Chapter 1: 

A: Willow Creek:

It's 3 weeks later. Adrian has been held in the cell of the local police station for 3 weeks because he cannot cough up £5,000 as bail.   

Every now and then Adrian is allowed to leave his cell for a chat with psychologist Dr. Joyce Winterbottom and this is where the game now begins

Adrain told Dr. Joyce Winterbottom all about the curse of the Gordon's, about the ritual in which he spoke words he did not know and about the deaths of his mother and sister who fell into the gorge. In short.....Adrian has told Winterbottom in detail what happened to him in Black Mirror 2. Unfortunately, no one believes Adrian's story, not even Dr. Winterbottom because she thinks that Adrian is just imagining everything from an unconscious feeling of guilt. Officer Zak then comes in to take Adrian back to the police station because Inspector Spooner has news for Adrian.

Police station:

Spooner is convinced that Adrian is completely guilty of arson and the murder of at least 4 people. Spooner also does not believe Adrian's story about "the Order" because the police have not found any evidence for the existence of that "Order". The good news for Adrian is that an anonymous person has paid his £5,000 bail. Adrian is therefore free to leave his cell, but of course he has to stay in Willow Creek.

If you move the cursor to the top right, 4 buttons will appear. These are the buttons to make all "hotspots" visible on the screen, to open the Save/Load screen, to go to the main menu screen and the button to open Adrian's diary. You can also bring up the main menu screen by pressing your ESCAPE key and then you can also Save, Load and Exit

Adrian can take his personal belongings out of the cell and then, at least temporarily, wander around Willow Creek as a free man. But before you leave the police station, look at everything you can look at here in the police station. On the left is the passage to the cells. There is a metal cupboard, near the cell passage, that serves as a storage place for evidence. There is a drinking water dispenser against the cupboard. Behind Spooner's desk is a wooden cabinet containing police files. A lot of those files are labeled "Gordon". A fan hangs from the ceiling. The photocopier is in the right corner. Constable Zak sits, bottom right, behind the Emergency Center. Once you have viewed everything at least once, go to the Cells

There are 2 cells and the left cell is Adrian's cell. Matt Newcastle is locked up in the right cell. In both cells there is a bunk bed and a toilet under the barred window and, next to the toilet, there is a narrow Locker, where the prisoner can store his personal belongings. In Adrian's cell, check out the locker. Adrian automatically opens his locker and takes out a Pencil, which is stored in the inventory. However, Adrian had also put his diary in the cupboard, but... the diary has disappeared.Look at the locker again. Adrian reports that his cupboard was already open, while he is sure that he had locked the cupboard. Someone opened the locker and stole Adrian's diary from it. Check out Matt Newcastle, the prisoner in the other cell. After Adrian's comment, click on Matt Newcastle with the talk cursor to talk to him.

Newcastle has stolen Adrian's diary and he reads from it out loud and then rips out the pages he has read. Adrian gets angry and has a vision in which he kills Newcastle with the newly found pencil. Luckily it was just a vision. Newcastle then throws the remainder of the diary in Adrian's face who then picks up his diary. The remaining diary pages end up in inventory.

Right click in inventory on the diary pages. Adrian reports that most of the pages are empty. From now on you can open Adrian's diary via the diary button at the top right. The diary keeps track of the things that Adrian has to do and that he has already done. By the way, it is a fairly useless function because it will not be of much use to you. Return to the office section of the police station via the exit on the left edge of the screen (Back to office).

Spooner makes Adrian sign his discharge papers and he gets his wallet back and his lawyer's business card. 

Constable Zak reports that Adrian should call his lawyer. Adrian is then free to go, but he must report to Dr. Winterbottom every day.

Village Square

Adrian then stands outside the police station, on the square. To the right of the police station is the Grocery store (Old Fashioned Shop). Against the facade of the food store is a table with all kinds of vegetables on it (Vegetable stall). The next house is the Café. The square also houses the Pastry Stand ("Fairground Booth"), which Adrian, however, is not interested in. Behind the Pastry Stand is the bend of the river. There is a sewer cover in the middle of the square. The house in the foreground is the Pub and in front of the Pub two older ladies are sitting on the bench chatting with each other. There is a red telephone booth against the side wall of the Pub.

In inventory look at  the business card of Jones, Adrian's lawyer. 

Take the bussinees card out of inventory and click with it on the telephone booth and.......

....... Adrian enters the telephone booth and calls his lawyer.

The first part of the conversation goes automatically but then  the conversation options appear in the form of small photos.

Attorney Jones says the justice system cannot charge Adrian until they can produce evidence of his guilt. However, since the American embassy has become involved in Adrian's case, things have become somewhat more complicated for Adrian. Inspector Spooner won't put in too much effort because he's only interested in producing a culprit as quickly as possible so he can get back to London, and Spooner already has that culprit...namely Adrian.... ...Lawyer Jones says he is convinced of Adrian's innocence. But it would be good if solid evidence for Adrian's innocence could also be found. Dr. Jones will try to find out who posted Adrian's bail, but that could take a few days. Jones says that Adrian should not miss his daily visits to Dr. Winterbottom as it will be good for his case. Jones advises Adrian to try to look at his police file and look for evidence proving his innocence. Jones also says that he has not yet been able to find any documents that prove that Adrian is really Adrian Gordon.

There is an orange card taped to the inside of the telephone booth door (Little card). Take that orange card. It is the card of Madame Fortuna, a fortune teller. Immediately take Madame Fortuna's card from inventory and click it on the telephone to call the fortune teller immediately. Over the phone, Madame Fortuna predicts Adrian's immediate future and she claims that Adrian will be mauled by wild beasts today. Adrian hangs up and thinks it's all nonsense. Walk back to the square via the right side of the screen (To Village square) and then enter the police station again.

Click on Spooner with your talk cursor to talk to him and then continue talking to the very annoying inspector through all the conversation topics. There are quite a few topics of conversation, but many of the topics are really about nothing. But still use all options so that they don't pop up again later. The main topics of discussion are of course the "Police file", the "Castle fire" and the "Gordon family".

Spooner does not allow Adrian to view his police file and Spooner also refuses to make a copy of the file for Adrian. Spooner is convinced that Adrian is an American named Darren Michaels, because that is the name on his birth certificate. So for Spooner, Adrian/Darren is as guilty as hell of arson and murder. Spooner also reports that Louis, the gardener of Black Mirror Castle, has disappeared and that Adrian Gordon died as a baby during a fire. There was nothing left of the baby's body but a pile of ashes. The death certificate was signed by Dr. Heinz Hermann. If you have played Black Mirror 2 then you know that gardener Louis is probably still under the rubble of the Academy

Once you have discussed everything with the annoying and irritating Spooner, you leave the police station again (To the village square). Back on the square go over the bridge to the other side of the river (Over the bridge). Adrian then arrives at Dr.'s house. Winterbottom.The corner house, on the right, is the Museum. 

On the left it goes to the forest (Road to woods) and on the right to the hotel (Road to hotel). Click on Winterbottom's door

Adrian rings the bell and then goes inside and end Adrian ends  up in the office of:

Dr. Joyce Winterbottom:

Talk to Dr. Winterbottom and use all options.

Joyce Winterbottom says she was a friend and fellow student of Dr. Heinz Hermann. Heinz Herman was murdered here in Willow Creek 12 years ago. Winterbottom then came to Willow Creek and stayed. Winterbottom also says that Spooner was transferred from London to Willow Creek as punishment for arresting a number of completely innocent people. Spooner has quite a reputation in this field and his London bosses wanted him out of London for a while. Winterbottom also doesn't know who paid Adrian's bail, but it certainly wasn't her. When Adrian tells of his hallucination in the cell, Winterbottom suggests trying hypnosis therapy to "dissect" Adrian's dreams. An appointment is made for such a hypnosis session the next day.

When you have talked withWinterbottom, take a look around her office.

 Check out everything you can, but be sure to check out the "Dreamcatcher" hanging behind Winterbottom in the window. 

Once you have looked at everything, exit back outside via the stairs (Stairs). Back outside, go back over the bridge to the Pub. 

Back at the 2 old ladies, who are sitting on the bench in front of the Pub, walk one screen to the left (Directions of pub) to reach the front door of the Pub.

So this is the "Three Kegs" Pub of that criminal Tom and Adrian doesn't want to go in here anymore, because in Black Mirror 2 his relationship with Tom was not very friendly. To the left of the Pub door there is a blackboard (Menu) showing what the pub serves. A Sponge dangles from the blackboard. Take the Sponge. 

The Sponge is completely dried out. Go back to the Square to the right of the 2 old ladies. Behind the Pastry Stand is the bend in the river and there you can dip the Sponge in the water. First look at the River with your eye cursor. Then take the Sponge from inventory and click with it in the bend of the River and....

Adrian dips the dry sponge in the river and then has a soaking Wet Sponge  

Click with the Exit cursor on the front door of the Café to enter there now.

Cafe:

This is Willow Creek's local lunchroom. Waitress Denise is behind the counter. Check out everything you can before talking to Denise. 

The counter has a glass Counter under which the food is placed. Examine the glass Counter. Adrian notices that there are no more donuts. There are photos in various places on the back wall. Look at all those photos. Adrian notes that almost all the people in the photos have been murdered. In back wall is also the door to the storeroom. Once you've looked at everything you could look at, talk to Denise after looking at her with your eye first. 

The most important thing to ask Denise here is about the Donuts. If you ask Denise about the Donuts you will be given additional conversation options, which you will of course also use. You can only ask Denise about Donuts if you have first examined the Counter with your eye. Only ask Denise for a cup of coffee last. Denise recognizes Adrian from the newspaper, but she is not afraid of Adrian and the Café belongs to her father. Denise says that there are still Donuts in the pantry, but they are reserved for Inspector Spooner. Spooner comes to pick up his donuts every morning, but he hasn't done this yet today. Finally, ask Denise for a cup of coffee and......

Denise then goes to the coffee machine and makes a cup of coffee for Adrian, so she can't see what Adrian is doing for a while... quickly... click with the Exit cursor on the storeroom door to secretly enter there.  In the storeroom look at the shelving units with your eye. There is a scale in the 3rd shelving unit and on the shelf, under the scale, there is a box of Donuts. But you first have to check the shelves with your eye to get the Donut Box available. There is a freezer on the right wall. Take the Donut Box from the 3rd shelving unit. 

Click on the freezer with your gear cursor to open the chest. Adrian gives you a hint on how you can ensure that the freezer can no longer be opened. Take the Donut Box from inventory and click it on the open freezer chest to place the donuts in the freezer chest. Then take the wet Sponge from inventory and click with it on the freezer

Adrian wets the rubber closing edges of the box with the wet sponge and then closes the box again. The wet closing edges will freeze, meaning no one will be able to open the freezer. Go back to the Café via the left side of the screen and Spooner comes in to pick up his donuts and Denise ducks into the pantry to grab them. 

But Denise has to tell Spooner that his donuts are still in the freezer, but they can't open the box and can get. Spooner, horny bear that he is, wants to "warm up" Denise in the storeroom and he and Denise dive into the storeroom. Adrian is outside again. Well.....Spooner is out of the way and hopefully he isn't doing a quicky with Denise. So enter the police station again.

Police station:

The Copier Fuse Puzzle:

Constable is still at his post behind the alarm center. 

Talk to Constable Zak and use all options again, but use the "Police files" option last.

Constable Zak tells something about Spooner, but also that nothing has been found in the sewers, the mine tunnels and the bunker that can confirm Adrian's story. Zak finds Tom and Bobbie's alibi somewhat suspicious, but if Tom is lying then it cannot be proven. Constable Zak wants to copy Adrian's police file, but unfortunately... the copier is broken. Adrian offers to see if he can fix the copier, and Zak agrees.

