2019: Walkthrough by: Louis Koot

If you have found this walkthrough via google search or via another site then you have  probably not visited my site.

A lot more very detailed game walkthroughs can be found on my site at:  www.pcgameswalkthroughs.nl

NB: The screenshots in this walkthrough are made when I did the Dutch walkthrough, back in 2016. Now in 2019 I do not have the game anymore, so I can't do new screenshots with English text on them for this English walkthrough. De url www.louiskoot.nl on the screenshots is the url / domain witch I had until the end of 2016.

Goetia is a soft horror point and click game. You play as the spirit of the deceased 12 year old girl Abigail Blackwood. More than a century ago you died and now you have "awoken" and you go looking for answers to what happened in your parental home, Blackwood Mansion. The game is point and click, so completely mouse-controlled

But Goetia is not a standard adventure game ....... You do not have an inventory because you are immaterial, so you can not hold and carry anything with you. But you can take items "in possession" ..... in the game that is called "possession". When you take an item "in possession" then you become that item and you can then "take it" to the place where you have to use it. You also can not save in the game ..... the game saves, and remember, your progress every time you exit the game. So there is no "LOAD" function ... you always continue the game  from where you left off. In the options screen you can set some things, such as the resolution, according to your own preference.

The game starts with:

Chapter 1: Blackwood Manor:

A: The Awakening: Outside the house:

The game starts with a short video in which a few things are explained, via text that appear on your screen.

You will first receive a message that tells you that sound will play an important role in solving a number of puzzles in the game

After this message you end up in a rather dark environment and you'll find out who you are.

You are at  a bare tree and a gravestone .... a little circle of Light appears  and ..... well .... read the texts in the little screens..

When you have read a text then .... click in the text screen to make it disappear, to get the next text screen.

Well.....that little light circle is who you are and you move as that circle of light through the game ..... So you are / were a girl and your name is / was Abigail.

When you have had all the text screens then the game comes with a message about Abigail's Journal and how you can open it .....

The J-key of your keyboard opens, and closes, the Journal of Abigail. So press your J key to view the journal now, so that you know how this works

Press the J key again to close the journal. The game works with an "Action menu" and how this works I'll explain first now.

At "hotspots" your cursor becomes a Question Mark ...... Try it out on the gravestone .....

Left click with your question mark cursor on the gravestone and ..... The "Action menu" appears .....

The "action menu" is a circle with, in most cases, the 3 options for "Look at", "Action" and "Possession". Now you can only "Look at"  the gravestone  through the "Eye". So click the "Eye" in the "Action menu" and ....... Abigail reads the inscription that's on the gravestone and now she knows who she is and that she's dead ......

So......now you know to........ you are Abigail and you were born in 1890 and died in 1902 ..... So you are 12 years old and have been dead for more than 100 years.

This grave is your grave and you wonder why you have suddenly "awoken", 100 years after you have died.  You move Abigail, the small circle of light, across the screen by moving your mouse back and forth and up and down.  At the edges of the screens you, usually, get a white arrow to go screens to the left, right, up or down.

If you try to move a screen to the left now, then Abigail tells you that she does not want to do that now ... there is the village there and Abigail thinks she can not go there now ... Let's face it......Abigail is a ghost, so she has no body and she does not want to scare the villagers. Move Abigail a screen to the right now. You end up at a column with a statue on it. A Hexagonal hole protrudes into the column ....... Click with your question mark on the column ..... Abigail thinks something has been removed from the column

Click away the text screen and ...... the game will treat you with the message that you can make all "hotspots" in a screen visible by pressing your CTRL-key .....

.......when you press your CTRL-key a magnifying glass will appear on the "hotspots" to highlight them

To the right is the entrance gate of Blackwood Manor, the parental home of Abigail. So float to the entrance gate. The gate is closed.

Left click the gate to bring out the "Action menu". In the Action menu you also get the action icon, with which you can open the gate

You can click the action icon to open the gate, then you have practiced this. But hey ..... you are a ghost, so you can also just float through the fence ....So float  through the fence to the right and ..... you end up in the garden of your parental home, Blackwood Manor ..... Here you were born and here you died too.

The game now also tells you about the Map ...... You open the map by pressing your TAB key

So press your TAB key to make the map appear ...... This is the floor plan of the garden and the forest. The map now only shows you the screens you came from. Via the map you can quickly go from one place to another place. You still have to find the floor plan of the house, but that will happen soon. Press TAB again to store the floor plan.

Float on to the right, to the front door ...... You can view the illuminated window to hear Abigail's comments about it. You can also float up to the balcony.

You get the white arrow on the front door, so click to go in ..... Abigail hesitates first, but click again 1 or 2 times and ........

........Abigail flies through the massive front door into the house .....

B: Inside Blackwood Manor:

You have ended up in the long Hall of the ground floor. A staircase leads up to the 1st floor, but as Abigail you do not have to walk up the stairs ...

.......you can just float up, but do not do that yet. So this is the staircase at the front door of the house.

Next to the staircase is a low cabinet with 2 doors. Open the action menu on the right door of the cabinet and then click the action icon to open the right door ........ There is a document in the cabinet and there is "Fumes" coming from that document Click with you question mark on the document ...... Abigail tells you that it is a Map / Floor Plan of the house

Open the "Action menu" on the document and then click the action icon and .....

You take the floor plan of the house out of the cabinet and you get it big in your screen

On the map you can see, almost, all the rooms and corridors in this house. Hall is where you are now. You see that the rooms are indicated in various colors .... orange, red, blue, yellow and brown. At the moment I have no idea what those different color markings mean and whether you can travel quickly from one room to another via this map. Click the map away by clicking on the white cross ....... The game will give you a message about the CODEX and that you open this CODEX via the C-key of your keyboard.

So press your C-key to open the CODEX ...... Well ...... I told you that you do not have an inventory ...... that's not entirely true .... This CODEX is a sort of inventory because it stores every letter, poster, book and documents you find and read. Also the House Map is now stored in your CODEX ........ But the CODEX has several functions and I explain that when it will become important to know

Close the CODEX by again pushing the C-key.

Float further to the right and as you do so you can view various objects by clicking on them with your question mark cursor and then hearing Abigail's comments about them. There is a narrow cupboard with porcelain and some deer heads hang on the wall. Go  a screen to the right ...... The hall continues. There is a cupboard and a chair and further on is a sofa under a painting. Beneath the floor is the basement but Abigail can not go through the floor here ..... Demons have blocked the floor here with blue runes and Abigail does not yet know how to circumvent them .... You get a blue arrow here , indicating that you can not go through the floor here.

To the left of the chair there is a hole in the paneling of the wall ..... look at that wall hole and remember it. Also check out the cupboard .... the cupboard contains a small part of your father's mineral collection. View the sofa and view the painting ..... The painting shows the house Blackwood Manor in the mist and it gives Abigail a "unheimic" feeling. Move Abigail further to the right ..... To the right of the sofa is a small table with a candlestick and a book ..... look at the book .... it is the "Frankenstein" book by author Mary Shelley and it is the property of one Alexander Hodgkin ... that name means nothing to Abigail.

The hall also ends here, because on the right is the door of the office of Abigail's father.

Abigail does not dare to enter her father's office now because what if he is inside? Would daddy be able to see you then? And what will he do if he recognizes you? .... Abigail decides to do some more research first, so float up to the 1st floor. You then float into the corridor on the 1st floor of the large hall. The door is closed by a gate. On the left is a bookcase niche with curtains and there is a table with a chair. A paper is given of "fumes" on the table.

Past the small table is a small box on the wall ..... there is a book on that cabinet. Items that gives of where "Fumes", such as papers, documents and books, are important and you must always look at them and take them ...... these items are then copied by Abigail and stored in the CODEX so you can always view them again and read them. Float to the table and then open the "Action menu" on the paper and then click the action icon to view the paper .....There are a number of symbols drawn on the paper.

Click the paper away via the cross at the top right ... The paper is copied in your CODEX. Float  to the small cabinet where the book is on. There is also a men's hat on the cabinet and a walking stick leans against it. Above the cabinet there is a clock .... Watch the clock ..... the clock has stopped, like all the other clocks in the house. Look at the book, through the eye of the "Action menu "......

It is the "Alice in Wonderland" book and Abigail wonders how this book has ended up in her mother's library. Open the "Action menu" again on the book and then click the action icon ......... Abigail now finds a note in the book ...... Abigail recognizes the handwriting. The note was written when she was a smaller child ...... Click away Abigail's comment and ..... Now you get the book and the note close-up in your screen.

Read the note ..... The note is addressed to Edward ..... you read about the laboratory of daddy and about a powder with which invisible writing can be made visible

Click the close button, top right ... This note also comes in your Codex. Abigail can not float through the ceiling because that route is blocked by yellow runes .....

Go to the right .... you come to an open door but because of the blue runes you can not go any further.

Your 1st "Possession"

There is a "key box" on the wall here and there is a narrow cupboard to the left of the "key box".

Open the "Action menu" on the "Key box" and then open it via the action icon.

There is a small statue in the key box ... Look at the statue .......

this statue is the Virgin Mary and Abigail asks why such a holy figure is locked up in a cupboard. The statue turns white when you click away Abigail's thoughts ..... If an item turns white then Abigail can take it "In Possession" .Open the "Action menu" again on the statue and see .... the "Possession-icon" is now available ..... If you click this icon then Abigail disappears into the item and she then is the item and you can walk / float around with it

Now click with the "possession-icon" on the statue and ...... Abigail becomes the statue and the game gives you an explanation of this "Possession" phenomenon.

You will now moving Abigail around as the Virgin Mary statue ... However .....When Abigail is in "Possession" you can not go through walls, ceilings and floors. .

Move the statue out of the cupboard and see .... Virgin Mary hid a button in the wall of the cupboard .....

Open the "Action menu" on the button and then click the "action icon" to press the button and ........

At the bottom of the narrow cupboard, the door opens and there are steaming documents in that cupboard.

Move the Virgin Mary figurine back into the hanging Key cupboard and press your right mouse button to put Mary back into the Key cupboard.

NB: You can also stay as the Virgin Mary if you find it more convenient than the light circle. You can also just drop the statue Mary on the floor by pressing your right mouse button ... or put it somewhere else .... In all cases, Abigail crawls out the statue again and you are again the light circle.

View the documents in the cupboard and click on them with the action icon to read them ......

Abigail then finds the death certificate of her father between the documents ....

Daddy died in 1939 at the ages of 76 years ........ the documents are stored in the CODEX ........ Read Abigail's thoughts .....

Now that Abigail knows that her father is dead too, she may dare to enter his office .... You can not go up through the ceiling because that is protected by blue runes and you can not go through the open door. So go back down and ....... Abigail will be in her father's office.

A Book is lying on the floor in front of the bookcase. To the right of the bookcase stand daddy's desk. Read the Book with the action icon of the action menu

The book tells the story of  Icarus on 2 pages ...... when you have finished reading you click the close button. This story is also saved in your CODEX.

Float to the desk. Above the desk there is a small glass door cabinet with books in it. There is also a book on the desk .......read the book that's on the desk ......... It is a diary, but Abigail does not recognize the handwriting ....... Read the 2 pages and also take note of the symbols on the right page ....... Through the white arrow you can browse to the following pages ......... This also disappears to the CODEX.

On top of the hanging cabinet stand a horse statue. A letter is hanging on the wall underneath the cabinet. View the horse statue ...... Abigail can not remember this horse statue. Read the note that is hanging underneath the cabinet ...... It is a rather threatening note to Mother ... is it written by Abigail? ...... The note goes to the CODEX.

Open the action menu on the glass door wall cupboard ...... all 3 icons are active on the cupboard. View the cupboard first with the eye icon. 1 of the books that Abigail sees in the cupboard she finds important. Try to open the cupboard via the action icon, but it won't work ..... Abigail needs something with which she can open this cupboard

To the right the door is open ..... Go through the opened door and ...... You end up in the next part of the hall ...... Here another flight of stairs goes up

NB: By now you must know how it works in the game, so how you can look at and read things through the Action menu and open the doors and that Abigail  can" possess" items through the "possession-icon".

Under the stairs you see a cupboard ..... the bottom part of the cupboard has 2 doors. On the bottom shelf of the cupboard stand a small box. Look at the box ....... Abigail tells that there's white powder in the box. You can now take the box "in possession" but do not do it yet ...... The doors of the cupboard can not be opened. Beyond the stairs, to the right,  is a chair and a stand with an inkwell and a feather pen ...... float to it and then look at the feather pen

You can now only view the feather pen, but remember that the Feather Pen is here.

You can also go down through the floor here, but do not do this now. Continue through the open door and ......

Demon Malphas:

We end up in the dining room ..... It gets dark for a moment and then there are birds feathers down and .......

.......Abigail floats up to the upper corridor and ...... Oops ...... a huge BIRD makes his entrance ....... This is MALPHAS and he is a Demon .....

An extensive conversation between Malphas and Abigail follows ........ I am not going to write this out for you ..... Read the texts in the small screens and click them away to keep going and. .... eventually the conversation comes to an end and bird Malphas retreats ..... but he remains present ...... Malphas needs Abigail to get his "normal" form back, and all this is noted in Abigail's journal, so you can read the most important part of this conversation in the journal, via the J-key ...... Your Codex now contains all letters / documents that you have found until now .....

Go back down to the Dining Room

There are portraits on the wall. To the left is the hatch of a service elevator and at the hatch is the elevator button. The elevator connects this dining room with the kitchen, beneath the dining room. Open the action menu on the elevator button and then click the action icon to get the elevator up here ..... the hatch will then open. Float back to the previous hall with the stairs and the bookcase.

In the cupboard is the box whit white powder. If you have not yet viewed this box then you do this now ..... you can then take the box "in possession" so do this now, so click with the "possession-icon"  on the box and ..... Abigail will be the box, so your cursor is now the box. Float, as a box,  back to the dining room and float to the service lift ...... Right  click to place the box in the elevator ..... Abigail "creeps" out of the box and is again the light circle.

Look at all the portraits, 1 by 1, hanging on the wall behind the long dining table. Click on each portrait with the action cursor. You read the names and the birth year and age of the depicted person. From left to right these are:

Robert Hodgkin, 1949, turned 14 years old.

Gabriel Hodgkin, February 1939  a separate piece of paper tells that he was 31 years old.

Annie Hodgkin, November 1940 but no age mentioned. Annie was Abigail's sister.

Alexander Hodgkin, August 1939, on separate paper is 28 years old.

Edward Hodgkin, 1940, 10 years old.

Above the fireplace is the portrait of Mrs. Ward, the housekeeper of the Hodgkin family ....

All this is also stored in the CODEX. In addition to Mrs. Ward hangs a painting of a tower ruin, which must stand somewhere in the forest. The chair that stands by the fire was the favorite chair of daddy.

The floor by the fireplace is impenetrable so continue to the right ..... Abigail arrives in the

Raven room :

You can not go up through the ceiling here again. Behind the door stand a mirror cabinet ..... there are 3 Raven on top of the mirror cabinet and a coat hangs on the coat rack. The right door brings you outside, behind the house. Under the chandelier stand a somewhat bare desk with books, a box and a bird statue. You can view the mirror cabinet and the coat but it is not Abigail's taste.

Float on to the desk. The left book is a notebook ... You can view, read and take possession of it. Click with the action icon on the notebook, there are pages missing from the book. Perhaps those missing pages are still to be found ..... You get the notebook in your screen and indeed, it's a empty booklet ..... But it is stored in the CODEX. View the box and use the action icon on it ....... the box has a code lock ..... a word of 4 letters must be filled in and it isn't "DOTS"

Go back to the left and through the door back to the dining room. Float to the left and then, at the dining table, now go down through the floor and ... you end up in the

 Kitchen.

In front of the fireplace there is a pile of Letter fragments on the floor. Open the action menu on those fragments and then click the action icon and ...... well .... your first real puzzle .....

Put the letter fragments together to form a complete letter.

The fragment at the bottom right is already fixed ..... that fragment can't be picked up .... it is your starting point where you need to click on the next fragment and then so on..... Click on a fragment and then hold down your mouse button and then drag the fragment and then puzzle the fragments together ....

This letter is the start of the "Paper Chase" challenge and when you solve this "Paper Chase" completely you will not only earn an achievement, but it is also necessary to be able to continue in the game. Unfortunately, this Letter Fragment puzzle is rather difficult because you have to click the pieces together very precisely ...... A fragment is good if you can not pick it up anymore and can't shift it. If you do it right then you will see the Journal icon briefly flashing at the top left

This Letter  is the first note in the "Paper Chase" but you only "score" the letter when you have put the fragments very precisely together and you then see the journal icon at the top left. The game is very precise here. You can read the letter, but if you do not see the journal icon, you have not scored the note and you can not do the "Paper Chase"

When you have clicked all the fragment together in the right way then you see,  at the top left,  the journal icon flashing, as a sign that Abigail has scored this letter in her journal. When you don't see the Journal icon appear then you have not yet put together the letter fragments correctly .... 1, or more, pieces are not yet solid and you can still shift them

This complete letter tells about a "paper chase" and that the first hint is "Charriot".

If you have put together the letter fragments correctly put together, then they will stay together if you click on the letter pieces that lie in front of the fireplace. But when they are still loose fragments then the letter is not put together in the correct way and you will have to try this again. Read in your Journal  about the "Treasure Hunt" ....... with which the "Paper Chase" is meant ..... If this is not in the Journal then you have not put the letter fragments together in the correct way

At the fireplace you see the service elevator and there is a hanging cupboard on the wall. Click with the action icon on the elevator button and ......

...... the service elevator comes down and brings the box with white powder to the kitchen.

Leave the box in the service elevator for a moment. Float to the left. Between the two hanging cabinets a sheet of paper sticks to the wall ..... view that sheet of paper ...

........the paper is blank and Abigail finds it strange that there is a blank sheet of paper hanging on the wall. .... In the "Alice in Wonderland" book Abigail found a letter from Robert to Edward in which Robert writes about a white powder with which invisible ink can be made visible, you can check this in your CODEX. So float back to the service elevator and now take "possession" of the white powder box ...

..... float back to the blank paper as the box ...... open the Action menu and click the eye icon and ..... click away Abigail's text and .....

.....the white powder makes the text visible on the paper and Abigail reads "The eldest's birth" .......

Right click to leave the box ..... the box falls on the table ...... you could have put it back in the elevator or somewhere else. Float to the left ..... behind the kitchen stairs is the kitchen door. Look at the kitchen door with your action eye and then try to open the door with the action icon ..... o ..... a code lock .....

a 4-digit code is required to open this kitchen door ...... What code? .......

The invisible text says "The eldest's birth" ...... In the dining room you have seen the portraits of Annie Hodgkins and her 4 sons and on those portraits you saw their birth years and most of them also gave you their age at the time of there death.

Well .... the eldest son of Annie is Gabriel and he was 31 when he died ...... the portraits were all made in 1939, so do the math:  1939-31 = 1908 ...... so the code you have to enter here is 1908 ..... and ...... the door opens.

So glide through the door a screen to the left ..... Abigail arrives at 4 stone pillars ..... from each pillar a beam of light goes up.

On each pillar there is a letter, from left to right these are the letters A, G, E and R. View 1 of the pillars with your eye .

... the letters are the first letters of the names of the 4 sons of Annie, Alexander, Gabriel, Edward and Robert. Against the A-pillar, a document leans .... read the document via the action icon ..... it is a note from Annie to her son Alexander and it is saved in your CODEX again

Abigail tells us something and some rubble comes falling down .... Then Abigail hears the sound of glass that breaks ... the sound comes from the hall. Go back to the kitchen and then back up to the dining room. Back in the dining room you go to the right and, at the fireplace, through the open door to the end hall with the mirror cabinet and the desk. On the desk is the box with the bird statue on top ... Is the bird an Eagle or a Falcon? To open the box a word of 4 letters must be put in the lock ..... Which word?

Now go back to the left, to the Office of daddy. Above the desk hangs that hanging cabinet .......

in the cabinet are books and Abigail has said she wants to read 1 of those books

However.....the hanging cabinet is locked .... Open the action menu on this cabinet and click the "possession icon" and ...... nothing ...... Abigail can not enter the cabinet and she can't open it ...... what now? Go back to the left, to the beginning of the hall ...... Between the shields and the deer heads, hanging here on the wall, stand the narrow cupboard with some porcelain that is damaged ..... 1 of the porcelain objects has fallen into pieces on the floor ... that was the sound that Abigail heard from the 4 pillars ..... View those crockery shards ....

Abigail then says that there is something of interest in the cupboard ........ In the 2nd shelf, of the upper part of the cupboard,  is an object ...... View that object ...... it is a hexagonal object .... a Hexagonal ....... and Abigail suspects that it fits in the 6-angular hole of the column that is outside the house ....... Take "possession" of this object ......

Then slide, as the Hexagonal object, to the left and then click with your question mark on the door next to the stairs and see the door, but the front door is now locked/ What now ? .....

Go back to the right and back through the door to the hall with the display cabinet and the sofa ..... To the left of the display cabinet there is that hole in the paneling of the wall. View it hole again with your eye ....... Now Abigail says that the hole leads somewhere ..... Now you can go through the hole, so click away the text screen and click with your "crosshair" in the hole and .......

Abigail flies into the hole and .......she end up in a ventilation duct ....Move Abigail through the ventilation channel to the left, down, to the left and then click the arrow to get outside

Abigail thus arrives back outside, in the front yard at the front door and the opening in the wall is closed. Float to the left and through the fence and then continue to the pillar where the Hexagonal hole is in.  Open the action menu on the hole and then click the action icon to place the Hexagonal Object in the pillar and ......

Crypt:

The bottom of the pillar then slides open ..... So go down and ...... Abigail lands in the underground Crypt. There are 6 niches in the wall. In 5 niches there is a chest and in the upper right niche there is also an urn and a Key. View the upper right niche ..... Abigail sees the key and she thinks it is the key of housekeeper Mrs. Ward ..... Take "possession" of the Key ....

Float back out of the crypt as the Key and go back to the front door of the house ....

The front door is now locked and also via the ventilation shaft Abigail can not go back in. So go up a screen .....

Abigail goes automatically further up,  a screen above the balcony, and then she goes through the opened window back into the house.

You can not go through the open door because that part is protected by yellow runes. A Ben Hur book is on the wooden chair. Remember this book but do not do anything with it yet. You can not go down the floor either because Abigail is now the Key and in possession, but fortunately there is a hole in the floor. So slip through the hole and then click the white arrow and ....... Abigail will automatically return to the lower hall, at the front door. Go back to the right, to the office and then to daddy's desk. Open the action menu again on the wall cupboard above the desk and then click the action icon again and ...

The key fits and the cabinet goes open. Open the action menu on the red book and then click the action icon again and .....

You have open the Malphas book and on the piece of paper, that is in the book,  you see the "Opposite Malphas Symbol / Sigil" that you were looking for at the request of Malphas. Browse the book to all subsequent pages via the white arrow. On each page you read about the symbols ..

All pages are stored separately in your Codex. By finding this book, and the Sigil you can now also fly through walls and the like that were closed for you by blue runes. If you click away from the book, Malphas will talk to you and you will see the journal icon as a sign that all this has been noted in the journal.

Go back to the front door and then up the stairs to the hall where you entered the house through the window.

So there is a book on the chair here ..... Read the book ... It is the "Ben Hur A Tale of the Christ" book by author Lewis Wallace ...

This "Ben Hur" book contains the 2nd hint of the "Paper Chase", so click with your action icon on the book and .....

You get to see 2 pages of the Ben Hur book ...... on the right hand page the word HORSES is circled red ....Write down or remember this word

You still can not go through the opened door, so go back 1 screen.  Abigail is then back in the 1st floor hallway. There are portraits on the wall. Continue to the right and through the door and further to the right, to the narrow cupboard and the cupboard where the statue of the Virgin Mary stood in. Go up a screen here and ......

Abigail ends up in the:

Billiard room

On the corner of the billiard table is a letter ..... use the eye icon on the letter to read Abigail's comments about it ......

Then use the action icon to read the letter and store it in the CODEX ......

By reading this letter the village of Oakmarsh is now available as a location where Abigail can go to ... the game tells you this now.

You can not leave the billiard room on the left side because that door is blocked by yellow runes and that is also the case with the ceiling. Go to the right. To the right of the display cabinet is a table and a 2-seater sofa. There are pictures of children on the wall and you can see the outline of a panel in the wall ..... You can not look at these 3 children's photos, but you can look at that panel.

When you click the panel with the action cursor, Abigail screams that she needs something to open this wall panel.  Go right and through the door. You end up in a smaller room. There is a chest of drawers and there is a portrait on the wall and 2 landscapes. Below the portrait you see another panel and a button box with 3 buttons 1, 2 and 3 ..... button 1 is now active ..... Click the action cursor on the panel to open it ......

In the box hangs a glass tube and it has a cylinder lock ....... it is a pneumatic tube system ..... Click with your action icon on the buttons and .......

Abigail then press button 2 in and ..... the cylinder lock goes up through the tube, to the 2nd floor ..... Go right and then  through the door to the

Statue gallery:

There are "beheaded" statues in the niches and on the small table is a screwdriver. Above the stairs you can go up but not above the statues and the table

Look at the screwdriver and then take possession of the thing ......Float back to the Billiard room as the screwdriver. Back in the billiard room you go to the wall panel. Click with the action icon and .....with the screwdriver Abigail opens up the panel and ...... Well ... you have discovered the wall safe ....

You can look at the lock of the safe, but you can not open the safe yet, because you do not know the digit combination yet. Right-click, above the table, to put the screwdriver on the table ......You may need the screwdriver later, so remember that it is now here on the table. Go back to the Statue gallery and go to the right end of the gallery .... You can not leave the gallery because of green runes, but there is a Forest painting hanging on the wall that is crooked and from which the "fumes" comes. Look at the Forest painting .....

There is a note on the forest painting, so click with the action-icon to read the note ........ it is a short letter from Anton ..... and ....

... The Eldwitch forest, behind the house, is now also available as a location where Abigail can go to.

Central Staircase and beyond:

Go back to the gallery and then go up the stairs ...... You enter a stairwell .... You can not go to the left and also not straight through the doors.

Abigail does not find the books on the table interesting, so go further up to the next stairwell hall. Again you can not go left and right through the doors, so go even further up ......

You can not go to the left because of red runes, but you can now go through the door on the right side .... The ceiling has purple runes.

Wait a second ..... there is an opened suitcase on the floor .....

View the suitcase ..... the suitcase is empty ..... click with the action icon to close the suitcase and ....... Behind the suitcase is a Photo ....

View the Photo ....it shows a cottage / farm ....... You can take this picture but do not do this now. Remember that you can find this photo here.

Go right and through the open door to the:

DOKA / Dark room.

So this is the DOKA where the photos were developed ...... On the table a book that fumes ........ view that book and then use the action icon and you read the "Eureka" note ...part of the text is red encircled and with red pen it is written "Need to study this with Mother" .....

Click the book away and ....... Abigail has some comment about going "In and Out a painting / photo" .....

You can also view the photos that hang on the wall here and on the drying rod. Next to the window is a narrow wooden cabinet that you can open, but Abigail finds nothing of interest in it. Continue to the right, to the bed .... There are 2 Photo's on the wall .... View the right Photo ..... Abigail sees a farm house  and ....The farm photo is not complete .... there is a fragment missing

The Photo then becomes a passage through which Abigail can go .....Do this for a moment, so fly through the photo and ......

Abigail ends up outside the Farm.

You can, if you want, take look inside the farm house, but not everything is now available. This Farm is the starting point of the Silver Labyrinth, but because you haven't repaired the Farm Photo. in the DOKA room of Blackwood Manor, , you can not do much here now. So we save this for later. The way back to the DOKA room is the Blackwood Manor photo on the easel, so dive back quickly through the photo to the DOKA room.

The Paper Chase:

Now we're going to finish the "Paper Chase" . You have already done the Ben Hur book ...... Go back to Daddy's Office ........ On top of the hanging cupboard, above the desk and that you have opened with the key from the crypt, there is a horse statue ..... Previously you could only view the horse but because you have solved the "Paper Chase" letter in the kitchen you can now take "possession of the horse "......

So open the action menu on the horse again and then click the "Possession icon" and.....

Abigail is then the horse statue .... slide the Horse away and., .... Where the Horse stood you now see a document lying on the hanging cabinet ......

Open the action menu on that document and then click the action icon and ........ it is a sketch of a nightcap ...

Remember what the nightcap looks like and then click away the sketch ..... it will be saved in your CODEX. Right click to get Abigail out of the horse.

Leave the office on the left side ..... You are back in the room with the sofa, the display cabinet and the hole in the wall ......

Left next to the display cabinet is a small painting on which you see an older man sees with beard and with a Nightcap on his head .....

Previously you could not view this painting but now you can,  because you have found the nightcap sketch ......

Open the action menu on the painting and then click the action icon and ........ you read the name John Falco, at the bottom right of the painting

Now go back to the room past the dining room, it is the......

Ravens room

This is the room with the mirror cabinet and the 3 ravens and the desk with the bare notebook and the code box, with the eagle / falcon on top.

Use the action icon again on that box. You will see the code lock again and there is still says DOTS  ......By clicking in the boxes you change the letters ......

Now put in JOHN, the first name of John Falco and ...

..... the box opens and you get a sketch ... the sketch shows a stone wall and the lower right stone is marked red ....

Click the sketch away ....... Abigail then screams that there must be a closed room next to the kitchen and that she wants to go there now

Go back to the dining room ....... Earlier you could not go through the stone floor by the fireplace in the dining room ......

because you found the sketch you can now go down through the thick stone floor, so go down and ....

Abigail arrived in the Sealed Room, under the dining room and right behind the kitchen.

Sealed Room:

A white sphere floats above the narrow column ....... Look at the white sphere and read what Abigail tells about it ......... This sphere is a POWERUP ...... If you take possession of de Sphere then Abigail absorbs the power of the sphere and thus she becomes more powerful ..... Do so ...... Take possession of the Power Sphere  and read what the game tells about the new powers of Abigail ...

Abigail can now see hidden things ... things that have been hidden by recent residents of the house, provided that Abigail has taken possession of an item from those residents.

On the left is the kitchen and up is the dining room. Go back up to the dining room and then left to the hall with the sloping staircase. At the chair and the 2 paintings the feather pen is still on the stand. View the pen..... The Pen is Mightier than the Sword, says Abigail ....... Take possession of the Quill

As the Quill, go up and ........ In the hallway, above the stairs, there is now a panel visible in the wall, that you could not see before. Stand on that panel and watch it with you eye icon ........

Then open the panel with the action icon and ...... Abigail finds her own lost treasure chest back ...

Open the treasure chest with the action icon and ....... You get the treasure chest in close-up up .... there is a knot of rope and dice, a candle and a pencil and a paper in the chest.... Click the paper and ....... The paper is not from Abigail ...On the paper a "Abigail" Sigil has been drawn ......

Click the paper it away and read what Abigail says about it ...... View the knot rope and read what Abigail has to say about it ..... Click the box again to close it. Leave the Feather Pen, so right-click to be Abigail again, or first descend  down and then put the pen back in the inkwell...... which does not work so the pen falls on the ground ...... it does not matter. Go through the dining room back to the

Ravens room

Open the action menu again on the empty notebook on the desk and then click the "Possession icon" to take possession of the notebook

As a notebook you float outside through the door on the right ..... You end up in the back garden behind the house and ..... In the stone pillar of the fence you now see a stone that is marked ......

Open the action menu on that stone of the pillar and then click the action icon and ......... You remove the stone and in the hole is one of the missing pages of the note book ...... Take the page with the action icon and read the page ..... Alexander writes that "She searched your room" and that he is waiting for you, together with Sally and Robert, at the edge of the forest "....

Click away the note. Go a screen to the right and ........ Abigail is now in Eldwitch Forest

You have done almost everything in the house that you can do for now ...... You have to make a choice now .....Will you go to the Eldwitch Forest first or are going to the village of Oakmarsh now...... I'm going to Oakmarsh first, but if you want to continue here in the forest, then I won't stop you.

Abigail is still the notebook ....... I do not know if it is useful to stay as a notebook, but I assume that this is not necessary now. But maybe it will be necessary later, so I now go back to the left and back into the house to put the notebook back on the desk in the "Raven room". So perhaps you should do this to......

When you have placed the Notebook back on the desk in the Raven Room then press your TAB-Key, to open up the Floor Map of the House

......... and then click, on the floor plan,  on the front yard / garden to end up there.......So you are back in front of the house .... Go to the left, to the grave of Abigail ....

You are back where you started the game, where Abigail "woke up" from her grave.

When you started Abigail did not want to go to the left, to Oakmarsh, but now she wants to. So go another screen to the left and......A signpost .......

Well ... the signpost points out that the village of Oakmarsh  is to the left, so float another screen to the left and ....... We end up in:
