Chapter 6: Back in Time:

The Wild Lands Revisited

We are on the roof of Mortroga's castle. Nate and Wilbur have been captured by Munkus, who proudly shows the box with the artifact to his mother ....

......Mother and Munkus do not pay attention to Nate and Wilbur when suddenly Ivo appears........

Ivo uses an amulet to transport Nate and Wilbur outside the castle.

Ivo sees that Munkus does not want to hand over the box to his mother, but then she also transports herself to join Nate and Wilbur. 

Our hero trio has arrived back at the gate of the Orc Camp and Ivo explains to Nate and Wilbur that she has turned back time .......

Ivo says that after escaping with MacGuffin and Critter, she met the real Archmage. The real Arch-Magic gave Ivo the Telarion. The Telarion is an amulet that allows Ivo to travel not only to another place, but also in time. Ivo has now taken Wilbur and Nate back to the moment when Nate, with the armor, stood in front of the gate of the Orc Camp to start the Warrior Competition ....... Nate, in full armor, then appears at the gate.

Ivo gives Wilbur a sack and asks him to exchange the magical artifact in the box for the item in the sack.

 Ivo then tells Nate to go help himself to win the match because Nate is the masked man. 

The warrior Nate then walks into the Orc Camp to start the match and then the Masked Man appears and that is also Nate .....

Orc Camp:

Mask Nate and Warrior Nate:

It's all quite confusing, but you have to realize that we are back in time to prevent Munkus from getting his hands on the real artifact, when Wilbur and Nate leave the Orc Camp with the artifact box. So you are now Nate as the masked man. In inventory you have the piece of paper, on which the 3 numbers are for Bil's numbers game, and the map

A: Help with log throwing:

Walk through the gate into the camp. Masked Nate meets the Chief and Ma'Zaz. The Chief thinks that mask Nate is one Kallup, a spy of Mortroga. Chief is no friend of Mortroga and Kallup, but he won't get in the way of "Kallup". Walk one screen to the left. Warrior Nate is waiting in front of the Chief tent. Enter the Chief tent. Wilbur is still hanging comfortably upside down in the tent. Walk to the back and look at the purple cushion on the blue sofa ......

Nate says to put the termite plank on the pillow, but where to find such a special plank?

Dive into the inventory and then left click the map and travel via the map to the:

Crypt:

A spirit harlequin now stands in front of the crypt. Look at the gate to the Crypt. The gate to the Crypt is now locked with a chain. Go talk to Harlequin. Yu can talk to Harlequin at length but especially ask him about the special board via "I am looking for a specific board" ...... Harlequin says that Nate should go look at the cemetery for old boards . Talk to the harlequin a little more to find out that Esther and Gulliver are on their honeymoon and that the Chief has also disappeared.
The cemetery is around the crypt, so behind the fence. Move your cursor over the graves in the cemetery and then click on each grave where you get the magnifying cursor and ......

Nate then looks at the grave through the fence and reads who is buried in it and when they died. None of the graves have the correct date from the Lafite plank ..... if you have clicked on all the graves  you won't get a magnifying glass in the graveyard anymore. Then go talk to harlequin again and say "I can't find any grave dating from the year 1784" and ...... Harlequin points Nate to a plank, which is near the pink boxes and Nate then picks up that plank

Orc Camp:

 Walk one screen to the right to the Orc Camp, then re-enter the camp and continue to the Chieftent. 

Enter the chief tent again and put the Plank on the purple pillow...

Mask Nate then automatically puts the note under the shelf. Leave the tent again

Warrior Nate then walks into the tent to find the plank .....

Go to the front of the camp.  You will then hear Nate tell himself that he must also "doctor" the Chief's "tape measure".

The tape measure hangs over the wooden scoreboard, which is behind the chief.

 Look at the board and the tape measure, then take the tape measure .....

Ma'Zaz and the Chief strike up a conversation and this gives Nate the opportunity to secretly grab the measuring tape. Travel back to the Crypt via the map and then continue to Shaman's tent. Look at the cooking pot.  The water in the pot is already starting to boil. Throw the sock tape measure into the cooking pot and .......

....... after a few seconds Nate takes the tape measure out of the pot and the thing has shrunk. Leave Shaman and return to the Orc Camp.

Back in the Orc Camp, hang the now shrunken tape measure back over the scoreboard.

Leave the camp  but return immediately and we see warrior Nate win the throwing competition, while mask Nate watches.

B: Archery help

Now mask Nate has to rustle up a bow for warrior Nate. You are standing in front of the Chief tent. Travel back to the gate of the Crypt via the map and then continue to Shaman's tent. Click magnifying glass on Shaman's and then go talk to him and ask the old wise witchdoctor if he has a bone bow that he can miss, via "I'm looking for a bone bow.....". Shaman has no bow but a deer's antler. Shaman is willing to give the deer antlers to Nate in exchange for "fire water", which Shaman uses for his lamp. Go back to the Orc Camp. Back at the Orc Camp, we then witness warrior Nate's dealings with Bil and winning the magic stone via the note that Mask Nate gives to warrior Nate.

Mask Nate walks out of camp once he has given the note to warrior Nate. Immediately walk back into the camp and walk to the right and talk to merchant Bil and ask for fire water via "Firewater ..... do you have anything like that?".  Bil still has a bottle of fire water but he doesn't give it away for free....Mask Nate doesn't have any money either so he proposes a trade.....so say "I could get copper kettles for you....."

Bil agrees to trade his bottle of fire water for 97 copper pots. Mask Nate doesn't have those copper pots. Travel via the map to the Volcano. Upon arrival at the volcano, Dragon pretends to be a ferocious fire dragon but fails. If you want you can talk to Dragon but this is not necessary. Nate's copper pots are at the anvil ..... look at the copper pots and then pick them up .....

Go back to the crypt and continue to the Orc Camp. Walk back into the camp and give the copper pots to merchant Bil. Mask Nate keeps 1 copper pot himself because he likes it so much. Mask Nate gets the bottle of fire water from Bil. Return to Shaman and hand him the flask of fire water and get the deer antlers in return. via the map travell to the Ogres cave .... continue to the cave and look at the cupboard in the cave again.

Mask Nate opens the cabinet and takes out some dental floss. In inventory, combine the dental floss with the deer antlers and you will have a bone bow. Back, via the map, to the crypt and then on to the Orc Camp and go back inside and .... Mask Nate gives the bow to warrior Nate who then walks away to start the target shooting .....

So follow warrior Nate to the archery competition and watch Warrior Nate win.

C: Speed race help:

The speed race has begun. Leave the camp through the gate. Search, with your magnifying glass, the garbage heap, to the left of the gate, and ......

Mask Nate grabs a gnome hot air balloon from the garbage. Go back to the Orges cave via the map.

Mask Nate ends up again just in front of the cave at the crevice where the Orges has flung down.

Look at the crevice with your magnifying glass ....... 

Blout and Zloff, the two-headed Ogre, want to know who is above them on the edge. Say you're Ma'Zaz....and....

Mask Nate mocks the Orges and they become quite angry with the real Ma'Zaz, but they must now be helped out of the abyss fto be of any use to warrior Nate. Now click with the talk cursor on the edge to start talking to Zloff and Blout as Nate and Nate describes to Blout and Zloff what Ma'Zaz looks like and offers to help them out of the gap so that they can go after Ma'Zaz.  Walk slightly to the right, to the still smoldering campfire of the Ogre.  Take the hot air balloon from inventory and click it on the campfire to fill the balloon with hot air and ..

Mask Nate then lowers the rope, on which the balloon floats, into the crevice, but unfortunately the Ogres are too heavy to be pulled out of the gorge by the small balloon. How to get them lighter? Travel back to the Orc Camp, via the Crypt. In the Orc camp talk again with merchant Bil and ask him about his "shrinking ring" and .....

Mask Nate gets the ring for free. Return to the Ogres camp and throw the shrink ring down to Blout and Zloff and ..........

...both Ogres shrink enormously and rise up and immediately run away to teach that Ma'Zaz a lesson. 

Because of this Warrior Nate will also wins the running race.

Go back to the Orc Camp and inside and see that warrior Nate  wins the running contest...

..Mask Nate disappears and we become

Wilbur:

We see Wilbur being freed from his predicament in the Chief Tent. The artifact box is already in front of the mirror.

Wilbur therefore has the bag in inventory, containing Ivo's "thing". Take the bag from inventory and click it on the box and ......

...Wilbur exchanges the artifact with the contents of the bag and ......then goes to collect the termites.... We then see Wilbur walk back into the tent and.......

..........the termites run off with the box and then we see Munkus take the box and take our heroes to Mortroga's castle.

Then we see Mask Nate with Wilbur in front of the gate and ..... we hear Ivo transporting Nate and Wilbur away.

after loading,  We then end up, as Ivo, back in the torture chamber of the witch's castle:

Ivo:

Well....there's not much left to do. Leave the torture chamber through the front door and walk to the right and then go up the stairs to the roof and...

Munkus and his army are on the roof to proudly present the artifact to mothers. Nate and Wilbur are standing, on the left, at the rusty box. Ivo comes up the stairs and she then throws the robot guard down the stairs. Ivo then walks to Nate and Wilbur and they tells the 2 to grab the amulet and Nate and Wilbur are teleported away

Ivo stays on the roof for a while to see the outcome. Munkus has not noticed any of this and he now wants to give the artifact to mummy ......

...... but then ...... Wilbur and Nate appear, on the back of Dragon and ....... Wilbur throws the amulet onto the roof and .......

....... the amulet opens a teleport portal to the Pixie mine and the roof of the castle is now overrun by hordes of Pixies

.........The pixies are too much for Munkus and Mortroga.....Ivo also jumps on Dragon and Dragon then flies our group of heroes out of the game ......

After the credits we see the rabbit in the top hat......

Rabbit announces part 2 of "The Book of Unwritten Tales" as the story of Ivo, Wilbur, Nate and Critter is far from over
