Part 2: Underground
Chapter 18: Backstage and Endgame
You are now behind the library and you see that this is actually just a fake.
You can look at all the names on the rock walls, this is a Kickstarter game so these will be Backers names.
You see 2
round openings, the left one is closed with a round door but the right one
is open.
Turn to the right and walk up the stairs, you will come to a larger platform.
To the right is a table and straight
ahead you see a blackboard with drawings on it.
There are 4 drawings on the board and drawings on the table
If you look closely at the drawings, you see that
they are solutions for a number of puzzles in the game.
To the left of the table is a box
against the railing, on the right is a lever. Pull the lever
down.
The box slides open and the large device in the back of the cave comes to life, that is, in the middle of it is a now bright white / green light.
Cut scene: You now hear the voice of William Maythorn, the man who wrote all those letters.
He tells you that he has built a primitive Gateway and he has already left this world through it
You only have to open Quern, he
did not succeed.
Then
Gamana comes again and again she has a long story.
Gamana and Maythorn make each other black, who should you believe?
So there are 2 endings to this
game, later on you have to make a choice. Then it's time to save your game so
you can play both ends.
A key is hanging in the cabinet on the railing, take the key
Walk back down to the small platform
with the keyhole pole and try if the key fits
there...... but the key does not
fit into the keyhole here.
You have seen another keyhole in
the door of the other round opening / tunnel. Walk to that door and select the key, then click on the keyhole.
Pulling the lever at the railing down has also ensured that this door now has power. So the door opens now.
Walk through the tunnel and you are now standing on the long walkway that you saw earlier. Walk to the other side.
You come to a door again, click on the
white button and the door opens.
There is not much to see, straight ahead you see a device
with a glass disc at the top and a small eyepiece underneath.
Click on that eyepiece and you will see the A
construction where you started the game.
Turn to the entrance and you will
see a post with a white button on the left side. Press the button.
The wall slides open, you see
many shelves with lights.
You hear William Maythorn again, telling a long story, he says that this is a calculator.
This machine has
counted for many years and is now finished. 1 piece of the wall slides even
further down.
You can now walk over a narrow
metallic bridge to the control panel.
You see on the screen that the calculation is complete.
On the left is a lever and on the right you get a stack
of punch cards when you pull the lever. Take the pile of
punch cards.
Walk back to the room, something
changes in the room. The glass screen drops down and a device emerges from a
narrow corridor.
On
the device you see a place where you can place the pile of punch
cards, in front of it you see a holder for a torch.
You only have 1 torch left, the white torch, so put it in the holder.
Select the punch cards and then click in the open box.
You see 3 boxes, the doors will
open later. You better save your game first if you want to play both endings.
You hear William Maythorn again
and a little later you hear Gamana again. On the right side of the machine you
see a 6-angled plate, which folds open.
Maythorn wants you to put the
green crystal on it and Gamana wants the red crystal on it.
Save your game now if you want to play both endings
On the back of the device is a 6-angled plate to put the green or the red crystal. Yo must wait until it opens up.
Then select the green teleporter crystal and click on the 6-angled plate.
Box 1 opens, pull the lever down, then
the levers in box 2 and then in box 3.
After the last lever the machine vibrates, on the
screen you see a flash. The device slides back into the hole.
Gamana is furious and deeply
disappointed and then disappears.
One of the boxes along the wall is now open, there is a key in it. Take this key
Leave this room and walk across the high walkway and listen to Maythorn again, the round door at the end will open, but you have to wait for it
You're back at the back side of the library again. Enter the other tunnel and walk to the small platform with the key pole
Select the key
and click
on the keyhole.
You get another message from Maythorn and you enter the portal and that's it
You can now play ending 2:
Ending 2: Gamana's way,
Place the red crystal on the plate. Then pull the
3 handles down 1 by 1.
Gamana is in the 7th heaven
because according to her you have made the right choice.
You see a flash in the screen and
....... The A portal has been destroyed.
Now take the key from the box and walk back to the key pole in the right cave
Put the key in the keyhole
again and
the game will continue automatically.
Gamana comes to say goodbye and you step into the portal and that's it
