Chapter 6: Day 3 part one
As Gabriel:
It is 2 o'clock in the night and Gabriel has just been awakened by the night clerk. It is time to see what Larry Chester is planning. So leave the hotel, pick up the Harley and drive to:
Larry Chester, via Blanchefort:
Park the Harley on the C. de Blanchefort parking lot and then walk up again via the right-hand path and to Larry Chester's house. When you arrive at Larry Chester's house, click on the window with the hole on the side of the house, and then click the "Sneak" icon to peek inside.
Larry grabs a shovel and leaves his house through the front door. Gabriel will automatically hide again and you will see Larry walk into a new path behind his house. You can now follow him, but you can also wait until he comes back and then go and see where and what Larry is going to do. We will follow him immediately.
So follow Larry, but keep your distance so that he does not notice you. You come to an open space. Larry is burying something. Gabriel will automatically hide behind a rock.
Larry leaves again, back to his house. Open the Action menu at the location where Larry was digging and then click the "Inspect" icon and ........
You end up at the spot where Larry was digging. In Inventory, select the shovel and then click on it at the excavation site.
Gabe of course does not have the shovel with him and so he quickly returns to the Harley to get the shovel. This takes a moment but then Gabe is back and starts digging. Gabriel finds a Manuscript.
Investigate the manuscript on fingerprints. You will find a print of Larry Chester, right next to the top title.
Gabe really has no desire to read the manuscript, that's a job for Grace.
Go back to the parking lot at Blanchefort and jump on the Harley. Gabriel sees a black sedan coming, but is not quick enough to follow it. Go to
L'Homme Mort:
Mosely's moped is here. Follow the path between the rocks and then further beyond the rock the clearing. Then look to the left. Mosely is digging a hole in the ground.
Click on Mosely and then click the talk icon and ..... Gabe climbs into the pit and shouts "Boooo" ...... Mosely almost gets a heart attack ...... There is a little conversation between Gabe and Mosely ... Then go back to the Harley and race back to the hotel and go to Gabriel's room and ....... This time block ends with a long cut scene........ so look at the exciting cut scene.
Gabe lays down again on the couch. Grace is already asleep in bed. Gabriel has another "nightmare" ... or is it for real?
3 Vampires cut through the throat of a Unicorn and catch the Unicorn blood in a chalice ... 1 of the Vampires drinks the Unicorn blood and ....... then becomes a "Unicorn".
The scene then moves to room 25 where Gabe lies on the couch and Grace in the bed .... through the balcony doors a Vampire floats in .....
The Vampire has no interest in Gabe .... the Vampire wants Virgo blood, so it floats to Grace ...... Gabe tries to get up but he is as paralyzed and can only watch helplessly .....
The Vampire keeps on hovering over Gracie and then he opens her nightgown and gropes and licks Gracie's breasts .....
Helplessly Gabe watches, but then the nightmare is over ...... Gabe is awake and can move again ......
Gabe wants to protect Grace so he creeps into her bed with his "Schattenjäger" medallion to protect her...or.........
well.....It will be morning
As Grace:
Hotel
Grace is awake and Gabe is still asleep in the bed. You can click on Gabe in the bed to hear Grace's comments on Gabe's bed performance of the past night ..... Grace is not very impressed ...... On the table lies the Manuscript of Larry Chester and the key of the Harley.
Zoom in on the manuscript and click on it with the "Read" icon and also with the "Think" icon.
Grace will not put the manuscript in her inventory. Grab the Harley Key .... Grace also wants to ride on such a tough Harley motorcycle. Go up the hall and use the glass to listen to the room doors. Buchelli, Buthane and Mosely are in their rooms. Open your Inventory and you'll see that you have Mosely's room key. Mosely gave his key to Grace yesterday evening.
Mosely's room
So go to Mosely's door. Select Mosely's key and use the key on the keyhole and ...... Grace sneaks in.
Mosely is snoring so do not wake him up. Investigate the room thoroughly. Start with the bed and then the closet. Grace finds nothing special under the bed and the wardrobe is empty because Mose is not someone who keeps his clothes neatly in the closet. In front of the bed Mosely's clothes lie on a pile on the floor ......
Investigate the heap of clothes via the "Move" icon in the Action menu and ....... Gracie then finds a "Coordinate Tracking Device" that she gratefully puts in her pocket.
Leave Mosely's room and go to the hotel lobby. Lady Howard and Estelle are in the Dining Room and you can talk to them. Leave the hotel.
You can now first go up on the Tour Magdala because that is where Abbot Arnoud is staring at "birds" again. Talk to the Abbot and then go to the Museum.
Museum:
The museum is now open so go inside. In the front hall stand a standard with the postcards. Zoom in on the Postcards standard. Grace has to take 3 postcards from the standard and they are the following three cards: 1 card from Poussin and the two Teniers cards. You can find these postcards all three in the rack. Grace will automatically put a 10-franc note in the pot to pay for the postcards. You MUST have these 3 postcards.
Then go talk to Madame Girard, especially about the envelope you found here yesterday.
There is nothing special to do in the museum itself, but you can have Grace view all objects here for additional information and hints.
Leave the museum and go to the Motor Rental. Examine the mopeds and especially the sidecar moped from Lady Howard. On this moped you will find two binoculars.
Take one binoculars with you and click on Harley and you will now see Grace on the map. .....Drive to
L'Emmitage:
Grace must have the Tracking Device from Mosely's room and also she must have the Coordinates of the Center of the Circle.
The Center of the Circle is located here. Grace park the Harley in the parking lot. Follow the path to the cave.
Enter the cave. Just inside the cave a note is stuck on the wall. Grab the note and read it in your inventory.
Go back out of the cave. Grace must now find the exact center of the Circle here. Grace has a piece of paper in her inventory on which she has noted the coordinates of the center of the Circle. Read that note. Then select the Tracking Device and click with it on Grace
The Tracking Device screen will appear at the top of the screen. At the top of the screen you see the map and at the bottom of this screen you see the Latitude and Longitude. Do not touch that. What you have to do now is to have Grace walk around here. You then see that the indications for the latitude and longitude coordinates on the screen change. So Grace has to find the exact center of the Circle here. This place is close to the entrance of the cave. So walk back to the entrance of the cave and then move Grace in front of the entrance, with small steps back and forth until she finds the exact spot. The right place is right in front of the board
Grace will tell you that you've found the right spot and she marks the spot with an X in the sand.
When Grace has created the X in the sand then elect the Shovel in your inventory. Click with the Shovel on the X.
Grace will pick up the shovel from the Harley and she starts to dig but she gives up quickly. This is useless. It is better to first solve the rest of the "Le Serpent Rouge" puzzles. Before you leave this area, you can click with the St. Anthony and St. Paul postcard on the rocks, to the left of the cave. Grace then compares them. Go back to the Harley and drive back to Rennes-Le-Château and, after Grace has parked the Harley back in the courtyard, enter the hotel again and back to room 25.
Hotel
Sidney: Le Serpent Rouge riddle 7: Leo:
Start Sidney on and click ADD DATA. Scan the three postcards that you have bought Gracie in the museum. Then choose Search and search for Solomon and especially follow the yellow hyperlinks, especially the link Temple Diagram and The Seal of Solomon.
Sidney finds nothing about a Temple Diagram so it tries to make contact with another computer, but the link is down. Grace will therefore have to be patient for this. Grace now continues with Le Serpent Rouge. In inventory read , the "Leo" riddle of "Le Serpent Rouge" again and also use the "Think" icon again for a hint of Grace.
Close the inventory again and in Sidney click Open File and in the list click on POUSSIN. When this postcard is on the screen then press START ANALYSIS and .......... Sidney goes back to work and reports that there is a Hidden Figure on this card and a piece of coded text. Click OK. Then go to GRAPHICS at the top and click VIEW GEOMETRY and ........ Sidney now finds a HEXAGRAM in this postcard. A Hexagram consists of two triangles intertwined. Click OK, go back to GRAPHICS and now choose ZOOM & CLARIFY. Sidney zooms in on part of the map and finds the following: "ET IN ARCADIA EGO".
Save it by clicking Yes and then OK. Now open, via OPEN FILE, the Tennier_2 card (Tennier_1 does not reveal anything) Run the ANALYSIS again and then GRAPHICS and VIEW GEOMETRY and then ZOOM & CLARIFY and ........ Sidney finds the TILTED SQUARE and says that there should be more lines. Do ZOOM & CLARIFY again ........... Sidney asks if he may go to the Internet to download a Bible text .......
So say Yes and ... Grace obtains the manual for the TEMPLE or SOLOMON.
Now open the map again. Grace has to put another line on the map and one that line runs from the middle of the circle, and that is L'Ermitage, to Pousin's Tomb. Click, on the right-hand map, the middle of the circle so that you see L'Ermitage on the left map. Then go to MAP and ENTER POINTS and then place a dot on the left-hand map on the gray point at L'Ermitage. Then, in the right-hand map, click somewhere above the circle and at the height of Ch. Serras ... On the left map you see Pousin's Tomb. Click there on the black dot to put a green dot there.
Once you have marked both these points, click START ANALYSIS again and Sidney draws a black line between these two points.
Well ..... that was a lot of work and Gracie wants to stretch the her legs again. So Exit from Sidney ........ Before we continue with the next part of "Le Serpent Rouge" we can first talk to some people. In the Dining Room you can talk to Mosely and Buchelli for a bit, via the "talk icon" in the Action menu ....... Grace does not have to discuss with the two gentlemen, but it gives you points.
Leave the hotel and jump on the Harley up and drive to L'Homme Mort. When Grace has parked the Harley, follow the route to the pit that Mosely was digging ...
The lovely Madeline is now digging in Mosely's hole.
Talk to bitch Madeline, who is now pretty pissed at Mosely. Madeline would like to have a strong conversation with Mosely. Grace couldn't care less whether Madeline is pissed off so walk back to the Harley and drive back to the hotel. Talk in the dining room with Mosely again and tell him about your conversation with Madeline. Go back to your room and start Sidney again:
Le Serpent Rouge riddle 8: Virgo:
First read the "Virgo" riddle of "Le Serpent Rouge" again.
Then close your inventory again and click right mouse and then HINTS. Grace gives a few hints. Then search in Sidney, via the Search button, the following terms: St. Vincent; Temple of Solomom and Temple of Solomon and Floorplan. Also follow all hyperlinks. Sidney can not find the Floorplan and will send an email as soon as it can go on-line again
Open the Map again because Grace has to put the walls of the temple on the map....... 4 points on the map are needed for this. Number the VERTICAL lines of the "chessboard" now, from left to right, as 1 to 9. So including the blue outline lines of the square. Then, on the right map and at the top of the circle, click on line 4 and on the left map you put a green dot at the intersection of the horizontal blue line with the gray vertical line, left of Ch.De Serras.
Then, on the right-hand map and at the top of the circle, click on line 6 and in the left-hand map you place a green dot at the intersection of the horizontal blue line with the gray vertical line, to the right of the dotted line. Now go to the bottom of the drawing on the right map and then also click on lines 4 and 6 and then place a green dot on the intersection of lines 4 and 6 with the square. Click again START ANALYSIS and Sidney now draws the lines 4 and 6 lines BLACK and thus has made an elongated rectangle.
Grace will say that this corresponds exactly to the area that she has seen have on the seismological map of Wilkes has seen, at the end of day 2
Le Serpent Rouge riddle 9: Libra:
We continue with Libra. First read "Libra" again and ask Hints.
Then, in Sidney, do a Search on the words: Soul; Hexagram and Seal and follow the hyperlinks again. Then load the Map on the screen and go to GRAPHICS and choose USE SHAPE. Then choose the HEXAGRAM in the black rollout screen. That is that 6-pointed star.
The Hexagram will then appear on the right map. Now you have to enlarge and rotate this star. Enlarge until it fits exactly in the circle, so the points of the star should touch the circle.
Then you have to turn the star, with the red pivot arrows, until the star "falls" in the right spot in the circle. Grace will shout with joy if you succeed ...
One "Arm" of the Hexagram will fall on the cutting line with the Sunrise Line and the other "Arm" will fall on the Poussin Tombe / L'Ermitage line. Grace types it in and prints the coordinates and this time block is now over.

Bye Bye Wilkes
This time block start with a video. Grace is behind Sidney to type in the just found coordinates. Gabriel wakes up and put on his clothes .
Mosely enters and there is a discussion about Larry Chester's manuscript, which in reality is called Larry Sinclair. In the corridor, Gabe and Mosely argue about the nightly events.
During this conversation you will see Jean and Roxanne enter Wilkes's room.
After the conversation with Mosely has ended you walk to Wilkes room door and ....... Of course Gabe will eaves drop and he hear what Jean and Roxanne say to each other.
You can also wait until Jean and Roxanne come out of Wilkes room again. However, if you enter Wilkes's room you will be thrown by Jean and Roxanne. Wait until Jean and Roxanne come out of Wilkes's room again. Jean goes downstairs and Roxanne enters the storage room. So walk to the storage room and go in there and talk to Roxanne ... Ask Roxanne about Wilkes and ........
Gabe manages to persuade Roxanne to let him into Wilkes's room ...... In Wilkes's room you examine everything again, even in the bathroom, but you will not find anything special. So leave Wilkes's room again. Wilkes seems to have disappeared. Knock on Mosely's door and talk to him about Grace in his room. Then go to the Lobby and ask Jean about the disappeared Wilkes. Leave the hotel, pick up the Harley and drive to:
L'Homme Mort:
Follow the path again to the clearing where Mosely and Madeline were digging earlier. Search for footprints in the sand and click on it with your magnifying glass and then with your mouth or light. The path that you do couldn't enter earlier is now "open" and Gabe continues and finds the body of Wilkes
Research the corpse and especially the wounds. Gabriel finds a letter and reads it.
Behind the rock, Gabe finds another large pool of blood. Examine the blood pool. You will also find knee prints again. Also examine the knee prints again.
When you're done, head back to the Harley and drive to the Lady Howard / Estelle Site. Howard and Estelle are on their site, digging a hole .... Estelle does the heavy work, as usual. Talk to Howard.
Find the way back to the Harley and race to
Poussin's Tomb:
Climb the hill, behind the Harley and ..... we find Emilio meditating here. Talk to Emilio for a moment. On the other side you see the Poussin's Tomb on the hill.
Go down the hill again, jump on the Harley again and drive back to your
Hotel
Go to your room and click the Open arrow on your door and .......
Mosely comes from Gabriel's room and he has a rolled up newspaper under his arm and disappears into his own room.
Madeline then goes through the hallway and she too disappears into Mosely's room
Enter Gabe's room. Grace is taking a shower. Look at the table at the bank and notice that the Manuscript has disappeared.
Now enter all fingerprints and license plates that you have obtained in Sidney. Then pick up the Harley again and go to:
Larry Chester's house:
Drive straight to the house. Knock on the door and Larry opens and Gabe goes inside. Talk to Larry and use all options.
Talk especially about the manuscript and about Mr. Montreaux. When you're done, you leave the house, click on the bike and go back to the hotel. You hear the clock ticking again.
Hotel:
Go up the stairs to the floor. Click on Gabe's door and .......... Madeline comes out Mosely's room and she also has a rolled up newspaper under her arm (the disappeared Manuscript?)
When Madeline walks to her room, follow her with the camera. When she passes Buchelli's door she is approached by Buchelli. Buchelli is very interested in the rolled up newspaper, Enter Gabe's room and talk to Grace, who is behind Sidney again Talk about all options out but keep the Wilkes option as the very last.
Gabe then hears a car arrive and looks out the window who has arrived ....... It is Prince James. Gabe gets in a panic state because the Manuscript is gone and he does not dare to face Prince James now. Gabe wants to disappear and also he want to talk to Mosely. Grace asks if she can have the Harley and reluctantly gives Gabe the Harley key to Grace ......... This time block ends here:
