Chapter 5: Day 5: Departure
After the talk between Tessa and CORE, click on the Rover and then Start the Tour and.......
Cut scene: Tessa and CORE leave the station in the rover to drive to the evacuation point
The evacuation point is at a lonely monolith but the other Rover is also her and......When Tessa walks to the other Rover she finaly meets Melissa Luna.
After the initial conversation use the options to continue........Melissa Lund is Tessa Carter, they are the same person Continue talking and then end the conversation
After the conversation, Melissa drives away in the Rover and Tessa runs after it and she comes to an abyss.
You control Tessa. Melissa walks with Tessa, If you move Tessa to the right then Melissa goes left and visaversa. If you move Tessa up then Melissa goes down and visaversa. You have to make sure that Tessa walks over bridge B to the other side at the same time that Melissa walks over bridge B to the other side. So Tessa must go to where Melissa is and Melissa must go to where Tessa is. You can skip this minigame. If you go wrong then you must do it again. This always ends with Melissa jumping down into the abyss, but if you got Melissa at bridge A an Tessa at bridge B at the same time then Tessa goes on and enters the Tunnel
Tunnel
After CORE has scanned the tunnel walk forwards through the tunnel and ...Electric beams from the wall connecyors are blocking Tessa's way
CORE tries to solve this problem but isn't succesfull . Click on the connector and see what happens.....
CORE sacrifies itself
Exit the tunnel through the passage.
Cut Scene at the hospital.
Library
Tessa is now in a library. It's all in her mind.
The library has 2 floors and Tessa is on the lower floor. Look around the library. Go sit in the chair to rest.
Tessa sits in the chair and a phantom appears that looks like Tessa.
Tessa stand up from the chair. Click the phantom. Tessa walks to the phantom who performe a dance. It's a happy phantom
Door 2 appears. Go through door 2 and......
Tessa ends up at her old flat and we see Anthony and Tessa with baby Fin as a young maried couple.
You can't do anything, just look and listen to learn more about Tessa in her earlier days
After this Tessa is back in the library. The phantom now sits at the globe. Look at the phantom again
Go up the stairs to the top floor. Go through door 9.
Cut scene Tessa is in an office and the date is September 28th, 2002. Look and listen to the Tessa of 2002......you can't do anything.
Apparently the 2002 Tessa works in this office and she gets a phone call from her husband Anthony. Look and listen to that phone call. It's late and Anthony isn't happy that Tessa is still at the office. Anthony's colleague has passed away and his funeral is tomorrow at 2PM. Anthony wants to know from Tessa whether she will be on time and whether she received his black tie back from Mark. However, Tessa is too busy with her work so she forgot to ask Mark about his black tie. Tessa has an important meeting at the office tomorrow and she can't cancel it, so it's doubtful whether she'll make it to Noah's funeral on time tomorrow. Tessa also has to write a condolence card and tell her boss when she wants to take up her vacation
After this Tessa is back in the library. Go downstairs. There are now 3 phantoms.
Look at the phantom next to the globe and the phantom next to the table. Upstairs door 14 shows up, Go upstairs and through door 14.
Cut Scene: September 29th, 2002, 11:00 hours, Office Meeting........you can't do anything, just look and listen.
The boss needs a new manuscript and they talk about it further.
After the talk with Mark you see a scene in the hospital and then we see a car accident . Tessa was driving and Mark Bennet dies
Forest and Church
You get control at the crashed car. Look at the crashed car and then at the number plate. The number plate is the date on which Tessa and Anthony got married. Tessa 2002 and Mark Bennet 2002 are injured in the car. Mark dies and Tessa 2002 ends up in hospital. Go over the bridge to the church and enter the church
In the church walk to the coffin and the altar and then pick up the cross from the altar.
The coffin is locked. Open the coffin with the cross.
Mark Bennet's dead body lies in the coffin. Look at the glowing door to the left. Through the door we see Tessa in her hospital bed
Leave the church. Cut scene in the hospital. Back in the library there are a lot of phantoms but they disappear.
In the chair sits the Melissa phantom. Look and listen
After the conversation click the Melissa phantom in the chair and then go through door 2 again.
Home
Anthony puts baby Fin into his crib and then goes away to take a shower.
You are now Tessa from 2002 and you have to take care of baby Finn to make him go to sleep, something which Tessa isn't used to do, being a career woman.
Take the blanket that's hanging on the crib. Click on the bookshelf and then take Finn's favorite book "Guybrush's collected adventures".
Turn on the standing lamp, at Finn's crib. Take the two cuddly toys from the basket
Place the blanket and a cuddly toy in the crib, it doesn't matter which of the two cuddle toys.
Click on the light switch next to the door to turn off the main light. Use the book on the crib to read a story to Finn and.......
Finn goes to sleep and Anthony comes back. Leave the room after the cutscene.
There are now 10 phantoms in the library. Click on the phantom with "positive" experience, that sits to the right of the globe against the bookcase.
Door 9 opens again. Go upstairs and through door 9.
Office 9
It's September 28th, 2002 and the time is 22:32 hours. It's one day before the important office meeting. Tessa goes to look at the book on the computer. Then the phone rings. Click the phone and go through the conversation with Anthony. What you answer is not important in this conversation.
Tessa needs to go back in time because she wants to do things differently, to prevent the car crash and to get to Noah's funeral on time.
Click on the clock that's hanging on the ceiling. Tessa set the time backwards to 16:00 hours
So it's now September 28th, 2002 , 16:00 hours. Tessa and Office boss Mr. Bishop and Mark are present
Talk to Mark and ask him for the necktie. Mark gives the tie. Talk to Mr. Bishop and ask him about the vacation.
Tessa needs to fill in a vacation form. If you Bishop to Postpone tomorrow's meeting, but that's a no go.
Bishop can't postpne the meeting because Tessa is to late telling him about the funeral.
There's a card on Tessa's desk. Take the card.
It's a condolence card and a pen. Tessa needs to put a picture on the card.
There are folders in the cupboard that stand against the wall. Click on those folders and then take a vacation form from that cupboard.
In inventory combine the vacation form with the pen to fill in the form. Then give the completed vacation form form to Mr. Bishop.
Bishop aproves Tessa's vacation. In inventory combine the pen with the condolence card to put a text on the card.
Use the condolence card on the printer, that stand left of Mark on his desk. Tessa puts the card into the printer.
Click on the printer to hear Tessa say that she needs a picture. Use the computer on Tessa's desk. Then click on the e-mail folder
Click the "Photo for condolence card" option. Click on the photo of Tessa, Anthony and Finn and then click the print button.
The printer prints the photo on the card. Take the condolence card with photo from the printer.
Use the phone on Tessa's desk and call Anthony to tell him that you have the condolance card, the black tie and the vacation sorted.
Leave the office through the door back in the hall to return to the library. There's one door left. Go down . All phantom images of Tessa are present. Find the phantom with "positive" experience and click her again.....It's the phantom in the middle of the circle. Door 14 opens again. . Go upstairs and through door 14.
Office 14
Save your game if you want to try to solve the meeting puzzle on your own.
I cannot give you the correct answers and responses on the questions you must answer in this Meeting puzzle
It's the day of the meeting but do not start the meeting yet because you need to prepare yourself first. Go to Tessa's desk and use the computer.
Click the "Author" folder and read about the manuscript that Tessa is secretly working on as Melissa Luna....
The titel of her book is "No Progress without Obstacles".
Also read about the two other books "Nothing is Possible" and "The Legacy".....you need this information to succesfully go through the meeting, so make notes. Then click the E-mail folder and read the E-mails from the other authors, they are: "A Penny", "Important Information", "Our last adventure cancelled", "Book cover", "Update No Progress without Obstacles", "How's it going", You can use this information from the autorh's and their books in the meeting to give the correct answers on their questions. When you're done reading turn off the computer and then Start the meeting.
The 3 authors and Bisshop discuss their books to decide which of the books shall be published. Each author wants to promote his or her favorite book
You have to decide whether you "Agree" or "Disagree" with there arguments.
Then you have to say why you agree or disagree with an argument.
Choose the correct responses and statements. Bars show how far you are in answering.
Most of the correct answers can be found in Tessa's computer under "Author". The questions and answers are random. You must make sure that in the end Tessa's book "No Progress without Obstacles" will be the one that they will publish. You have up to 1 hour for this meeting, so when the office clock gets to 12:00 hours the meeting ends and if you didn't succeed then you must start the meeting again to try it again. After 2 meetings you can skip the meeting, but you must start a 3th meeting to get the Skip option
Tessa then tells that she's the autor of this book and it's settled, Tessa's book will be published.
After the meeting,Tessa talk to Mark, who offers to drive her to the church to be on time for the funeral
But Tessa diclines and she goes by herself and ends up in the forrest at the church. The car accident does not happen so Mark does not die
Walk over the bridge and enter the church, the church bells are already ringing
At the altar are the spirits of Anthony and Tessa
The two spirits disappear and the coffin appears. Click the coffin and.....
The coffin is empty exept for the amulet that Anthony gave Tessa for the weding. Tessa takes the amulet.
Leave the church to be back in the Library. A spiral staircase opens up in the floor and the spirits of Finn and Anthony appear. Melissa phantom sits in the chair. Take the one Cuddle Toy out of inventory and give it to Finn. Take the the black tie from inventory and give it to Anthony. Take the amulet from inventory and give it to Melissa.
After the talk with Melissa all 3 phantoms disappear through the spiral staircase pit. Click the Passage and........
.....Watch the ending cut scenes.........
