Chapter
7: Planetarium and Observatory
Part
1:
From
the lab you go through the gate that is now open up to the planetarium.
Take
a look around, it looks nice. You see planets revolve around the sun.
In
the middle is a switch panel with a sphere above it that projects the planets,
to the right of it is a pedestal of which you do not know what it is for.
On
the left is a chest on the ground with 3 squares on top, the first is now lit.
The second is lit when you click on it, the first goes out. The third does
nothing. Cable runs to all screens from this panel. At eye level you see 8
pictures, in front of each picture is a monitor with a symbol of a planet. There
are 8 pictures with 8 monitors and 8 symbols. You can zoom in on the symbols and
switch them on or off. You also see a spiral staircase to go up to the
Observatory.... The gate for this staircase is closed and locked.
The
gate to the stairs must be opened and we will take care of that first.
You
can zoom in on the green book. Do that and read it, also check the drawings.
The
bottom paragraph on the left-hand page and the drawing on the right-hand page
are important.
Turn
to the right. There you see a table, you can zoom in on the top of that table.
Here you will find 2 rolled up posters.
Take
good notice of the symbols behind each planet ..... they are the same symbols
that are also on the walls here and you are going to switch off and / or turn on
some of those symbols of planets. You begin with the inner planets, Mercury,
Venus, Earth and Mars. These symbols must remain on and the rest must switched
off. You always zoom in on the planet symbols and then click on them to switch
them on or off
Find
the symbol of Saturn ........
Zoom
in on Saturn and turn off the symbol.
Zoom
out and find the symbol of Jupiter, zoom in on it and switch off Jupiter.
Zoom
out. Find Uranus and switch off Uranus
Look
for Neptune and also switch off this symbol.
Now
zoom in on the switch panel with the globe above it. Move the slider to the
right and click on activate.
You
now get a projection of the inner planets around the sun. The upper light now
lights up on the panel.
Zoom
out and look at the spectacle. You are now going to switch off the inner planets
and switch on the outer planets.
Turn
off the Earth
Turn
off Venus.
Turn
on Saturn again.
Switch
off Mars.
Switch
on Neptune again.
Turn
on Jupiter again.
Turn
Uranus on again
Turn
off Mercury.
Zoom
in again on the switch panel with the globe above. Move the slider back to the
left and click on activate.
The
globe again projects the outer planets that revolve around the sun.
If
you look again in the book to the drawing, you see a small planet and a large
planet circle around the sun, in the text they talk about a large gas planet and
our small earth. The planets in the drawing could very well be Jupiter and the
Earth. We will turn on and off planets again.
Turn the Earth back on and Saturn out
again.
Turn
off Neptune and Uranus again.
Zoom
in on the box at the panel and click on the middle square, it will now light up.
Zoom
back in on the panel with the globe, pull the slider to the left and click on
activate.
The
next part will go by itself, you will see a number of projections one after the
other.
Blue
lights appear, 1 of which lands on the Earth.
Then
the gate to the spiral staircase opens up.
Click
on the stairs and you will go up to the observatory.
Observatory:
Take
a look around, there is plenty to see and discover. In the middle of the room is
a telescope and just in front of the table is the computer with the telescope
control. You have to enter coordinates here, but which, just click on the enter
button maybe these are good coordinates. But no,
you get an error message
The
hatch of the dome is not yet open. So look for the button to open that hatch. If
you look closely, you will see a red light next to the painting to the left of
the stairs.
Zoom
in on that switch and press the button, the light will turn green and the dome
will open.
Zoom
in on the eyepiece / sight glass of the telescope and .........
.........
you see the stars whose coordinates are now filled in, you don’t need those
stars that you see now..
Zoom
out (2x) and you will see a double rack with shelves against the wall, on the
bottom shelf there are 3 boxes. Click in the opening between the boxes.
You
now see a slider in the wall, slide it down and a secret box opens. There are 4
coins in it, take them.
Slightly
further to the left is a double storage rack with shelves but now transversely
to the wall, next to it is a table with a stool in front of it. On the stool is
a box, of course closed. Look at the table, you see two boxes with 4x4 lights
that you can turn on and off. In front of the right box there is a push button
with a star on it and for the left box there are 3 buttons with the symbols
water, comet and moon. In addition to the buttons, there is another triangular
slab for a door lock, again under a closed hood.
A
little more to the left is another table with a number of books, plates and
cutlery but that is not important because you cannot do anything with it. In the
middle you see two copybooks.
On
the top sheet of paper a doll is drawn that reaches to a star with underneath
III. This is an indication for 1 of the 3 steering wheels but which? Between the
two copybooks you can see a piece of paper, click on it and you see a drawing.
This has to do with the oscilloscope, it is also an indication for another
steering wheel.
Zoom out and turn to the left, there is a mattress on the floor and on the cushion is a book
Zoom
in on the book, it opens and you see a code in familiar characters. You have to
go back to the handles in the basement, next to it is the number VI. Write down
the code.
Next
to the mattress is a table with above a steering wheel, you can turn it. On the
edge are constellations, above the spokes are the coordinates that belong to the
constellation at the top of the wheel. Between the bottom spokes you see 3
squares for the other wheels, only we have to activate them first.
Zoom
out, next to the wheel is a shelving unit with a book on the bottom shelf on top
of a box. Zoom in on this book and click on it.
Here
we cannot go any further, we now have to start activating those wheels so click
on the stairs and go down.
Planetarium:
You
come in the planetarium and there you stop for a while because there are still a
few things hidden here.
Zoom
in on the constellation of Venus. To the left of the screen you see a table.
If
you look closely, you will see something against the wall on the right of the
leg of the table, click on it and you will get a strangely shaped plate in your
inventory.
Zoom in on that loose shelf in the stairway .....
You
can slide the board backwards and you will find a doll / action figure. There is
also a note in the hole, click on it and read the note.
We
now go further down, so click down the stairs and we'll get to the lab.
Laboratory:
Zoom in on the oscilloscope and ..........
.....
turn the knobs to get the wave on the screen the same as the drawing in the
telescope area.
That's
how it should be
Zoom
out and now go back to the anteroom.
Ante
room
Zoom
out and turn around to the pillar, behind the stairs. We are here now so we will
immediately solve this puzzle.
Zoom
in on the bottom part and drag the strangely formed plate there.
You now have to twirl the 2 plates and drag them together, on the bottom plate
you have to click 3 times and on the top plate 2 x. Then slide the plates
together.
You
zoom out yourself and a panel slides open to the left of the pillar. Click in
the hole and you are now in the space behind the stairs to the planetarium. You
hear that bad noise from a radio, you can already see that thing on the shelf in
the position. Turn off that thing, silence.
Look
around. A painting of a lady hangs above the hole. At the top of the painting
you see something white, zoom in (2x) on the white thing.
It
is a note with the explanation /clue for the puzzle with the busts in the
hallway to the tower with the slide projector, read it carefully because this is
important.
Turn
around to the shelving unit to the left of the window, on one of the shelves you
can see a few rolls sticking out.
Zoom
in and click on all 3 posters, remember the number 1566. Zoom out again.
Now
look right under the posters, just behind the box is a box with a puzzle lid.
Zoom
in on the box. It is again a puzzle box on which you have to turn the water
symbol correct.
So
rotate the 4 squares in the lid and then take the 2 coins out the box.
Zoom
out and turn to the left, right on the floor next to a stack of boxes and
picture frames you will see a note.
Zoom
in and view it.
Zoom
out and turn around and leave this space through the hole.
You
are back in the anteroom. Go to the lab and click on the door to the corridor
with the busts.
Projector:
Walk
to the other end of the hallway and click on the door to the tower. Go up the
stairs to the slide projector. Zoom in on the projector.
Press
the button to show another slide, continue until you have a male reaching for
the stars.
Zoom
in on the panels and move them until the lines coincide with the lines of the
slide,
Now
the wheel at the bottom of the tower has also been unblocked. So down the stairs
to the wheel.
Turn
the wheel until III is at the top, the wheel is now activated.
Zoom
out and go back up 1 stairs and then back through the door to the corridor with
the busts. We will now also solve this puzzle.
Corridor
with Busts:
In
the hall you call the busts A to D, start at the bust that is closest to the
door of the tower.
Each
bust is on a pillar and at the bottom of each pillar there is a switch.
So
you can zoom in on the bust and on those switches. First zoom in on every bust
...At
the top of each pillar you read the birth year and the year of death of the Bust
in question.
These
are these years ...... A = 1171, B = 1902, C = 1284 and D = 1805.
Read
the note again with the instruction for this puzzle.
On this note you can read that the birth year is important, the last digit of
the birth year you have to set on the dial at the bottom of the pedestal.
Then
go to plinth C and the pointer to 4.
Set
the pointer of plinth D to 5
Zoom
in on plinth B and set the pointer on 2
Turn
to the box with the gold colored plaque. Turn the pointer to the right and the
lid will open.
Grab
the disc and view it from all sides, on the back you will find the name HERMES.
Was
HERMES not an ancient god and were we not looking for a name to fill in under
the statue in the throne room?
Leave
the hallway and go down through the lab and the anteroom to the Throne Room with
the statue
Throne
Room:
A
panel slides open underneath, there is room for the disc there. Drag it to it.
You
zoom out and you see the hand of the statue coming down, in his hand he has a
yellow Orb. Zoom in on the hand and take the yellow Orb
