You can buy Röki on Steam but also on  gog.com     I have version 1.07 and have had no problems with the game

NB: Tove has a lot to do and she has to do it in various areas. She will also have to go back and forth between the different areas here in the Deep Forest. As a player you now have a lot of freedom to do things. There is no set order in which to do things. My walkthrough tells you how I did it but this is not the only way you can do it all. You can do things in a different order if you want

Chapter 7: The Deep Forest: Part 6: The Poisoned Forest part 2:

A: Invisibility Mask (Ram Mask)

It's been a while  since you were in the poisoned forest, so here's a screenshot to refresh your memory

From the Waytree go to the cove and then descend the stairs in the cove to the lab of wizard Shroomi

In Shroomi's lab, throw the Ram Skull, Mommy Kroke's Beard Hair and the 2 Nattamare Parasites into Shroomi's cooking pot and ....

.... the invisible Shroomi goes to work and the invisibility mask appears. Take the mask.

The game tells you how to put on the mask

So press your Spacebar and your F1 key simultaneously to put on the mask. Tove is then transparent.

A conversation follows. However, Shroomi still doesn't show up. Shroomi says there are things that are hidden and that Tove cannot see. To be able to see those hidden things Tove needs the Mask of the All-Seeing and Shroomi writes down which items he needs for that. Keep the invisibility mask on and look at the new note on the wall.

B: Mask of All Seing (Owl Mask)

On the note, Shroomi has noted the items he needs for the All-Seeing Mask, which are: an Eye-Orb Fungus, a portion of Newt Spawn, an Owl Skull, and 3 Bluecap Toadstools (3 blue mushrooms). Leave the lab and walk through the middle pit to the poisoned pond and gate F. Go to the right of gate F into the corner of the pond and ....

... In this corner hangs the Eye-Orb Fungus. Take the Eye-Orb Fungus

Go to Gate B. Walk up to Gate B via the 3 mushrooms.

Because Tove is now invisible through the mask, the "eyes" do not see Tove and the ports A, B, F are not blocked by the stems. So go through Gate B

Gate B brings Tove into the northern part of the forest. Walk to the left. Halfway you will see a cave with stems in front of it. 

Chop the stems away with the dagger and ....

...... in the cave is the 1st of the 3 Bluecap Toadstools. Take the Bluecap Toadstool

Walk further to the left. In an inlet there is a round thing with holes. Go check out that round thing. It's a Lady's Veil and Tove hears a voice but sees no one.

At the top of the snow slope you will see another cave with stems. 

Walk up the slope and cut the stems out of the way with the dagger and then take the Owl Skull from the cave

Go back and out again via Gate B. Now go to gate F.

Because of the mask the stems do not appear in gate F so walk through the gate and Tove is in the eastern part of the forest.

Tove cannot go to the other side of the pond, but just in front of the pond is a small puddle with some white stuff floating in it. Look at that puddle. Tove says the white stuff floating in the puddle is the Newt Spawn she needs for the new mask. Scoop that Newt Spawn out of the puddle with the empty glass jar.

Above the puddle  you  see a number of small mushrooms. Walk up to those mushrooms.

The rear mushroom is a Bluecap mushroom. Take the Bluecap mushroom

Here Tove cannot go any further, so go back through F and then go to gate A. Go through Gate A and ....... In the back is the Stag. But here too everything is poisoned

Continue until Tove is almost at the Stag. Do not proceed to the Stag yet.

At the bottom right you see a few tiny mushrooms and the front mushroom is the 3rd Bluecap mushroom. Get the Bluecap mushroom 

Tove now has all the ingredients for the All Seing Mask, so go back to Shroomi's cave.

Throw the Eye-Orb Fungus, the Owl Skull, the 3 Bluecap mushrooms and Newt Spawn into the cooking pot and ...

Shroomi then conjures the All-Seeing Mask. Take the All-Seeing Mask and put it on right away via your Spacebar + F1 key

So you switch between the two masks by simultaneously pressing your Spacebar + F1 key.

When Tove wears the All-Seeing Mask she sees things that are otherwise hidden from her so now she sees that Shroomi

A conversation with Shroomi follows. Shroomi can brew something that can destroy the poisoning of this forest, but for that he needs 3 fresh Nattabloom fungi and Tove has to find them now. These 3 Nattabloom fungi can be found behind the gates B, C, F so you will have to switch between the two masks via your Spacebar + F1 key. You also earned another Badge

C: Get the 3 Nattabloom Fungi

Now keep the All-Seeing Mask (Owl Mask) on and leave Shroomi's cave. Walk to the corner where Gate C is above the large pond. Because Tove now wears the All-Seeing Mask, you now see a "staircase" that goes across the pond to gate C. So walk up the "stairs" to gate C. At gate C you have to change masks because otherwise Tove cannot pass through gate C because of the stems that reappear in gate C. So put on the other mask (Ram mask) and then walk through Gate C.

Tove is then back in the area behind Gate C. Immediately put on the Owl Mask again to see the invisible things here. You will then see a "bridge" over which you can go to the other side of the pond and you will see a number of small houses. Look at the first house with your eye and then walk over the "bridge".

Just before the 2nd house Tove sees a mushroom and she wants it.

Dig out the mushroom using your trowel.

Then walk further up and view all those little houses along the way. Walk upstairs to the edge and then listen to what Tove says.

In the left of the 3 trees Tove sees such a Nattabloom fungus but she cannot reach it

Go back down, over the "bridge" and to Gate C. At Gate C you change Masks again because otherwise you cannot go back through Gate C.

Back through Gate C and on the other side of C you put on the Owl Mask again because otherwise you cannot go down.

Go to and through Gate B again, so you have to change masks again.

In the area behind Gate B, put on the Owl Mask again to see the invisible things. When Tove was here earlier she heard a voice

Walk to the Lady's Veil and look at that round thing again with your eye and .......

..... now Tove sees that an Älva is trapped in the Lady's Veil

A conversation follows. De Alva says he needs his wand, but it's in his house. De Alva gives his house key to Tove and he adds that his house is near a tree. Leave this area again through Gate B. Back in the main area, put on the Owl Mask again and walk to Gate C. Climb up again to gate C, switch masks to go through Gate C. On the other side of gate C, put the Owl Mask back on. Go over the "bridge" again and continue to the house at the bottom of the slope.

Look at the house ..... Tove thinks this is the house of the Alva, so click with the Alva House key on the house and .....

.... Tove finds the magic wand of the Alva and she puts it away in her backpack. Go  back to and through B and on to that Lady's Veil where the Alva is trapped.

Use the Magic Wand on the Lady's Veil and see what happens

...... De Alva tells Tove to use the magic wand on the Lady's Veil and so does Tove

...... With the magic wand Tove makes the Lady's Veil bigger and this allows the Alva to escape. As a thank you, Tove can keep the magic wand

With the magic wand, Tove can make plants and the like bigger and smaller, which is very handy, as you will soon experience. Walk up the slope and then cross over the roof of the Lady's Veil to the other side and ...... In a tree Tove sees the 1st of the 3 Nattablooms she has to collect.

Funguses block Tove's passage, so swap the Owl Mask for the Ram Mask and Tove can continue. 6 mushrooms are in a circle, but we will come back here later. Continue walking and when Tove has reached the pond, put the Owl Mask back on. Tove then sees that he can climb up via a "staircase". So climb further up and .....

... The "stairs" then stop. However, use the Magic Wand on the floating piece of fungus to enlarge it and then walk over it to the Nattabloom

Use your dagger on the Nattabloom to chop a bit of it. Tove then has a piece of Nattabloom in her backpack, but she needs 2 more.

Go back to the ground. At the circle of mushrooms you have to change masks again because otherwise you cannot continue.

Then stand in the middle of the 6 mushrooms and ....

Put the owl mask back on and ...... You will see that the sand in the circle of mushrooms has turned white. 

Click with your gripping hand to clear the sand and then descend into the cave.

A mushroom grows in the cave. Use the magic wand on the mushroom to resize it then use the trowel to dig out the mushroom

Climb back up and switch masks again to be able to exit the mushroom circle to the left. Leave this area again through Gate C

Back in the main area, use the magic wand on the mushroom "stairs" under Gate B and then use the trowel to dig up the smaller mushrooms

Go through Gate F again. Put on the Owl Mask again and go over the "bridge" again. There is a house at the bottom of the slope and a mushroom grows just in front of that house

Use your trowel to dig out the mushroom. Tove now has 2 green mushrooms

Walk up the slope and then use the Magic wand on the small pieces of fungus to enlarge them and then walk over to the other side

Continue to the left and ..... Tove then sees the 2e Nattabloom but she cannot reach it. However, you can see a pile of purple soil in the ground. Check out that pile of soil

Plant the mushroom stairs in the pile of soil and then use your magic wand to make the stairs grow again.

Walk up via the mushrooms and then use your dagger on the Nattabloom to chop off a part of it 

Climb down, resize the mushrooms with your magic wand and then dig them up again with your trowel. 

Leave this area again via Gate F and go back to Gate B and plant the mushroom stairs back in the ground. Then enlarge the "stairs" again with your magic wand

NB: If you have followed the walkthrough step by step, Tove will now never have to go through Gate B again so you do not have to place the mushroom stairs back here. However, if you play in your own order and you still have to go through Gate B, you must place the mushroom stairs back if you still have to do the things behind Gate B

Tove has yet to find 1 Nattabloom and it is hanging in the area behind Gate C. To reach that Nattabloom, Tove needs the 3 green mushrooms, but you have dug up all 3 by now. Go through Gate C again. Do not go over the "bridge" yet, but walk up in to the corner at the Nattabloom tree.

Here in the corner are 3 piles of soil where you now have to plant the 3 green mushrooms and then use the magic wand on them to make them grow.

  You have a small green mushroom, a medium green mushroom and a large green mushroom.

Plant the small  mushroom in the right pile, the medium mushroom in the middle pile and the large mushroom in the left pile. 

Use the magic wand on the mushrooms to make them grow. 

When you have planted the 3 mushrooms and let them grow, you go over the "bridge" and then up the slope

Walk to the edge and walk up the front mushroom. 

Use your magic wand on the small fungi to make them bigger and then continue until Tove is on the highest mushroom

Then cut off a piece of the Nattabloom with the Dagger and ...

...... Tove now has the required 3 Nattabloom samples.

Make sure you come back to the underground lab of Shroomi and put the 3 Nattabloom chunks in the cooking pot and .....

....... Shroomi now brews an antidote and Tove gets that in her backpack automatically. 

Shroomi says that Tove cannot just use the antidote. Leave Shroomi and go through Gate A and now walk all the way to the Stag.

At the Stag is the horn here too, but it is completely covered by the poisonous fungus.

Combine the Dagger with the Anti-Poison in inventory to dip the point of the dagger in the poison

Then use the dagger on the mushroom in front of the horn and .........

........ the poisonous dagger cleans up all the poisonous fungus but ........ Tove now gets into :

D: The Vision of the Stag:

Tove is back in her parental home, but everything is different than usual. There is a doormat on the floor at the table.

Take the doormat. A sampling sticks up where the doormat was

Walk to the fridge and open the fridge. Take the bag of fertilizer from the refrigerator

Use the fertilizer on the sampling, where the doormat was

The sampling also needs water to grow so go outside and then walk left to Dad's car. To the left of the car is a watering can. Take the watering can

Walk to the well. Use the watering can on the well to fill the watering can with water

Back inside and then empty your watering can on the sampling and ........

...... the sampling grows into a huge tree. Climb up the tree and ....

The tree has 2 branches on the left and Tove ends up on the bottom floor of the tree

At the very top of the tree, Daddy Hendrik is tinkering with his car. Mommy Eva is knitting in her chair under Daddy. Tove is standing in front of a door, but the door isn't really there yet. Look at the door with your eye. On the left is a cupboard. Stand at the cupboard and then click with your gripping hand and ..... Tove takes a drawer handle from the cupboard

Walk to the left. Tove's diary is in a pile of dirt. Look at the diary with your eye and then take the padlock that locks the diary

Walk back to the door. In front of the door you can see the outline of a doormat and a key on the floor. 

Put your doormat in front of the door and then click on the doormat with your hand ....

... Tove slides the doormat aside and look ..... there is now a real key in front of the door. Take the key

... click the drawer handle in the door and then click the padlock on the door

... Put the key in the door and., ..... then go inside

......Young Tove is playing in the middle of the room. Walk to young Tove and look at her with your eye.

..... Tove is playing with a cone on which she has to place 4 rings ..... but those 4 rings aren't here. Check out the cone

So this is your job ... find the missing 4 rings and then place them here on the cone. You have to find a yellow, red, green and blue ring

Walk back to the door. At the door is Stoker's drinking bowl and it is full of water. Use your empty watering can on the drinking bowl to refill the watering can with water

Back out. On the right a tiny sapling sticks out of the tree. Use the watering can on that sampling and ...... The tree grows further and it now has also a right side. The tree now has 3 trunks where Tove can climb up, A, B, C. In trunk A mom is knitting and dad is busy with his car. Daddy tries to paint the children box between B and C and Tove is drawing in C and there is a cupboard above the drawing Tove.

Continue to C and climb via C all the way up to the cupboard

Click on the cupboard and ..... Tove breaks the door out of the cupboard and is shocked by the Eye that looks at her.

When the eye disappears, pick up the cupboard door from the floor.

Climb back down and then climb up again via B.

At the top you walk over the leaves to the left and ..... There is a gap in the leafs between B and A. 

Place the cupboard door here between the leaves and you can continue to A

... So walk on to A and then walk behind the crooked stem to Papa who is tinkering with his car

..... there is something wrong with the scene. Daddy pours white paint into the engine instead of oil. Under the hood is the yellow Ring, but Tove cannot take it now.

There's a paintbrush in Dad's toolbox. Take the paintbrush

Walk back to the other side of the stem and then climb down 1 floor via A. Mom is knitting on the left

Mom is knitting a nice blue scarf and that scarf is hanging on the right side of the branch. There is a screwdriver in the scarf

Take the screwdriver

..... the blue scarf continues to roll out. Climb back down through the scarf. Tove is then back at the door of the living room.

Go to the right again and then to Dad, who tries to paint the playpen between B and C with crayons

... the green Ring sticks to the toy that hangs above the box, but Tove cannot take this ring yet.

Dad doesn't have a brush, but a colored pencil in his hand. Give the paintbrush to Dad

....... The crayons are then on the floor. Get the crayons.

Daddy also needs the white paint pot.First go to C and climb 1 floor higher in C. You are at Tove, who would like to draw but she has no pencils. 

Instead of crayons, Tove has her mother's knitting needles in her hand. The red Ring is on the table.

Give the crayons to Tove. Ghost Tove then puts the knitting needles on the table.

Take the red ring and take the knitting needles

Climb back down and walk to A and climb back up via the blue scarf. Then walk to the left, to your knitting mom

Mum tries to knit with a spanner, but of course that doesn't work. The blue ring hangs on Momma's shoulder.

Give the knitting needles to mom. Then pick up the spanner from the ground and also take the blue ring

Climb back up via A and go to Dad at the car.

Place the screwdriver in the tool box

Give the spanner to dad and ......

..... then take the yellow ring from daddy's right hand and also take the paint pot

Climb all the way down via A or B and go back to Dad at the box.

put the paint pot on top of the 2 newspapers on the floor

..... now all the poison is gone. First look at the box with you and then you can take the green Ring. Take the green Ring

Back to Tove in the room. Zoom in on Tove

.... Place the 4 rings 1 by 1 on the cone in the large to small order, so blue, green, yellow, red and .....

....... then watch the scenes and .........

..... the vision is then over and a long conversation with the Stag follows

..... the 3 Guardians, Wolf, Bear and the Deer, now decide to join forces to zap Tove to Rörka's castle through the portal.

Tove then returns to the clearing in the forest

... Pending the appearance of the portal, we now switch to:

Hendrik:

Tove's house is completely burned down and Hendrik is under the rubble, but he is still alive.

You now have to click your grabbing hand a few times to let Hendrik crawl out from under the rubble.

When Hendrik has emerged you walk down a little and look at the sledge tracks in the snow and .....

... we then switch back to Tove in the clearing where gradually the portal begins to appear