So click with your gear cursor on the copier (Photocopier). Adrian goes to check the copier and reports that a fuse and a few electrical wires have blown. Adrian thinks he can bypass the blown fuse with the other wires by making a new continuous connection. You then end up in the close-up of the fuse box of the copier and have ended up in your first real puzzle of the game:

You see 14 white fuses, which are connected to each other with red wires. 4 red wires are burned out. In the screenshot below the burned wires are marked as A, B, C, D. At the top of the screen you will see the On/off button and the green copy/print button. You will need to make new connections to "bypass" the blown fuses. After a minute or so, a red lever will appear at the bottom right. That red lever is the Auto-solve button that allows you to solve the puzzle automatically. So if you don't want to solve the puzzle yourself, just wait until the red lever appears and then click that lever down and the puzzle will then be solved automatically. 

However, if you want to solve the puzzle yourself, here is the solution.

Left click on a red thread to pick up the thread. Right-click on a red wire to rotate the wire one turn. Number the white fuses, from top left to bottom right, 1 to 11, as shown in the images above and below. First remove the 4 blown red wires A, B, C, D between fuses 2 and 6, between fuses 5 and 6, and at fuses 8 and 9. Pick up those 4 burned wires and then drag them to the left or to the bottom of the screen.Once you have removed the 4 burnt wires, click on the black on/off button. Of course nothing happens.

Now you need to make new connections. Pick up the red wire that is between fuse 3 and 4 and then place that wire between fuses 5 and 6. There are 2 red wires between fuses 1 and 4. Pick up the left of the 2 red wire and then place this wire between fuses 8 and 9. There are 2 red wires between fuses 10 and 11. Pick up the lower of the 2 red wires and place it in the middle position between fuses 10 and 11. Now press the black on/off button again and.....6 leds will light up. The 6 LEDs that light up are the LEDs of the green copy button, the black on/off button, the LEDs on fuses 4, 5 and 10 and the LED at the bottom right of the central unit.

Now press the green copy button and..........the device turns on and you automatically leave the puzzle.

The copier is now working again, so go talk to Constable Zak again and use the copier subject again. 

Adrian reports to Zak that the copier is working again. Zak would like to make a copy of Adrian's file, but he cannot give the copy to Adrian. 

Zak does want to send a copy of the file to Adrian's lawyer by post, and he will put the copy in the mailbox this afternoon.

Leave the police station again. Outside again you see that there is a  red letter box against the facade of the police station. 

Look at  the Letter box. 

Adrian has to come up with something so that the copy, when Zak throws it in the letter box, does not end up at the bottom of the mailbag of the letter box. So Adrian has to put something in the slot of the letterbox, but what? There is a wooden table under the awning of the Pastry Stand. Walk to the table and first look at the wooden table with your eye cursor. Once you have examined the wooden table with your eye, a thin wooden Board will become available and lie on the table. Take that  wooden Board. It turns out to be a menu. 

Walk back to the letter box. Take the Board (Menu) from inventory and click with it on the letter box and.....

Adrian puts the board, via the slot, in theletter box and Adrian hides at the telephone booth. 

Constable Zak then comes out to put the copy letter of Adrian's file in the letter box and then goes back into the police station.

Click on the Letter box again and......

Adrian takes the Letter for Dr. Jones from the letter box  and that is the copy of Adrian's police file. Adrian now has a copy of his police report in inventory. Right-click on the "Letter to Jones" envelope in inventory to remove the police report. Then right-click on the Copy of police file to read it.....The most important thing Adrian reads in the report is:

Hotel owner Murray stated that he did not see Adrian, then known as Darren, in the hotel at the time of Amanda Valley's murder. However, Adrian is very sure that this was exactly the time when he was thrown out of the hotel by Murray. The 2nd important fact that Adrian experiences from the report is that Lady Victoria Gordon survived the fire in the castle. Lady Victory was in hospital for 2 weeks, but she is now back home.

So Adrian wants to visit Lady Victoria and also ask Murray why he made a false statement to the cops. Adrian writes down these 2 tasks in his diary and you can read the diary at any time. So between the police station and the cafe there is the local Old Fashioned Shop. Now enter the shop.

Old Fashioned Shop

As soon as Adrian enters the store, he is recognized as a murderer and this frightens an older lady so much that she flees outside in panic. Saleswoman Abaya also looks anxiously at Adrian, but she cannot flee. Before talking to Abaya look at everything you can look at in the shop. At the window. on the left, there is a knife holder with 3 more knives in it. When you look at those knives, causing Adrian to pick up 1 of the knives, Abaya becomes quite nervous and even more afraid of Adrian. On the right of the counter is a container containing walking maps of the area.

View the walking maps and view Abaya. Then talk to Abaya and use all topics, but especially ask her about the Walking Maps

 Adrian just wants to pay decently for a walking map, but Abaya is so afraid of Adrian that she gives him the walking map for free. 

So take a walking map from the tray and.... 

.......you now have a map of the Willow Creek area. You open the map via your "M key" or by right-clicking on it in inventory.

You can travel to the various locations via the map, but a location only becomes available on the map once you have been there once. So if you have to go to a new location for the first time, you will first have to do it on foot. Leave the store via the right side of the screen. Adrian now wants to go to Murray's hotel first to grill that liar. Go back over the bridge at the Pub. You are then back across the river and at Joyce Winterbottom's house. 

Go one screen to the right and you will automatically arrive at the:

Gordon's Palace Hotel:

Enter the hotel. In the lobby Adrian is greeted by Murray and a conversation follows

Murray admits he made a false statement about Adrian to the police. Of course, Murray knows that Adrian was at the hotel at the time of Amanda Valley's murder. At the time Amanda Valley was murdered, Adrian had just discovered the secret passage in Angelina's hotel room and Murray was there. Adrian demands that Murray recant his statement. Murray may be willing to revise his statement in exchange for a photo of Adrian standing in front of Black Mirror Castle with a bloody knife in his hand. Murray gives Adrian an instant photo camera and a Samuel Gordon backpack for this. Adrian also gets the key to room 2, where he can live as long as he wants.

In inventory you have the key to room 2, a "Samuel Gordon backpack" and a Polaroid Camera. Right-click on the backpack in inventory to take out the things. From the backpack Adrian takes a "Samuel Gordon Lighter", a "Bloody Plastic Knife" and a plastic "Soul Key". The "Soul Key" has no batteries. Take a look at everything you can see here in the lobby and then walk to the left. To the left of the counter you will see the double doors to the guest rooms and the office door. Go through the double doors to the hallway with the guest room

At the back of the hallway there is a seating area where guests can sit comfortably and where you cannot go further. On the left are 2 guest rooms. The left door is room 2, Adrian's room. A hotel floor plan hangs on the wall on the right. Check the hotel floormap and Adrian sees that Murray's office is right next to his own room 2. Click with the room key on the room 2 door to enter Adrian's hotel room.

Room 2:

Adrian reports that room 2 is a copy of the room he had in Black Mirror 2 in this hotel. To lighten the weight in his pockets, Adrian immediately puts the backpack and the "Soul Key" in the cupboard under the TV. Examine the wall where the coat rack and table lamp are against. Murray's office is on the other side of the wall.

Leave the room again and in the hallway click with the Exit cursor at the bottom of the screen (To the lobby) to return to the Lobby. You can continue talking to Murray about various topics, but that is only for form and it will not get you anything else. Continue to the right and leave the hotel and then return to Willow Creek via the bottom of the screen.

Through the forest to Black Mirror Castle:

Adrian is then back on the dock at Joyce Winterbottom's house. 

Walk to the left and then further one screen to the left (Road to woods). Adrian is then in the woods on the paved forest road. On the left a forest path goes deeper into the forest, but Adrian has no idea where that path goes. On the right a gravel path goes further into the forest, but Adrian does not want to follow that path either. Now just follow the paved path further up one screen. The road then continues via a bend to the right and on to the castle. On the left is another forest path, which Adrian does not want to follow now. 

So click the Exit "To the Castle", at the top of the paved road, and Adrian will then end up at the entrance gate of:

Black Mirror Castle:

The entrance gate consists of the large gate and, on the right, the small gate (Entrance).

The Intercom is on the right in the small gate. Click on the intercom with your gear cursor.

Adrian reports as Adrian Gordon and says he wishes to speak to his great-grandmother Lady Victoria. The small gate opens and Adrian walks through and is met at the front door of the castle by nurse Valentina Antolini, who is currently caring for Lady Victoria. Antolini takes Adrian inside and in the hall you talk to her through the topics of conversation and then Adrian automatically goes to his great-grandmother Victoria's room.

Lady Victoria is in bed, because the old lady is not doing too well. Adrian is not very comfortable in Lady Victoria's bedroom. Look at Lady Victoria with your eye and then talk to her through your talk cursor and all the conversation topics you get, but only on the topic "Gordon Family" and then the follow-up options, the old Lady answers.

Lady Victoria just wants to know if Adrian set the castle on fire. No matter how many times Adrian says he is innocent...Lady Victoria does not believe him. The old lady doesn't like it that Adrian blames the fire and the murders on his sister Angelina. Grandmama thinks that Adrian should return to the USA as soon as possible because she is convinced that Adrian is already possessed by the curse of the Gordon's and that he cannot resist it enough. Adrian then has a hallucination in which he smothers Victoria with a pillow. 

The old lady then goes into shock and Sister Valentina comes in and she bonjours Adrian out of the castle.

Adrian is standing outside the castle gates again. Now's a good time to take the shot for that bastard Murray. 

So take the Polaroid Camera from inventory and then click with the camera on the large gate and.......

.......Adrian takes a photo of himself while he has the bloody plastic knife in his hand.

In inventory you then have the Polaroid photo (Photo in front of the castle). 

Open the map (m key) and then left click on the map at the "Gordon's Palace Hotel" location to run back there via the map.

Gordon Palace Hotel:

Go back inside and talk to bastard Murray again and use the "Photo in front of Castle" topic to show him the photo. 

Murray tries to "belittle" the photo and Adrian doesn't give him the photo yet. Adrian is only willing to give the photo after Murray retracts his incriminating statement about Adrian at the police station. Murray suggests that Adrian go to his room to rest for a while, while he himself will go to the police station to tell the truth.

So go to the hallway and enter Adrian's room again. Adrian then stands in the doorway of his hotel room. 

There is now an envelope on the floor. 

Someone has slipped a letter under the door into the room. Grab the envelope. 

Adrian takes the letter out of the envelope and then reads it out loud.The letter writer writes that he/she believes in Adrian's innocence and wants to help him prove his innocence. But the writer doesn't want to give his/her name, first Adrian has to prove that he can be trusted. The letter writer will help Adrian with hints and Adrian can find the first hint at his father's grave.

Click the letter away and then go back to the lobby and talk to Murray again and use the "Graveyard" topic. Murray says that there used to be a cemetery behind the hotel, but only Lothar Gordon, the founder of the Sanatorium, was buried there. The rest of the Gordon family lis buried in the Family Crypt, Warmhill Churchyard.  Open the map and travel back to Black Mirror Castle. Adrian arrives back at the entrance gate of the castle. Go back one screen, so click the "To the woods" exit at the bottom left of the screen. Adrian is then back on the forest road, at the unpaved forest path that goes left into the forest.

Now follow this forest path one screen to the left and Adrian will come to a stone bridge over a forest stream. Now continue to the left, the screen will scroll with Adrian. When Adrian comes to 2 fallen tree trunks, a narrow path goes to the right into the forest (Beaten track), but Adrian does not want to enter that forest path. 

So continue here one screen to the left and....Adrian reaches the church of Warmhill:

Warmhill Church and Graveyard:

To the left of the church is the largest part of the graveyard. Also to the right of the church is a field with graves and there is a freshly dug grave with flowers on it. There are also graves in front of the church and one of those graves is the grave of Amanda Valley. Take a look at the freshly dug grave because then you can ask Gravedigger Mark about it later. Enter the church through the front door.

In the foreground are 4 round columns. The rightmost column contains 4 Bible sayings that you should definitely take a look at. The confession booth is on the left wall. Click with your eye cursor on the rightmost column. Adrian then walks to the column and reads the 4 Bible proverbs out loud. Adrian reads: From the book of John, verse 1, lines 15 to 29: "Behold the Lamb of God, who bears the sins of the world.". From the book of Philip 1: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”. From the book of Matthew: “Many are called, but few are chosen.” Psalm 118.6: “The Lord is with me, I have nothing to fear.”  Click twice with your eye on the confession booth and Adrian then walks over to it. Gravedigger Mark is sitting in the confession booth and Adrian shakes him awake. Talk to Mark using all the conversation options you are given.

Mark says that the church was founded by Marcus Gordon. Marcus used stones from the wall of Black Mirror Castle to complete the church. That is also the reason why there is a black burnt spot at the top of the church tower. Marcus was not buried in the tower, but in a crypt under the nave of the church. Unfortunately, the nave of the church completely collapsed 12 years ago. All the other Gordon's were, according to Mark, buried in the family crypt. At the request of Lady Victoria, butler Bates was also buried in the Gordon family crypt. The fresh grave, with the flowers that you saw outside, belongs to Sally, the cook, who also met her involuntary end in Black Mirror 2. Gravedigger Mark no longer knows where Samuel Gorton is buried, because murderers and suicides are not buried in the consecrated ground of the cemetery. Adrian could ask Father Fredrick where Samuel Gordon is buried, but unfortunately he is away at the moment and won't be back until tomorrow. Mark also says that wild boars from the forest keep coming to dig up the graves and that is why he has set traps in the forest for those wild boars.

Once you have discussed everything with the stubborn Mark, Adrian will automatically walk back. Leave the church and go to the graveyard, to the left of the church.It has now become dark. First, look at everything you can see in the graveyard.  At the bottom left are a few anonymous graves (Anonymus graves). Those nameless graves stand in front of the partly fallen fence of the graveyard. 

There are also graves in the center of the screen. Top left is the crypt of the Gordon family (Family crypt) and to the right of the family crypt is a memorial (Large gravestone) with candles burning. At the top right you will see a fence gate. So see everything you can see, but especially check out the anonymous graves, the Family Crypt and the Memorial Stone. Adrian doesn't want to enter the Gordon Family Crypt. The Memorial Stone is the grave of William Gordon, who died in 1981. Adrian is surprised that William has not been buried in the family crypt. The gate, top right, is closed but Adrian thinks that the priest's house can be found on the other side of the gate.

Forest path

When you have viewed everything in the cemetery return to the front of the church via the right side of the screen. When you are back at the frontside of the church Save Your Game, because in a minute Adrain / Darren can die. Then go back into the forest, via the bottom left. Adrian is then back in the forest near the tree trunks and the narrow forest path. Try to walk to the right and Adrian is startled by a sound coming from the bushes. Adrian thinks it's a wild boar. Try to walk to the right again and....Again Adrian is startled by a sound, but this time it clicks like the demonic howling of a dog. Try to walk to the right again and.....Oops....2 bloodthirsty wild dogs now appear, 1 on the left and 1 on the bridge.

If you delay too long Adrian is torn apart and eaten by the dogs and then it is GAME OVER and you have to start over from an earlier save moment. 

So you should not wait, but immediately when the dogs appear. 

Quickly click on the small Forest Path with your action cursor and......

...... Adrian runs up the forest path and further while the 2 bloodhounds chase after him.

 Adrian reaches a forest hut just in time and manages to get to safety in the hut. 

Adrian desperately tries to keep the door of the hut closed and he succeeds. 

Then he notices that the bloodhounds have apparently retreated.

Forest hut:

It is really dark in the hut, so first some light must be provided in the darkness. 

On the right is a bed and above the bed is a shaky table with an oil lamp on it. Look at the bed and look at the oil lamp. 

Then take the lighter from inventory and click it on the oil lamp and Adrian lights the oil lamp and there is light. 

There is then a knock on the door and Adrian goes to look outside through the window and sees the ghost of a young woman wandering through the woods.

Adrian is standing in front of the window and in front of a large wooden box. The box is locked with a padlock. 

Examine the box and examine the padlock. 

After viewing the chest you will get the gear cursor on the chest, but Adrian cannot open the chest. 

To the right of Adrian is "Shredder" and to the left of the "shredder" is a Rake. 

Look at the shredder and the rake and then take the Rake.

If you have not yet examined the bed with your eye, do so. Then click on the bed with your gear cursor and......

Adrian then looks under the bed and reports that there is something under the bed, but that he cannot reach it. 

Take the Rake from inventory and click it on the bed and....with the help of the rake, Adrian will get a shoe box from under the bed

Right-click on the shoe box (Cardboard box) in inventory and......Adrian reports that there is something written on the lid of the box, but he can only read an "R". Then Adrian takes several items out of the box and they are a "Mr. Bubby" doll, a green "Clown" light sticker and a Cork. Adrian recognizes the Mr. Bubby appears as Ralph's doll (see Black Mirror 2). The light sticker and cork were also from Ralph.

A file hangs on the wooden wall, behind the table where the oil lamp is placed. Look at the File and then take the File. There is also a shelf on the wall where the file hung and on that shelf is a Can. Take the can (Can). Adrian thinks it contains thinner or benzene. Move your cursor over the wooden wall to the right and you will get a "strange shadow" as a hotspot. 

Check out that "Strange Shadow" spot with your eye cursor. 

Click on the burning oil lamp with your hand cursor and....Adrian finds a rusty key under the oil lamp.

 That was the shadow on the wall.

 Immediately take the rusty key from inventory and click it on the padlock of the box under the window to open the box now

When Adrian has opened the box, click with your hand cursor in the box and Adrian takes a Cloak and Mask of the Order from the box

In the Mantel, Adrian finds a Letter from the Order, which he reads. The note states that all evidence pointing to the Order must be destroyed. Click the note away and Adrian then takes a Corkscrew, a Folding Ruler and a Chainsaw from the box. The hut also has a back room. Look at the floorboards in the back room. Adrian reports that the floorboards creak quite a bit. Adrian didn't hear those bloodhounds anymore so maybe the coast is clear again. Click with the exit cursor on the door of the hut to leave the hut again....but....unfortunately....the door is locked from the outside and Adrian wonders how in God's name that is possible . So Adrian has to find another way to leave the cabin and perhaps that can be done via those creaking floorboards in the back room.

Take the Ruler from inventory and click it on the floorboards in the back room.

Adrian puts the rule down through a crack in the floor and discovers that there is at least half a meter of space under the hut. The hut is apparently on stilts.  In inventory right-click on the Chainsaw. Adrian reports that the saw's tank is empty. In inventory, combine the can of Petrol with the Chainsaw to fill the saw with the thinner/gasoline. To prevent the saw's tank from emptying again, combine the Cork with the Chainsaw. Now take the Chainsaw from inventory and click with it on the floorboards in the back room and.....

Adrian cuts a hole in the floor. When Adrian is ready, click the Exit on the Hole in the floor and Adrian crawls out through the floor hole.

Outside, Adrian doesn't find any trace of the Hellhounds, but he does get another short vision and.......

Adrian falls unconscious to the ground and we end up in:
