Rhem 2 SE Chapter 4

You are still in the Kales Room where you have just found the 2nd Fragment of the Key. During your wanderings through the tunnels and the caves you have seen a number of "Tube / Pipe Paintings". Every time you saw a piece of a circle in those "tubes". Let's take a closer look at these "Tube Paintings" now.

There is such a "Tube Painting" on the wall, right opposite the entrance of the Kales Room. Look at the "Tube Painting" again. In the "Tube" you see the top part of a Red / White Circle and a black line. Also make sure that, on the red button box, the small light is green, indicating that you have already clicked on this red button. If that is not the case, then click on this red button. Turn left and through the gate to the 1st Moon Room. The Roller shutter door to the Water Cave is therefore closed and can not be opened from this side. Turn left and view the "Tube Painting".

In the Tube you see a piece of White Circle and a black line. Make sure again that the light on the red button is also green here.

Turn all the way around to the rabbit head door and then go through the door to the ladder.

Climb down the downstairs via the ladder and follow it all the way to the other end where you climb up to the Chest corridor via the ladder.

Follow the corridor, through the Revolving door, to the Chest. At the Chest you continue to the right and then one more time forwards

You are now back in the round hall where the Wall safe is, where you have found the 1st Blue Fragment. Turn right. In the niche there is also such a Tube Painting". Only now there's something changed in this Tube, compared to the first time you were here. In the Tube you now see a Blue Circle with 2 Black Lines. Around the Blue Circle is a Red Circle. This is because you put up the little yellow handle, on the other side of this wall.

Those 2 Black Lines, in the Blue Circle, makes an angle of 135 degrees....Note this down Also take note of the position of the Red Circle.

Do not go through the Revolving door. Click the Red Button 4 times to return the ladder in the door to you. Climb up the ladder to the Round Top Hall, turn right and enter the upper hallway. Turn back to the Round Top Hall and click once on the Square Red Button to put the Ladder of the Revolving Door back into the Rear Hatch. Then climb down the ladder again and turn around. 1 time ahead and turn back to the Revolving door. Click once on the Red Button to be able to go through the Revolving door again. 2 times forward, right, 3 times forward, right and you are standing in front of the ladder where we did not go up earlier. Click twice on the ladder to climb up and then click, left or right next to the ladder hole, with the up finger to climb all the way out of the ladder hole.

Turn right. A red button is on the wall. You are here on the other side of the upper corridor and at the back wall of the niche where you have previously hoisted up the Fence from the downstairs corridor. Click on the Red Button. You hear the Fence going down again. If you turn to the right you will see that you are standing at the top of a staircase that goes down into the Water Cave. But we are not going any further here right now. So turn back to the ladder. Look down and click in the ladder hole to climb back down. Turn right and ......

The Fence has indeed come down again and blocks the way to the Revolving door. On this side of the fence there is such a small yellow lever .

On the other side of the fence is the "Tube Painting". Zoom in on the Fence and click the Yellow Lever up.

Because of this, something has changed in the "Tube Painting" that is on the other side of this fence. You want to see that now, so turn back to the ladder and climb up again and click on the Red Button above to raise the Fence again. To see what is change on the "Tube Painting" at the fence you must now return to the other side of this wall, so to the upstairs corridor. Climb down the ladder again and go back to the Revolving door. Walk through the door and then turn around . Click on the Red Button to turn the ladder back you and climb up the ladder again to the Round Top Hall.

Follow the above walk to the niche, in the back of the hallway. The fence is now here again. View the "Tube Painting" in the fence. It has changed because you have raised the Yellow Handle, on the other side of the Fence. In the "Tube" you see another Blue Circle with 2 black lines. Note also the position of the Red Circle. Well, determine the angle of the two black lines. Oh well ....that angle is 45 degrees. Also note the position of the Red Circle

Turn around and go back into the Round Top Hall and climb down the ladder to the Side Caves hallway. Turn again to the Revolving door and turn the door once more so that you can go through it again. Now follow the route, through the Water Cave, back to the Man Hole Cover. When you are back on the rail path in front of the manhole cover, turn right and follow the rail path to the end and then right to the Roller shutter door of the Water Pipes Cave. Open the door and go in

On the right is the 9 squares window of the Moon Photos. Turn left and go forward 1 time and turn right.

You are now standing in front of the Roller Window that, when you were here last time, was closed. It is now open, because in the Moon Room you have clicked the Red Button next to the two "Tube Paintings". So in the window is another small yellow lever. Click the Lever up and because of this something has changed in the "Tube Painting" that hangs in the 2nd Moon Room

We will now go back to that "Tube Painting", but that is not possible through the entrance in the Water Cave. That must be done through the Revolving door and the ladder in the Chest corridor. So first go back to the Revolving door. You know the route yourself now. Go through the Revolving door to the other side, turn around and turn the Revolving door 3 times again to turn the ladder towards you. Climb up to the Round Top Hall and above click the Square Red Button 3 times to put the ladder in the Left hatch. Climb down the ladder again and turn around to the Chest.

Move forward and turn around again to the Revolving door and turn t door once again. Go through the Revolving door to the ladder in the back of the hallway and climb down and follow the bottom corridor to the other side. Climb the ladder again, turn around and enter the front Moon room via the Rabbit Head Door:

The Tube Painting in the front Moon Room has not changed yet. Turn left and enter the 2nd Moon Room.

Turn left and see ...... Here the "Tube Painting" has changed because you just have put the yellow lever up in the Water pipes Cave. Well ..... Another Blue Circle. Measure again the angle that the two black lines make. This angle is thus 270 degrees. Note this down again. Also pay attention to the position of the Red Circle

Now to change the "Tube Painting" in the front Moon Room. For this we first have to find such a yellow lever to raise it again. You will find this yellow lever in the room, behind the wall of the "Tube Painting" in the front Moon Room. That is the room you saw when you looked through the window in the Chamber of Kales. That is where we are going to now. However, you still can not leave the Moon Room through the main entrance. So go back into the front Moon Room, turn right and go through the Rabbit Head door to the ladder. Go down the ladder again and follow the route back to the Chest When you are standing in front of the Chest again, you turn back to the Revolving door and then you turn the Revolving door again so that the ladder is turned towards you again.

Climb back up to the Round Top Hall and click on the Square Red Button again, to put the Revolving Door Ladder back into the Rear Hatch. Climb back down and turn the Pivot door back over so that you can go through it again to the other side. Go through the Revolving door again 2 times and turn right.

You are back in the fence hall, the fence is up. 3 times forward, right and climb up the ladder again. Up again in the corridor you turn 2 times to the left or to the right. To your left is that red button with which you have previously lowered the Fence down and up again in the downstairs corridor. You are now standing in front of the Staircase that goes down into the right side of Water Cave. On the other side you see the main entrance of the Moon Room and to the right of that is the room where you now have to go.

Descend the stairs 2, right, forward, left. A tunnel. Halfway through the tunnel there is a turn to the right that brings you to the lift maze

But we will go there later. Now just go forwards, left, forward, right and forward into the 3rd Moon Room.

You are now in the room you saw through the window in the Kales Room. Let's call this room the 3rd Moon Room. Turn left and......An open wall hatch with a Yellow Lever....

So this is the back of the "Tube Painting" in the front Moon Room. Well ... put the little Yellow Lever up.

Now back to the 1e Moon Room...... But we can now do this through the main entrance.

Turn left and follow the route back to the stairs, climb up to the hallway and descend the ladder back to the fence hall

Go forward, but do not go to the Revolving door. Instead turn right and then follow the route through the tunnel to the main entrance of the 1e Moon Room.

This door is closed, so click the lever, right, and the roller shutter door opens again. The roller shutter door to the 2 Moon Room will close again but don't worry about this

Step inside and turn clockwise to the "Tube painting". Well .... you now also see the Blue Circle Measure the angle of the two black lines again.

This angle is 225 degrees. Note it down again. Also pay attention to the position of the Red Circle

You have now changed all 4 "Tube Paintings" and made a note of the 4 angles and noted them down on your drawings. But what is there purpose ? These 4 Tube Paintings are the solution for the LIFTS Maze that you will solve immediately. We now have to go back to the room on the other side of the wall. So to the 3rd Moon Room. You should know the route there yourself now, so I'll leave you here again for a moment and see you again in the 3rd Moon Room

Hi .... there you are again, back in the 3rd Moon Room. Turn right. You look through a doorway and you see a Blue Metal Door.

There is a sketch on the left and on the right of the doorway. Zoom in on each of these 2 sketches and study them.

On the left sketch you see the lifts A, B, C and on the right sketch you see the inside of the lifts.

On the right sketch you see that Lift A is a platform that is divided into two halves by a partition wall. If Lift A is up or down, then the shaft of Lift A is NOT divided into 2 halves. So the partition is in Lift A itself. This means that if Lift A is down or up, there must be an undivided space above or below the lift. The lifts B and C also have 2 halves, but here the dividing wall divides the elevator shafts into 2 halves. The Metal Door you see now is the door of Lift A. Each Lift has 2 SIDES and you are supposed to get the right Side of Lift C down and to achieve this you must go up and down with the lifts in a specific way......

.....but don't worry......You have me, Louis Koot, to guide you through this Maze with elevators in the only right way, so pay attention.....

Go to the Blue Metal Door and open it by clicking on it with your hand. Step inside.

Do you now see a dividing wall that divides this lift into two halves? No....You don't see a dividing wall but you see another Metal Door.

So you are actually not in Lift A itself but in the shaft of Lift A. Lift A must now be above you or below you. Go forward, turn right and exit through the Metal Door.

You are on an iron path and straight ahead you see Lift B. You also see a "Forbidden for Persons Sign" hanging on the fence and behind that you sign see a Double Door with two "X" on it. Go ahead until you stand at the "Forbidden for Persons" sign. That Double Door is on the other side of the gap where you now stand and is the door where you finally have to go through. It is the door on which the 7-point Star Key fits for which you are now looking for the 3rd fragment. I have named that door as the "XYZ door". To the left of that door you also see the upper door of Lift C. Turn left. You now stand for:

Click on the door. Does it not go open now? Then Lift B is now at the bottom of the shaft. So click on the Arrow button to the right of the door to raise Lift B.

Then click on the door again and then enter Lift B. Inside you click on the Down arrow and you now go down with Lift B.

When the lift has come to a standstill, turn right and open the door and go forward one time. To the left it goes to Lift C, but first turn to the right.

You stand for a large square and white plate. On the board is a large Red Circle. You are now at the:

There is a thick Blue Button in the middle of the Red Circle. In the 4 numerical boxes you now have to enter the Angles / Degrees of the 4 Tube paintings. You know which degrees these are. But in which box do you have to enter which value? In each Tube Painting, in addition to the blue Circle, there was also a Red Circle. Well ... the position of that Red Circle determines whether you should now enter the Angle value in the Top, Right, Bottom or Left box. It is very far-fetched ..... this statement and I can not explain it better either. Let me just give you the right solution. You click on the arrows next to the boxes until you have the correct number in the boxes.

In the Top Box you put 225. In the Right Box you put 135. In the Lower Box you put 270. In the Left Box you put 45.T

You hear a "Clock-Dung" sound. Turn right and CLOSE the Door of Lift B. Then press the Arrow Up button of Lift B to sent this side of Lift B up now.

Lift C is at the top. So press the Arrow Down button to bring Lift C down to you. Open the door and enter Lift C.

Turn right and press the Arrow up button and you will now go up with Lift C.

Turn right, open the elevator door. Right in front of you can see a lift door again. Go there. This is the:

Open the door and step into the lift.... If this door does not open now, you have forgotten to raise Lift B at the Degrees Puzzle. You will have to do this now. In Lift B turn left and press the Down arrow button. This side of Lift B brings you down again. Turn right, open the elevator door and step out of Lift B.

You are now standing on a Metal "Arch" Path. The path continues to the OTHER SIDE of Lift A.

But there is a turn to the right that ends at a closed Metal Gate. However, go 3 times forwards to:

Open the elevator door and step into the elevator. Press the Arrow Up button and Lift A will bring you up again.

Turn left, open the elevator door and continue forward until the "No Access for Persons" sign. Turn left and you're back in front of:

Press the Arrow button again to bring Lift B back here, open the door and enter the lift again. Click the Down arrow button and Lift B will bring you down again.

Turn right, open the door and step forward 1 time. On the right is the Degrees Puzzle. Turn left and walk back to:

Press the Arrow Down button again to lower Lift C again. DO NOT STEP INTO LIFT C now. Turn around and walk back to:

Enter Lift B again, turn right and click the Arrow up button. With Lift B you now go up again. Turn the left or right twice, open the door and get out of the lift

Now go straight ahead into the tunnel, turn right, forward, left, forward, right and enter the 3rd Moon Room again.

Open the door and see ..... Lift A is here now. Step in the elevator and click on the Down arrow button. With Lift A you go down again

Lift A has two doors. Behind you and right. Turn right, open the door and get out of elevator A. You are back on a metal path. Straight ahead you see a roller shutter door. If you now look to the left, you will see the "Arch path" between the OTHER SIDES of the lifts A and B.

Turn right again. Follow the path to the Roller shutter door and click on the Red Button. The door opens.

If you have followed the route correctly then Lift C will be here now. Open the elevator door and step into the elevator and press the Up arrow button. You are now going up again. Turn around completely, open the door and step outside. If you turn right now you will see that you are now on the other side of the gab

Turn around. You are now standing in front of that Double Door. A yellow pipe runs above the door. The pipe goes to a wooden box that hangs to the left of the door. This is the yellow pipe that comes from the Generator Room. To the right of the door is a Square Red Button and above the button there is a "a = 5" piece of paper. Mote this down. Click with your hand on the Wooden Cabinet, left of the door. This opens and you now see the big Slot for the 3 Fragments of the 7-star Key. Click on the Square Red Button. The door opens now.

A ladder goes down behind the door. Go forward, look down and then click in the ladder hole and then descend the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder you turn around completely and click on the 2nd ladder and you also descend completely. Then turn around completely. You are now in a dead end corridor.

In the back of the corridor there is a box on the back wall. Go there. on the cupboard you see the X, Y, Z buttons.

On the right is a red button and a brown box. On the left is the GOLDEN DOOR.

You have found 3 Mathematical Formulas. You have written them down all 3. You now have to calculate the value of X, Y and Z according to the 3 Math Formulas and you have to enter these values on the XYZ box.

You have also found 2 notes with the value for a and for b already given. a is 5 and b is 4. With these two values you can now calculate the value of X, Y and Z. Take the 3 Mathematical Formulas at hand......

We will calculate Z first, then Y and last we'll do X.

The value of Z:

Now enter the value of a and b in the Z formula and then calculate the formula. Simply write out the formula completely. As follows:

Z = the (5 x 4) - (4 x 4).
Z = the root of: 20 - 16.
Z = the Root of 4.
Z = 2.

The Value of X.

You now know the Value of a, of b and of Z. Enter them in the X formula and then calculate X:

First above the line: 5 + 2 (to the 3rd power) - (2 divided by 2) = (7 x 7 x 7) - 1 = 343 - 1 = 3 42.

Now Below the line: (5 x 5) + (4 x 4) - (2 x 4 -5) = (25 + 16) - (8-5) = 41 - 3 = 38
X = 343 Divided by 38
X = 9.

The Value of Y:

First again above the line. So: (5 x 5) - 4 = 25 - 4 = 21.
Now under the line: Root X = Root of 9 = 3.
So Y = 21 Divided by 3.
So Y = 7

So in the XYZ box you now click on the X, the Y and the Z button to enter these values of XYZ .....

X = 9, Z = 2, Y = 7

Then turn right and click on the Red Button.

The brown box opens and contains the 3rd Fragment of the Key.....Take It

Opening the Golden Door:

The box closes automatically again. Turn around to the Golden Door and press the Red Button. Unfortunately ... the Golden Door does not open. This Golden Door is therefore the door where you need the 3 Fragments of the Key for:

Turn left and go back to the ladder and climb up again via both ladders. Then turn around and step outside on the metal path. Turn back to the XYZ door. Well ..... if you have not done it before, open up the Wooden Cabinet, to the left of the door.

Now take, one by one, the 3 Key Fragments from your inventory and click them in the relevant box of the large Round Slot. Then close the cabinet again.

Go down both ladders and go back to the Golden Door and then press the Red Button again and ...

.... NOW the GOLDEN DOOR will open.

Step forward 1 time through the now opened Golden Door.
