Chapter 1: Paris

Le Lézard Bleu Gallery

We are in the art gallery. The showpiece of the gallery is that "La Malediccio" painting that hangs prominently on the wall. 

Present are Henri Glease, Father Simeon, art critic Hector Laine and ...... George Stobbard and Nico Collard .....

George works for the insurance company that has insured the "La Malediccio" painting and this exhibition and Nico is still working for the newspaper and she is here to write a piece about the exhibition. So it is a complete coincidence that George and Nico bumped into each other again. There is some chatting and then a pizza delivery boy comes in ..... the pizza delivery boy wears a motorcycle helmet and a pizza box .... but the pizza delivery boy does not bring any pizzas ... oh no .... the guy pulls out a gun and under the threat of his gun he pulls the "La Malediccio" painting off the wall ....

Nico doesn't panic and secretly takes a picture with her cell phone of the thief. Unfortunately, Henri Glease is so unwise to prevent the theft, so Henri is shot by the thief. 

The fat Laine faints and the thief / murderer flees and Nico goes after him.

......you now get control of the game and you play this part as George Stobbard. George has his cell phone in inventory.

Click with your magnifying cursor on the corpse of Henri to examine the corpse ...... However....Father Simeon is busy giving Henri his last sacraments and George does not want to force himself on that. George must get the priest out of the way, so go talk to Father Simeon. Father Simeon is a Catholic priest of the Dominican Order and he thinks the murder of Henri is the work of the Devil. The priest then walks away from the corpse and takes a seat on the chair by the table to pray for the soul of the murdered Henri. The fat Laine had fallen down from all his commotion and lies now snoring against the wall. Now that the priest is out of the way, we can examine Henri's corpse.

So click again with your loupe on the corpse and  ... you are now in the close-up of the dead Henri. There is a Crumpled Note under Henri's left hand. You can close Henri's dead eyes by clicking on the Eyes  with your gear cursor. A small bottle of "Eau De Toilette" is inserted into the breast pocket of Henri's vest.

Take the bottle of "Eau De Toilette" ... the bottle contains a strongly smelling perfume of the brand "Bret". Look at the crumpled note, which is under Henri's left hand, with your eye .... George takes the note and sees that it says "2:30 PM be ready". George quickly puts the note back under the hand. Click the arrow, bottom right, to step out of the close-up ..... 

George would like to look into Henri's administration but he must get into the office for that. When the thief / murderer yanked the "La Malediccio" painting off the wall, you could already see that there is an alarm system on the wall behind the painting. Walk to the left and zoom in on the alarm system to see it further ......

The alarm should have sounded when the painting was torn off the wall but that did not happen ..... why not? 

Open the door of the cupboard with your gear cursor and ........ at the top of the cupboard we see that the red wire has been cut ..... view the Cut Wire with your eye ...

 

George concludes that it must have been an "inside job" ..... If you click on the red test button you will hear the alarm through the speaker. 

Get out of the close-up. Try to open the door of the office .... the door is locked and has a code box that requires a numeric code. A camera hangs above the door and George says that the camera's cables go into the private office .... the camera has recorded the theft and George thinks he can view the images in the private office, but then he will first have to open the door.

Walk back to the right. On the table, which stands in front of the window and where Father Simeon is sitting, is the pizza box of the murderer. Click with your gear cursor on the Pizza box ..... George opens the pizza box .... there is still a slice of pizza in the box. Take the slice of pizza  from the box ........ 

George puts the piece of pizza in his pocket and the box falls on the floor. Look at the Pizza box with your eye ....... George decides to leave the box. View, with your magnifying cursor, the snoring Hector Laine ....... In the close-up of the snoring Laine you open the inventory and take out the bottle of Eau de Toilette. Then move the bottle up to Laine's face and then click to spray Laine a hefty blast of the sharp-smelling perfume into his stinky nose and ... 

Laine wakes up and gets up and loses a nail clipper. Before talking to Laine, get the Nail Clippers from the floor. Laine's monogram is on it .....

Go talk to Laine now ..... Laine is a bit hungry and therefore does not want to talk .... he first wants to eat something to calm his nerves. So give Laine the Pizza Slice. Laine eats the slice of pizza and now he wants to talk. So click again with your mouth on Laine ..... after the introductory conversation all your conversation options will appear in the form of icons ....

Click on an icon to talk to Laine about it .... always use all conversation topics in conversations .... you often get new conversation options that you use. So talk to Laine now about everything you can talk to him about .....You ask Laine  for the code for the private door .... Laine claims that he has worked with Henri to organize the exhibition here. Laine knows the code for the private door but he doesn't want to give it to George. As soon as you have asked Laine about the door code, the conversation is abruptly interrupted .... if you want to continue talking with Laine then you must click on him again with your talk cursor ..... you will then receive further and new conversation options ..... So talk to Laine, about the alarm, the stolen painting and all other options ....... George then tries to put Laine under pressure with the idea that Laine knows more about the theft, but Laine does not fall for it. and continues to refuse to give the door code Laine claims that he was not even in Paris in recent days.

When the conversation with Laine is then ended again, take the Nail Clipper from your inventory and click the thing on Laine .....

George then accuses Laine that he may have cut the wire of the alarm with his nail clipper, but here too Laine does not fall for it. Well ..... more pressure must be put on Laine to make him issue the door code. Go talk to priest Simeon and use all the possible conversation options you get ...... the priest has little to say, but you will find that he came to the gallery today especially for that "La Malediccio" painting. ..Simeon thinks it is a work of the devil and he also knows more about the shield of that painting.

"Le Tricolore" cafe

If you have done everything in the gallery for now, go outside through the shop door. On the street you walk to the left, to the "Le Tricolore" cafe on the corner ..... the waiter comes out .... go talk to the waiter and use all the options in this conversation again .... if you ask the waiter about Laine by then you will find that Laine has been hoisting champagne here last night but that he has not paid his bill.

The waiter then gives George the drink bill from Laine ..... 

So...Laine was already here last night and so he lied about where he had been in recent days. Close the conversation.

In inventory you now have Laine's drink bill. Walk back to the right and enter the gallery again. Take the Laine's Drink Bill from inventory and click on Laine and .......

 after some more struggling, Laine now tells George the door code and that is 6397 ..... George immediately tries to open the door but then .... 

..........the police rush in .. ... Inspector Navet and Sergeant Moue have arrived on site .....

Moue is instructed by his boss to stand outside in front of the door and to let nobody in and ...... we are now switching to:

Nico:

You are now Nico, who is coming back from her hunt for the murderer. Moue prevents Nico from entering the gallery. Nicole has her cell phone and her press card in inventory.

Talk to Moue ...... Nico is not allowed inside. Your conversation options will appear .... 

Talk to Moue about everything until you get the "Tiredness" options ..... use this option then and ....we find out that Moue has been on duty for 3 consecutive days and that he desperately wants get some sleep. Nicole tries to respond to this but Moue does not fall for it because he does not dare to leave his post. Nicole then asks if Moue can use a "hot drink" to stay awake. Moue wants a cup of coffee but he does not dare to leave his post. You will get the "Incident" option but Moue does not want to say anything about it. The conversation will then end.

"Le Tricolore" cafe

Perhaps we can get a drink for Moue in the cafe. So walk to the cafè .... the waiter comes out again and tells Nicole that the cafè is closed and he explain why the cafè is closed now and that takes a while ..... The waiter only wants thinkers and philosophers like customer, all other people he regards as plebs and he refuses to serve them. 

Look with your eye at the Drinks Menu, which hangs to the left of the waiter on the façade of the cafe .... the cafe serves coffee and other drinks. However, in order to be able to order a cup of coffee, Nico must convince the waiter that she falls into his category of people he wants to serve, so take the Press Card from inventory and show the card to the waiter ......Nicole works for the newspaper "La Liberte" and that happens to be the favorite newspaper of waiter and....Nicole is "accepted" by the waiter as someone he wants to serve.

So talk to the waiter now and use the Coffee option ..... The cafè only serves 1 type of coffee ... black, hot and strong. The waiter goes to get a cup of coffee and Nicole drinks it. The conversation options reappear but now you can ask for a cup of Takeaway Coffee. So ask for a Takeaway Coffee to take with you and ...... 

the waiter goes back inside and comes back with the "Coffee to Go" cup that Nico puts in her bag. 

Say goodbye to the waiter and run back to Moue and give him the coffee and ..... 

Moue does not dare to accept the coffee because of his "problem" and he now tells about the "incident" that happened to him while serving as a guard of the President. But Nico can be very convincing so she manages to bring Moue to the point that he drinks the coffee and ....... see what coffee does to Moue ..... Moue has to leave his post to "relieve himself" so he runs to the urinary, on the corner, and .... Nico can finally enter the gallery again........

Nico:

Inspector Navet is "not amused" when Nico comes in and a conversation between George and Nico follows. 

George wants Nico inspector Navet to take a moment to "distract him" from George so that George can enter the office unnoticed.

Navet is an arrogant bastard who considers himself to be the best policeman in the world, but in reality Navet is a rather stupid moron. Navet stand at Henri's corpse and is writing things down in his notepad. Behind Navet the pizza box is still on the floor and priest Simeon is still sitting in the chair. The fat Hector Laine is also still standing on the right wall. Go pick up the pizza box ....... Nico places the pizza box back on the table and ..... a blob of tomato ketchup remains on the floor. Zoom in with your magnifying glass on the blob tomato ketchup

In the close-up you see a piece of chewing gum sticking into the tomato ketchup. 

Take Nico's Press card from inventory and use the press card to scrape the gum out of the ketchup. 

In inventory you then have a press card with chewing gum. Get out of the close-up. The stupid Navet has not noticed anything. 

Now go talk to Navet ....... you get a whole bunch of conversation options that you all use. 

Navet is not interested in "technical" evidence. For Navet, only "biological" evidence such as blood counts. If you have talked about everything with Navet, close the conversation screen. Navet is therefore only interested in biological evidence, such as blood. Then let's give Navet some blood. Zoom in again on the blob of tomato ketchup and then click, in the close-up, with your gear cursor and....

Nico steps on the blob to spread it out so that it looks like a big blood stain.

Step out of the close-up again and talk to Navet again and point him to the "bloodstain" via the "Blood Stain" option and ...

.... Navet is going to study the "bloodstain" and so the way is clear for George to secretly enter the office, so we switch over to...

George:

George is now in the office and receives a call from his boss Rickenbacker who wants to know what's going on. 

In the corner, right next of the door, is the CCTV Monitor, on top of the file cabinet. View the CCTV System in close-up ... a code is required to view the recorded camera images. Get out of the close-up .... George tells that he must  look for a 4-digit code. A Calender hangs on the wall above the desk. Between the filing cabinet and the desk the space is crammed with Junk but between all that junk there is also a waste basket with round discs in it

View the Calendar with your eye ... George sees that Henri has written "27th May and Birthday" on the calendar. Click with your grab hand on the Waste Basket and ..... George takes a ruined letter from Henri's credit card company. George reads through the letter and then puts it back in the basket. There is a statue to the right of the desk. View the statue .... it is Henri .... The Henri statue carries a fig leaf for its noble parts .... Click with your gear cursor on the fig leaf Fig Leaf and ....George raises the fig leaf and ..... a drawer opens in the base of the statue ..

Quickly click with your magnifying glass in the opened drawer and .... in the close-up we see that there is a Safe in the drawer ..... however, a key is required to open the safe. Click with your magnifying glass on the desk to view it in close-up. There is a lot of stuff on the desk and you can open the top desk drawer. You can't get anything from the items on the desk right now. Open the desk drawer and then take the Folder out .... George puts the folder on the desk and closes the drawer. Open the Folder ... Documents from the "Vera Security company" are in the folder.

Click on the top sheet to slide this away .... George then reads the letter from the Vera Security. Vera Security was hired to secure the painting, but it is not the firm recommended by George's Company. George stores the letter in inventory. Ok .... would Henri's birthday, May 27, be the code for the CCTV monitor? Let's try it. Zoom in on the  CCTV monitor again. The number Keypad protrude in the lower right corner of the monitor. Click with your magnifying glass on the number buttons to see them enlarged. May is the 5th month of the year and that is 05 ... so the code becomes 2705 .... therefore enter 2705 with the number buttons and ..... Bingo ...

You can now view the recorded camera images on the monitor .... Use the 2 buttons below the floppy disk groove to scroll to the next recording or back to the previous recording ... View all recorded images and listen to what George says about it ... .. In each image you can see thinks in more detail by clicking on it with your eye. You score Achievements with this. 

In the 1st screen you click with your eye on Henri and on the "La Malediccio" painting, which Henri is viewing.

George wonders if Henri is just looking at the painting or worried about it. In the painting George sees a "Snake eating its own tail"

In the second screen we see George and Nico look at the painting, just before the robbery will take place. View Nico and George and view the "La Malediccio" painting again .... George tells again that the most striking detail of the painting is the "Snake eating its own tail." In the 3rd screen no one is viewing the painting ... Click again with your eye on the painting .....

In the 4th screen we see the murderer remove the painting from the wall. View the thief / murderer and view the painting again ...... The thief knew exactly which painting he had to steal. In the 5th screen we see the thief and Henri ..... the thief shoots Henri dead. View Henri and the thief and again the painting .... George wonders why Henri did not step back when the thief pointed his gun at him .... George now sees that a text is written on the thief's helmet, but unfortunately that text cannot be read. On the 6th screen we see the thief / murderer running away but now we see his helmet more clearly .... View the Thief and view the alarm ....... On the thief's helmet George now reads the Logo of " Waterloo Motors ".

On the 7th screen we see that the painting has disappeared ... only the alarm can still be seen ..... view the alarm again. On the 8th screen we see George looking closer at the alarm and on the 9th, and last screen, George stares into the camera lens when you let him view the camera. When  you have viewed all 9 screens on the monitor and you have clicked on each screen with the eye on the various click spots then you close the close-up and ..... Navet comes in and is angry with George ..... You get the option to tell Navet the truth or to lie to him ...

Choose to lie, so click on the "Lies" option ...... you get a rather strange conversation between George and the weird Navet and then your conversation options appear.  Use the "Vera Security" option and then all other options ......For Navet, George is and remains his "Prime Suspect" and George is summoned to leave the office, so George leaves the office. George asks Nico if she wants coffee and then everyone is thrown out of the gallery by Navet. George and Nico will discuss the matter while enjoying a "cup of coffee" on the terrace of the café. So tell Nico everything you've discovered through the conversation options ....

George and Nico then separate ... George is going to f investigate his "leads" further while Nico goes to her flat to write her article about the theft and murder.

The map will then appear on your screen ..... now travel to Vera Security:

Vera Security: George:

George has ended up in a dead end alley of a shopping mall. On the left is the office of "Vera Security", the security agency that has secured the stolen painting. On the right, a boy is trying to sell his things. At that boy (Stallholder) hangs a Neon Sign whose letters blink annoyingly and it also makes an annoying sound. On the ledge, above Vera Security, there is an Electric Box.

Enter the Vera Security .... 

The woman behind the counter is in a state of panic because of a Cockroach crawling on the floor and she doesn't want to talk to George before he removes that cockroach. So try to grab that cockroach .....Zoom in on the cockroach and then try to grab the animal with your gripping hand ..... that of course does not work because the cockroach is simply too fast. George needs a "cockroach trap". So get out of the close-up and go back outside and go talk to that young stable owner, whose name is Bassam ....... However, Bassam doesn't feel like talking because he has a bursting headache ... So it doesn't make much sense now to talk to Bassam about anything and everything because he doesn't answer it anyway. However, ask Bassam about his headache via the "Migraine" topic .....

Bassam says that his headache is caused by the flicker and the sound of the neon sign. Ask further about the neon sign ..... George offers to fix the neon sign so that Bassam gets rid of his headache. Close the conversation. Zoom in on the neon sign with your magnifying glass .... "SALAD DI NDE" the sign reads but the SALAD letters flicker. Below the left letters there is a hole in the board through which you can see the wires .... Loose Wire sticks out of the hole.

Grab that Loose Wire and .... the flickering of the SALAD letters is then stopped. You can swap the letters on the board to rearrange them, but George must first get an idea of ​​the name he has to make with the letters. Get out of the close-up and talk to Bassam again, who is happy that the flickering and the noise have stopped. But Bassam now wants you to rearrange the neon letters on the billboard into a catchy name for his booth. Talk to Bassam about Bassam and you will experience that he wants a catchy name for his stall on the neon board ...... a name that is associated with adventure, treasure and genius. 

Zoom in on the neon sign again and .... the game treats you with some explanation on how to rearrange the letters into a catchy name for Bassam's stand. Click on "Continue" to click the explanation away and then use the letters to create the name ALADDIN on the right-hand side of the board ..... On the left must be SEED and on the right ALADDIN .... you can't swap letters ... you have to use the free pin in the middle

When you are do it right  then you will automatically leave the close-up and Bassam is satisfied. Then talk to Bassam again and ask him about the Cockroach. Bassam suggests to George to catch the cockroach in a trap and he gives George a Rich Tea Biscuit as the bait to put in the trap. You can continue to talk to Bassam about anything and everything if you want, but that is not important now, so close the conversation and re-enter the Vera Security.

There is a radio and a telephone on the counter. The woman has a black book in her hands with which she keeps waving at the cockroach. On the small table, which stands against the right wall, is an ashtray and a cigarette pack. Zoom in on the small table. Click with your gears on the crumpled cigarette pack to slide it away .... a matchbox will appear where matches stick in. Take the Matchbox.....

Open the inventory and then combine the matchbox with the biscuits .....

George takes the matches out of the box and puts a piece of the biscuit in the box ... you keep 3 quarters of the biscuit. Close the inventory and go out of the close-up. Open the inventory again and now take out the remaining part of the biscuit and click with it on the cockroach ...... and ..... You zoom in on the cockroach again and ..... George has crumbled a part of the biscuit and the crumbs are now on the floor. Open the inventory and take the matchbox out and click it on the crumbs to put the box at the crumbs and ......  

............wait patiently until the cockroach has crawled all the way into the matchbox and then quickly click on the matchbox and ........ 

.........the cockroach is caught and George puts the matchbox, containing the cockroach, in his pocket. The woman is grateful to George and she tells her name is Annette. Talk to Annette and ask her about the Gallery. Annette denies that Vera Security was responsible for the gallery's security. Close the conversation screen and open the inventory and take out the Vera Security Completion Note and show the letter to Annette .....

Annette, however, continues to deny and she does not want to answer any more questions about the gallery. Annette has put her black book on the counter, but if you try to grab that Annette's Black Book, she almost gives George a pair of broken fingers. Annette must be distracted. The radio is on because Annette listens to the horse races ....... Maybe George can do something with the radio? But if you try to switch off the radio, Annette screams that you should stay away from it. But George will stand at the radio and that is handy because you have to be fast  .....

Open the inventory and then click on your cell phone and then click on "Vera Security" to call the phone on the counter .......

Annette picks up the phone and she doesn't look at the radio for a moment ... BE QUICK... Click on the radio again to turn the thing off .....

Annette then walks to the radio to turn the thing on again ..... BE QUICK AGAIN ... As soon as you can click again, click on the black book of Annette and .....

George swipes a Photo from the book ... View the photo in inventory ..... 

on the photo we see Annette and Hector Laine ..... Then show the photo to Annette and ...

Annette had a date with Laine and she now tells that she is not allowed to talk about the Gallery ..... click on Annette again and ask her everything about Hector Laine, Gambling and Vera Security ..... tell Annette also that Henri was murdered during the robbery ..... Annette does not know who her boss is and she doesn't has a phone number from her boss. Go back outside and leave the alley and travel, via the map, to Henri's Apartment:

Henri's apartment:

George ends up in the street where Henri's apartment is and he goes straight to the front door. The front door is locked so click on the intercom and ....... not Henri's widow but Hector Laine answers. George is pleasantly surprised that he meets Laine with Hector's widow because he already wanted to ask Hector about his relationship with Annette. So use the talk options until Laine opens the door ..... George threatens Laine to tell the police about his relationship with the Vera Security, via Annette, and that moves Laine to let George in. So go click on the front door and ..... we end up in the apartment of the murdered Henri, where his merry widow lies on the couch. Henri's body is laid out in the coffin

George is "welcomed" by Hector Laine. Your conversation screen opens. Immediately click on the photo of Annette and Laine to confront Laine with his relationship with Annette and then continue talking to him about Annette and the Vera Security. Laine confesses his relationship with Annette but denies that he has anything to do with the robbery at the gallery. According to Laine, the owner of the Vera Security is a Russian and Annette knows who he is.

Laine then disappears and George concludes that he will have to break into the office of Vera Security. The cheerful widow then calls George and George introduces himself to her. Talk to the widow, whose name is Bijou, about Henri, the gallery and about the song she's constantly listening to. The "grieving" widow says she doesn't know anything about the gallery because that was Henri's "baby" and she also has never heard about the Vera Security. When you have asked everything you say goodbye and .... George then walks back to the right and muses about the matter a bit. Leave the apartment and ..... it is now evening and of course George now goes back to:

Vera Security:

So it's evening and so the alley is now deserted and dimly dark. Bassam is gone and has closed his booth. Annette has of course also gone home and lowered the safety shutter. To the left of the door of Vera Security is the "Shutter Control" box to raise and lower the gate. View that "Shutter Control" box ..... George reports that he does not see a button and he suspects that the roller shutter is operated via a remote control. The box is connected by a wire to the Electrical Box that is above the shop window on the ledge. You can try to see if George can lift the gate with his hands, but of course George will not succeed.

George has to climb up to the Electrical Box and he has to do that via the Girder that hangs above the alley. The booth from Bassam is on wheels and is therefore mobile. Click with your gear cursor on Bassam's Booth and ..... George pushes the stall forward a bit. Then click with your gear cursor on the Girder and .....

George climbs onto the booth and jumps up to the Girder and then goes, hand over hand, via the girder to the electrical box. 

George then hangs on the girder at the electrical box ....

click with your gears on the electrical box and ..... George jerks open the flap ... in the box George sees the button to raise the shutter ....... 

So now zoom in on the electrical box ..... you will come close to the box

The rotating fan of the air conditioner and 3 electrical boxes are in the box. The fan is connected to all 3 boxes via the blue wire. At the bottom of the "Danger Electric Shock Risk" box is a switch that can be flipped to 0 or 1 and now stands at 1. Click on the switch to set it to 0 .... the power is then switched off.

Take the Nail Clippers from inventory and cut the blue wire between the Danger box and the fan. Take the Nail clippers from inventory again and cut the blue wire between the "SecuShutters Inc" and the "SecuShutters Safe Key" boxes. Then take the loose Wire, that you have taken from the neon sign,  from inventory and use the wire on the end of the wire that comes out of the "SecuShutters Inc" box to connect that box to the Danger box. Then click the Switch again on 1 and.....

..... the roller shutter slides up and naturally George drops down. So enter through the now available front door.

It seems that Vera Security has ended its business because the phone is gone and Annette's radio has also disappeared. Enter the office through the door behind the counter. It is pitch dark in the office, so George remains standing in the doorway. Right next to George you will find the light switch so click on it with your gear to turn on the light.

On the table is a paper Shredder. Between the table and the scooter you see an Patch of oil on the floor. At the scooter stand an open Box on the floor. Right next to the window, which is closed with a roller shutter, you can see the grille of the Air Vent.

Zoom in on the Shredder. A thick wad of paper is at the top of the shredder. If you click on the green button you will notice that the shredder is not working. Click on the Lid to remove the lid ..... you will see the gear mechanism of the shredder. Click on the Gears ..... the gears are rusted and therefore the shredder does not work.

Get out of the close-up. View the Scooter, the oil drop, the open box and click with your gear on the Air Vent grille..... George reports that there is a notch in the side of the ventilation grille. With the oil drop George could lubricate the gears of the shredder, but then he must have something to scrape up the oil drop. Go back to the counter. On the left wall is a cupboard with a drawer. Open the drawer .... George then tells you that there is a cotton Q-tip in the drawer. Take the cotton swab from the drawer.

Go back to the office and then swipe up the drop of oil with the cotton Q-tip. Zoom in on the shredder again and lubricate the gear mechanism with the cotton swab ...

then click on the green button and again...... the letter is shredded and you automatically end up in:

Letter puzzle:

The game again gives you some explanation on how to puzzle the fragments of the letter together. There is a Paperclip on the top right. First grab the Paperclip, otherwise you can't grab the thing. Then puzzle the letter fragments together in the right way to a readable letter ..... George then reads the name of the man behind Vera Security and that guy is called Medovsky.

Nico's Apartment

Nico:

Nico has a telephone conversation with her editor and then there is a knock. Nico receives a visit from an elderly man. 

Talk to the elderly man and ask him anything you can ask for.

This elderly man is Tiago Marguès and he claims to be the owner of the stolen "La Malediccio" painting. So Tiago is the son of the man we saw being murdered in the prologue, who then barely managed to escape with his mother ...... use all the conversation options you get and listen carefully to what Tiago Marqués all about Nico told. Tiago also shows Nico an old photo of the hacienda that also shows the painting. Tiago knows that Nico has taken photos of the thief / murderer and he asks if he can see the photos. Nico then places her photos on the table.

In the close-up, click with your eye on each of the 4 photos and listen to the comments from Nico and Tiago. In the bottom left photo we see that the thief / murderer has a tattoo on his right arm ..... the tattoo represents a skull. The bottom right photo shows the "La Malediccio" painting and Nico gives the photo to Tiago.

Close the close-up. Tiago has no sleeping place, but coincidentally Nico's neighbors are on vacation. Nico then offers Tiago to spend the night in her neighbors' apartment and we end up in the corridor, in front of Nico's neighbors flat. The flat door is of course locked, so look under the doormat ...... but unfortunately ... the key is also not under the doormat. However, you see a crack between the floorboards. Take Nico's press card from inventory and click it in / on the Floor Crack and ....

Nico picks the key from between the floorboards, thanks to the chewing gum that is still stuck on her press card. Nico then ends up with horny Laine in the office of the gallery. Laine is sitting on the sofa and Nico sees that the folder, the manifest, is stuck under the cushion on which Laine has landed his fat as. Laine wants Nico to sit next to him on the sofa, so click with your cursor on the couch ...

Nico takes a seat next to Laine and we get into the close-up. In the close-up you can see that folder under the cushion where Laine is sitting on. Of course Nico will not be able to get hold of that folder now. So go and talk to Laine about anything and everything and finally ask the horny fat Laine for a glass of Champagne ......

Laine then pours 2 glasses of champagne and both Nico and Hector put their glasses on the back of the couch. Click with your grab hand on Nico's glass and .....

Nico takes her glass in her hand ..... Talk to Laine again and use the Champagne topic again and ........

Nico throws her champagne over Laine who then gets up to wipe himself dry .....

Quickly .... As soon as Laine has risen and you can do it, click with your hand on the folder that sticks out under Laine's pillow and .......

Nico takes the folder and looks inside and sees the photo of the "Malediccio's" painting in it and she reads that the owner of the painting is Medovsky

Nico makes sure she gets away and  she calls her boss in her apartment. From her boss she experiences some things about Medovsky .... and then George enters, who apparently is released by Navet. George and Nico tell each other what they have discovered and when they are done with it, old Tiago comes in, complaining that he cannot sleep in the bed of Nico's neighbors.

The conversation continues and Tiago then, at Nico's request, shows George the old photo. 

View, in the close-up, every detail in the photo that you get the eye on .....

So click with your eye on the "La Malediccio" painting, the man, the woman and the child and listen to the comments of George and Tiago. The man was Tiago's father, who was shot in the prologue. The woman was Tiago's mother and the child  of course is Tiago himself. If you look at the child, George wants proof of old Tiago that he is indeed the child in the photo. Tiago then shows the medallion that his father hung him around his neck when he had to flee the Hacienda .....

So also click with your eye on the medallion ... it is the Ourobouros and Tiago tells more about it ..... and eventually you go out of close-up

Talk to Nico about the Medovsky, the thief, the painting, Vera Security, the tattoo and Waterloo Motors .....

Nico then looks up the telephone number of that "Waterloo Motors", via the Internet, and  she sends the number to George's telephone. Open the inventory and click on George's cell phone and then call that "Waterloo Motors" and then tell the man of "Waterloo Motors" about the helmet and the tattoo of the thief / murderer ...... 

......the man from "Waterloo Motors" then tells who has recently bought such a helmet and George and Nico take the plane to London:
