Chapter 7: Mofang:
A: Hunrath
After you have watered the tree in Maray you used the underground passages to the roots of the Hunrath tree. You have gone up through the tunnel in the tree and here we continue.
Walk out of the tree tunnel and go to the door. Leave the tree area through the door and then walk around to the front
Go down to the center of the village via the stone staircase, or the wooden staircase between the 2 houses, and then run on to the dam doors in the river. The dam doors are closed and the left propeller is pulled down on the front. When you have the propellers completely horizontal now than you must pull the left propeller down. Then go to the door lever and pull it to the left and ..... the dam doors open again but now the metal path is on the other side of the river to make a passage over the left bank of the river.
Via the tunnel on the other side, you wil soon be able to follow the left bank of the river. You must now go back to Maray to reach the left bank of the river, but before you go back to Maray you first have to do something else here in Hunrath. The left bank wil take you to another tunnel, but that tunnel is still blocked. You have to remove that blockade first and you need the blue laser of the rail car to do this.
So turn around and walk back to the center of the village. You can visit C.W if you want but he really has nothing new to tell, so walk straight to the rail car.
You left the rail car behind before mine tunnel A, when you came back with the rail car after you destroyed the red laser in Kaptar.
If you have not changed the switches in the rail yet, you better do this first, before you go drive with the rail car again. You have to switch the switches so that you can drive to the Farley house with the rail cart. If you already did that then get in the rail car...........You drive backwards to the Farley house ...... and you go through the tunnel where you have already lasered the blockade with the laser of the rail car
Continue backwards to the end of the rail at the Farley house
Get out of the rail car and walk to the switch, before the Farley house, and pull the switch to the left rail. Step back in the rail car and then continue forward over the left rail ....
You drive up the hill and on top of the hill you drive into the short mine tunnel and you drive right through the transition wall ......
You are then on the rail that goes to the upper part of the junk site. Just before the gate of the junk site there's a switch, but if it is good then this switch is already in the right direction. Continue until you reach the gate of the junk site. If you're driving backwards then you do not have to go over the junk site. But as you can see I now drive forward, so I must do a complete circle over the junk site ,so that I come back through the gate with the blue laser up front
Just before the gate is the switch ....... You came from the right rail and you have to go on the left rail, but probably the switch is already okay, if not then you have to pull the switch into the right direction . Then drive on the left rail but stop when you have just passed the switch and get out
Walk over the track to the edge and look down .......You'll see the left bank of the river below you an you look at a mine tunnel that is blocked by a bunch of boulders.
You can destroy these boulders with the laser on the rail cart
Walk back to the rail cart and get back in again. Now drive the rail car further ahead, to the very edge.
Turn on the blue laser beam and destroy the boulders in the mine below you.
That mine entrance is free again and you have to get to it now, because it is your passage to Mofang. You must now return to the Hunrath Tree. You can drive back with the rail car or you leave it here because you do not need the rail car anymore. If you do not want to walk then drive the rail car backwards past the switch. Then get out and switch the switch to the right rail
Get back in the rail car and drive back, through the transition wall, to the Farley house via the right rail
Park the rail car at the Farley house and get out and then walk back to the center and go up again, via the stone staircase or the narrow wooden staircase, to the tree tunnel
Go back down the tree tunnel to the roots and...........
Through the stone arches you can cross over to the trees in the other areas, but now only the tunnel between Hunrath and Maray is active.
So cross through the "green" tunnel / gate again to the roots of the tree on Maray.
Back in Maray:
In Maray you go up via the stone staircase and the tree tunnel. You crawl out of the tree and then return to the forest pond.
Follow the short forest path back to Bridge 7 and cross over Bridge 7 to the other side.
You are back at the destroyed red cube and the half human / half Mofang corpse. Behind the body you see two lamps that illuminate the entrance of a cave
Walk into the cave and to the closed gate.
Here is another difference between the old version and the new version of the game. In the old version this gate is already open and you can immediately follow the path until you are at a Villein blob machine were you have to build a bridge again. In the new version the gate is closed and you need to open the gate by completing the connection in the Blob machine.
Anyway, if the gate is open then you follow the path further ....... Immediately after tghis gate you'll see, at the top right, a closed gate again, but the path continues to the left and down.
Follow the path to the next blob machine with which you have to build another bridge ..... Here the old and the new version come together again. .......
So make Bridge 8 with the universal combination and cross over the bridge to be back at the first gate you encountered on Maray.
Enter the path on the left, this is the same path as in the beginning because then you could not go straight because there was no bridge 8. Follow this path, you come back to the stone arch bridge from Hunrath.
Go over the stone arch and follow the path to the crossroads
When you was here the first time you went left, to destroy the red laser. Straight ahead wasn't possible because there was no bridge, now there is a bridge.
So follow the straight path and ....... you reach the first 2 bridges you made here in Maray.
Cross Bridge 1, into the Villein building, and then continue over Bridge 2 to the dome with 1 switch machine and a lot of junk from the junk site.
Walk through the dome to the other side and press the button to call the elevator. Go down with the elevator and go to the dome with the 3 switch machines.
Use the switch machined in the dome that is in the half rock and ........
You will enter the underground mine in Hunrath again.
Hunrath:
Cross over Bridge 6 and then follow tunnel B to the cave where you turned the domes of the maze and then enter tunnel A and follow it to the river
You are back at the dam doors but now on the left bank of the river. Walk across the grates to the other side of the dam doors and ......
........ follow the left river bank to the mine tunnel that you have
"unblocked" from the upper junk site with the laser of the rail cart
Go into the cave and walk to the end and then use the switch machine here and ........
You go to another planet ..... you arrive on:
Mofang:
The cave with the switch machine has been zapped with you. Walk out. Mofang is a desolated place. Go to the right, you can also go left but then you walk around.
You come to a path that goes up and a path that goes down ....... Take the up path until you can not go up any further.
in the distance you can see the MOFANG TREE but you can not get there yet.
Follow the path down and you will reach the Square ........
You can go left or right to the other side of this square. The path continues behind the square, so walk around the square and then follow the path. You reach another junction.
The left path goes up to the TREE, the right path goes up to a lookout point. First follow the right path up to the lookout and ..........
You get a good look at another world. Whether this is the world where you come from I do not know.
Turn around and go back down, turn right and now take the left path until you get to the tree.
At the bottom of the tree trunk you find the tunnel to the roots, so go down the tree tunnel and turn the tap lever over so that the water reaches the roots.
Then follow the hose, from the tap, to the Hunrath tunnel/arch and go through it to the Hunrath Boom
Back in Hunrath you go up and out again through the tree tunnel.
So ...... you have now brought 3 Trees back to life, the Hunrath Tree, The Maray Tree and the Mofang Tree. Remains the Kaptar Tree but we will do that in:
