the necessary ingredients she wants to do now. You now have to choose which of the 2 drinks you want to brew. It is the intention that your Zack now turns into a nice sweet little dragon, so choose the option: "Brew a magic potion of the Moss of the Oracle, a Headon Flower and a Nigilis Fruit" and ...... 

Zack turns into a sweet little green DRAGON.  

Ok ... that worked out, although Zack does not sound very happy. Leave the laboratory and walk back, over the connecting bridge and balcony of the tower, to the Red Teleporter. Use the Red Teleporter and Lydia and Zack will end up on top of the Atrium's Left Staircase. Lydia says that Zack, now that he is a dragon, can reach the high puzzle in the Smithy and that is true.  

But.......Do not go to the Smithy now...…Click on the Question button on the Game interface and .... the Hint system tells you that you now must go to the Secret Library. It is not wise to ignore the Hint system and still go your own way. Then you are in very bad trouble. So we first go to the Secret Library to first solve the puzzles. 

So now first go down the stairs and then go down to the left, the short bridge. Then descend the next stairs to the lower floor of the Atrium and then go back through the gate. On the right is the Solarium, but you are not going to go there now. Walk through the bottom of the screen and then go back through the large gate.

Follow the corridor, via the middle below and then, via the steps, go up to the middle hall. Right in the corner is the room of Celeste. Go down the wide steps to the Tile floor and walk through the Tile floor room to the right and then enter the Balcony. Use the Red Teleporter on the balcony.  

Lydia and Zack are teleported up to the upper balcony with the 2 Red Teleporters. Now use the rear Red Teleporter here and we end up in the Lookout of the Northern Tower Click at the bottom left of the steps that go to the connecting bridge and then cross the connecting bridge to the balcony around the narrow tower. At the narrow tower, on the other side of the connecting bridge, you go to the left side of the tower and now Lydia and Zack are at the door of the Secret Library.
