Iztali Point part 2:

At the end of Iztali Point part 1 you have step into this new area of this world. Perhaps you want to see your progress before you go on, so here it is.

Turn left. In the distance you'll see another "Day and Night disc" and in a niche, right next to the door, you'll  see a hint sphere. 

If you look to your right you'll see a fireplace. Behind this fireplace you see a stone staircase that goes up to a higher plateau. At the stone wall, in the middle, stand a fire basket 

Now go to the hint sphere and read its message 

NB: Louis: I have to explain something now before we go on.....You can do the following things during daytime or during nighttime. Dick did it in daytime but I (Louis) did it nighttime and that's why the next screenshots are made during nighttime.  But it is better to do the following in daytime because then it is easier to find all of the firepots you have to find and light up

You need some kind of torch right away, so you have to make a fire and then light a stick or a coconut in the fire. If it is night in your game then you walk on to the "Day and Night disc" and  stand on it  an it will be daytime again. Again, the following screenshots are made by Louis in nighttime because later on it should be night again. Standing on the "Day and Night disc"  you take the time to look around for a moment

When you look to the left you see a fire basket and a light scale. You can't see it in the picture, but behind the light scale stand another fire basket an another fireplace. Opposite the light scale you see a rock island and you see that you have to reach that rock island through a couple stone heads that are in the water. At the moment only the first stone head has risen out of the water.  You also see a little stone jetty in the water. In the upper right corner stand a chest on an island and you must reach it by jumping the moon pillars in front of it, but only the rear pillar is now risen

You are still standing on the "Day and Night disc". Turn right.

 in the distance you see a Story Tile Vase with Lua Tile 10 floating in the light. Just before the Lua Tile there are 2 fire baskets

Walk to the Lua Tile and read/listen what Lua want you to do.  You must make a fire an then light up all the fire baskets. . 

Go back to the door, that is closed again. Just in front of the door you will find the fireplace. 

Make a fire in the fire place with the stick and the bow. 

When you have made a fire, go find a stick or a coconut and  throw it into the fire and then pick up the burning stick / coconut again. You carry the burning stick or coconut with you. You don't have to hold your mouse button pressed to carry things, but do not click because if you do click you drop what you are carrying. If you feel the need to through the stick/coconut then right click.  With your burning stick or coconut you now have to light up the 10 fire baskets that are here . In this part of the area are 6 fire baskets.  Behind the fireplace is a stone staircase. Carrying your burning stick or coconut  up the stone stairs to the higher plateau

On the plateau stand  fire basket 1. Light up the fire basket with your burning stick/coconut. To do so keep your burning stick coconut above the basket and the basket will be lid

Go back down with your burning stick / coconut and walk in the direction of the water. 

To the left against the wall you'll find fire basket 2, so light it up with your stick or coconut.

 

Turn right and walk to the 2 fire baskets, just before the Lua Tile because they are fire baskets 3 and 4, so light them up.

Turn  left and walk on to the light scale. In front of the Light scale you will find Fire basket 5 and beyond the light scale you will find Fire basket 6, so light them both up.

When you have lid all 6 fire baskets a number of stone pillars and stone heads will rise up in the water, but in daylight they have not all risen to the right height. Turn around and walk back over the beach to the stone pillars at the fire baskets 3 and 4. Across the water is the plateau with the chest and there is also fire basket 7 On the 2 stone discs in front of plateau you  see the moon. So if you are in daytime now go stand on the "Day and Night disc" to make it night and the 2 stone moon  pillars and the stone heads rise further up. With your burning stick or coconut in your hand go to the two stone moon pillars. Jump on the first pillar and then onto the second and make sure you do not loose your burning stick/coconut. Jump from the second pillar to the chest plateau 

The Jump Assist will make it a lot easier to jump to the chest plateau

On the chest  platform the first thing to do is light up fire basket 7 on. In the chest is an item that you have to take with you, but that is not possible as long as you carry the burning stick / coconut. So when you have lit fire basket 7 turn around to the beach. Aim with your burning stick or coconut to the beach and right-click to throw your stick / coconut, over the water onto the beach.  if your aim was good  then you will stick / coconut will land on the beach, still burning

Turn back to the chest, click on the chest to open it now and then grab the stone figurine that comes out of it .

Jump back to the two moon pillars and then to the beach, with the figurine in hand, and take the figurine to the light scale. 

Put the figurine into the beam of light and see what happens .

Now the last stone heads are up also. Pick up your burning stick / coconut again or light a new one in one of the fireplaces. 

Then jump, with your burning stick / coconut, in hand the stone heads to get to the rocky island, on the left

On the rocky island stands fire basket 8 and there is "Day and Night disc".  Use your burning stick or coconut to light up Fire basket 8. 

Then go stand on the "Day and Night disc" to switch to daylight again. 

Turn around and you'll see fire basket 9 in the water. On your left you can see fire basket 10 on another rocky island. First go light up fire basket 9. Just walk over the stone surface through the water to fire basket 9 and light it up. When fire basket 9 is burning, turn around and walk back to fire basket 8. You have to jump to get back onto the island. 

Now we go to fire basket 10. Between fire basket 8 and fire basket 10 stand pillar A in the water.

Jump to pillar  A and the from A onto the island where fire basket 10 stand on an light it up. (sorry...no screenshot) When you have lighten up fire basket 10  you can drop your burning stick or coconut because you don't need it here anymore.  Pillar A has risen higher out of the water, so jump back onto pillar A. Then turn around and now jump the stone heads to reach the plateau on the other side.

When you have reached the other side, walk to the left and you come to a waterfall 

Walk through the waterfall and then follow the stream down and then go up the right river bank .

You immediately see a hint sphere, so read its message. 

Turn to the left and walk on. You find another Story Tile Vase with a Lua Tile floating in a beam of light ......Read and hear Lua's message

Continue to the stone bridge, you will also see fire baskets standing around, here, but now fireplace to make a fire.. If you had taken the burning stick or coconut, it would have been extinguished when you stepped through the waterfall. So we have to look for fire. Do not walk over the stone bridge for a while, but continue exploring this island .  On the other side of the water you see the door you have to go through to the next area and there is also a fish pond. But how to reach that door ? This is the puzzle you have to solve .

Turn left..... in the distance you see another Hint sphere standing in front of the high rock. To the right of that hint sphere you see a wooden fence/gate. Walk on to the hint sphere to read its message about shells.

The wooden fence is firmly tied with lianas, so you need something burning to burn those lianas. Now go  back to the stone bridge and now cross the bridge to a secluded area with 5 light scales and a wooden fence.

 In the middle of the frond 4 light scales stands an Story Tile Vase with another Lua Tile. Go read and here Lua's message an read it carefully because it tells you what you need to do here

Lua says that you have to place a stick, a stone , a coconut and a shell in those 4 light scales, all of witch you can find nearby. In the upper left corner of this area is an fireplace. Go to that fireplace. You also see that you must place an arrowhead into the light scale that is standing before the wooden gate. There are two fireplace and by the second one you'll  find a stick and a shell. 

NB Louis: It may be that in the latest version of the game you will find the shell in a different place here

You have to place a stick and a shell in the light scales, surrounding the Lua Tile Vase, but you can't carry more than one object at a time. So grab the stick or the shell and carry it to one of the 4 light scale and put the stick or shell into the light beam of the scale. The go back  to the fireplace to pick up the other object (shell or stick) and put in one the other scales.

Just before the stone bridge you'll find a coconut and a stone, so pick them up and place them in the remaining two light scales

NB Louis: In newer versions of the game, you may only find a stone near the bridge. You then have to look for a coconut somewhere on the beach

When you have put all four objects into the four light scales have an object they open up and you have fire in the fireplace. Also all fire baskets are burning now. 

When you go back to the light scale that stands  in front of the wooden  gate you see there's  a transparent arrowhead floating in the blight .So you have to find an arrowhead and throw it into the light scale and then this gate will open. behind the fence you'll  find your 4th Rune sign.  All right; go back over the stone bridge and walk back to the hint sphere that by the rock and the wooden fence that is tied with lianas. Notice that all the fire baskets here are burning now

Go  to the left site of the big rock and then walk further along the water. Go around the rock and there you'll find the 3rd Rune sign, so take it .

You still have to score 3 rune signs but you now that your fourth rune sign is behind that other wooden fence by the light scales. But you need an arrowhead to get to that rune sign. Go back to the other side of the big rock. Find a coconut, they are lying everywhere on the beach, and light it up at one of the fire baskets. Carry your burning coconut to the wooden fence at the big rock and burn the lianas with it

The fence falls on the ground and you can now enter the new area. Go to the very end of this new area, past the "Day and Night disc". 

At the end of the island, turn around to find a hint sphere and this sphere gives you a hint about what you must do to cross the water to the other site....

Now walk back along the beach to the 2 stone arches, at the "Day and Night disc". When you walk back you see that there are sun beams and moon beams floating in the water. You also see a rock in the water and behind that rock stands button 2. Between the two stone arches you find a short stone stairs an on top of it stands button 1. Go up the stairs to button one.

The hint of the last hint sphere has told you that "the sun must shine when you cross".....You must reach button 2 first in order to cross the water to the other side and to turn sun beams it must be daytime. To turn moon beams it must be nighttime but because it's now daytime we go turn the sun beams first. Press Button 1 twice (2 times) and  the front sun beams are good. the picture below shows the start situation, not as it is after you pressed button 1 twice.

Turn around and descend to the "Day and Night disc" and stand on it  to switch to nighttime. 

Climb up again to Button 1 and now press it  3 times to turn the moon beans in the right direction for button 2. 

Button 2 will turn the beams to make a path to the other side, but the hint sphere has told you that the sun should shine when you cross. 

So go stand onto the "Day and Night disc" to switch back to daytime. Now walk over the floating beams to button 2

The bar you are now standing on has a sun. Press Button 2 and the bar you are on turns around. 

Now you have made a path to the other side. So walk across the beams to the other side, 

 There's a "Day and Night disc" and  a Lua Tile.  Read the Lua Tile.  Right behind the "Day and Night disc" stands a chest 

Go to the chest and click on it to open the chest. An arrowhead comes out the chest. Grab the Arrowhead, it's for the light scale by the wooden fence, so you'll will carry the arrowhead with you now. 

You have to go back, with the arrowhead, to that closed fence by the fireplace, but you cannot go back over the beams in the water from this side because you can not turn the beams here. Go stand on the "Day and Night disc" now to switch to nighttime. When it night you'll  see 2 stone moon pillars rising out of the water on the right. Walk there and jump, with the arrowhead in hand, over the two moon pillars to the other side. 

Slightly further four stone fish rising out of the pond, on the left, and on the right you see a rock. You're now at the fish pond. 

Go around the rock to find another hint sphere that tells you that you have to feed the fish in the pond because there hungry

Feed the Fish:

You must lay the arrowhead onto the ground now and remember where you put it down. Coconuts are hanging from the palm tree here and you can also find coconuts on the ground. 

Take a coconut and walk to the jetty. Aim your coconut at the mouth of the front right fish and then........

 press your right mouse button to throw the coconut into the mouth of the fish and the fish drops down.

Get another coconut and throw it into the front left fish.  Do this also with the other fish. Every time you have feed a fish, the fish sinks down and a pillar rises up out of the water. In order to reach the 2 fish in the rear, jump on the pillars that have already risen.  When all 4 fish have disappeared under water, you can reach the other side by jumping the pillars, but don't do this now. 

On the other side you'll see the box with the quarter piece for the exit door in it, but you will get it later. Now you are going to bring the arrowhead to the light scale at the wooden fence first to score your fourth rune sign. Do you remember where you have put the arrowhead on the ground? Just leave the arrowhead there for just a little bit longer and walk on to the big exit door. Just before the exit door are 2 fire basket standing by the water. You must lighten up those 2 fire basket and then you can cross over to the other site of the water here. Go all the way back to where the "Day and Night disc" is.....it's still night. Find a coconut and put it on fire by one of the burning fire baskets here.

Take your burning coconut to the 2 fire basket at the exit door and light them up and.....

.....when the 2 fire basket are burning moon pillars rise up in the water. Throw your coconut away and go back where you heft left the arrowhead. 

Pick up the arrowhead again to take it with you again. Back to the two fire baskets and now cross over to the other side. You have to jump the moon pillars while carrying the arrowhead. If you fall into the water you'll drown but immediately the game gives you another chance

When you have reached the other side of the water then go over the stone bridge again to the area with the five light scales. 

Go to the light scale in front of the wooden fence and place the arrowhead in it and...........

 ..........the wooden gate opens, so walk in and grab the Rune sign

Two more rune signs to score in this world. 

Go back to the big exit door by crossing back over the stone bridge and then jumping back over the moon pillars and then walk back to the fishpond.

Now cross the fish pond by jumping the pillars and go to the chest. Click on the lock of the chest to open it  and pick up the quarter piece that's coming out of it

Turn around and carry the quarter piece back to the exit door, so you have to jump the stone pillars in the fish pond again.....

 Put  the quarter piece into the light beam of the ring........the quarter piece is again sucked up and the door opens. 

Walk through the door and follow the path up to a staircase. To the left of the stairs you will find another hint sphere, so go read the message.
