Chapter
6: Valsembor 4: Escape from the Clinic
A:
Youkol
Kamp
After
her underwater adventure Kate has landed again at the Youkol camp and the guard
has let her go past the barrier. Kate is standing in front of the guard's house,
where she was previously detained by that creepy detective. Tap on the door of
the guard house for a moment.
Kate
is not allowed inside because the interrogation of the Cantin is in progress, so
Kate is sent away. Then zoom in on the window and you see that the detective is
being questioned. Then continue and enter the big tent. Walk in the tent further
to the left until you reach the entrance with the skull above it. This is the
hut of the shaman, go inside and talk to the shaman
Shaman
and Kate have a long conversation and ......
....
then there is a video and you see how Kate and the Youkols storm through the
barrier
We
then get to see what is going on in the clinic ..... The one-eyed colonel took
over the clinic with his soldiers
The
Colonel threatens to use violence but Olga knows another way to deal with the
Youkols.
We
return to Kate who has arrived with the Youkols on board of the Krystal and has
a conversation with Captain Obo in the wheelhouse.
Obo
is a bit impatient and wonders where Kurk stays because he had to have been
brought to the Krystal by Steiner for a long time.
Moments
later Kate is on the deck. Walk to the bottom left, to the gangway / stairs and
Kate will meet Sarah.
Sarah
tells Kate that her grandfather, Steiner, is not yet back from the clinic and
also that there are soldiers in the clinic. Talk to Sarah and the Youkol shaman
will also get involved. Shaman then gives Kate a bottle with a drink and says
that Kate needs this in the clinic. Of course, Kate runs off the boat and she is
standing on the quay.
Follow
the route, from the Krystal, back to the Steiner store but do not enter. From
Steiner's store, follow the street to the left again, to the stone staircase. Do
not go directly up the stairs but go straight ahead on the left of the stairs
through the gate. Past the fence the street is a dead-end but there is a wooden
cart in the street. Make sure you get the zoom on the left wheel of the cart and
zoom in on the cart. The wheels of the cart are blocked with wooden wedges to
prevent the cart from rolling away. Take the wedge that sticks under the left
wheel and .......
Kate
automatically picks up 3 wedges and they end up in the inventory. Kate now has 2
large and 1 small wedge.
Then
walk back through the gate and go up the stairs now. At the top of the stairs,
Kate is back on the square where the cable car to the clinic is.
Walk
to the right and go down the stairs to the square in front of the town hall.
Move forward and .......
Kate is then approached by the mayor who tells that
soldiers have now taken over the city.
When
the mayor is finished you go back up the stairs and via the stairs back up to
the square where the cable car is.

How
to get into the Funicular office
Up
again, you move Kate diagonally across the square to the lower left corner and
then through the gate to the door of the office of the cable car.
Click
on the door handle but the door is locked, so Kate has to come up with something
else to get inside.
When
you are in the close-up of the door, look down so that you see the bottom of the
door.
Then
click on the white dot with the cursor. Kate then says that there is a crack
under the door. Then zoom in on the bottom of the door and you are in the
close-up of the crack under the door. Open the inventory. You then get 2 white
dots under the door. You see a white dot on the left and a white dot on the
right. Kate has 3 wooden wedges. She has a small wedge and 2 large wedges.
First
select the small wedge and click it on the right white dot under the door and
........ Kate slides the small wedge under the door.
Now
select a large wedge and place it under the door to the right of the small wedge
Now
take back the small wedgeandselect it again in your inventory and then click on
the white dot left at the bottom of the door. Slide the small wedge on the left
side under the door.
Select
the second large wedge in the inventory and click next to the small wedge.
Now
take back the small wedge and select it again in the inventory and then click on
the white dot on top of the the right big wedge and ........
Kate
pushes the small wedge on the big wedge on the right and the door is now lifted
out of its hinges and falls inwards ...........
So
step in and go to the left. Behind the cupboard you will find the power box,
zoom in on it and try to open the cupboard.
That
does not work because the door clamps. So select the knife in your inventory and
click with the knife on the power box.
Then
click on the knife and pull that knife down, the cabinet will pop open. Pull the
red handle down and ........

green lights come on, the panel at the window also lights up. Walk to that panel
and pull down the handle on the right side........
.......
a car comes down and stops in front of the window. Exit the office and walk to
the car, then get into the front of the car. Then click on the white dot to the
left of the big wheel and .....
Cut scene:
Kate then drives the wagon up to the clinic. In the meantime Olga tries to
hypnotize the poor Kurk in the clinic.
Kate
then comes to the top and leaves the car.
Free
Kurk from the clinic and return to the Krystal
Walk
through the gate to the clinic ........ On the lawn is a helicopter. Run to the
other side of the helicopter.
Go
up the stairs and walk to the box in the back, zoom in on the box.
You
have to push a number of things aside because you have to find a walkie-talkie.
Then take it out of the box.
Leave
the helicopter and walk past the nose of the device to the door of the clinic
and enter.
In
the hall and reception Kate sees that the colonel and his soldiers are present,
so Kate is hiding behind a pillar.
Kate
has to lure away the Colonel and his soldiers. Select the walkie-talkie and
click on the soldiers and say "The American woman is here".
Kate
pretends to be Olga and the Colonel and his soldiers leave.
Walk
past the reception to the other side of the hall and then go into the hallway
where the rooms of doctor Zamiatine and Olga are.
In
the corridor Kate is called by doctor Zamiatine and she runs into his room,
where Steiner is
Talk
via all the options with Zamiatine and with Steiner. When all conversations are
done, Kate enters the hall again. Enter Olga's office and walk to her desk
Kurk
is tied up and drugged in a chair, you can try to talk with Kurk, but that does
not make any sense.
Walk
first to the desk of Olga, when you get to the computer you grab a statue from
the desk.
Then
click on the papers that are there and you pick up a note. It is a note of that
idiotic doctor in the infirmary.
Olga
ripped a piece from it and there was just a code. Time for harder measures.
Then
go to the chair with Kurk. You still cannot talk to Kurk. Zoom in on Kurk and
zoom in on the left side of the chair
There is a clipboard on the chair and there is a paper clip on the papers. Take
the paper clip from the top of the paper.
Zoom
out and then click on the tip of the chin of Kurk, you turn to the back of the
chair.
Pull
open the hatch that you see there. Then select the paper clip and click on the
cables.
The
cables are now fixed and the pendulum in front of Kurk’s face stops. Zoom out
and zoom in on the syringe on the right side of Cork.
Then
click on the bottom of the syringe and pull it to the right and the liquid will
drain.
Then
close the bottom of the syringe again and open the top of the syringe and
.......
............
pour the drink from the shaman into the syringe and close the top again
Then
pull the wheel at the back of the chair down and ........ Kurk is now injected
with the shaman's drink.
Kurk
is awake, zoom out. Kurk is still stuck in the chair, the handcuffs have to come
off. Click on the tip at the right knee of Kurk,
You
zoom in on a cabinet on the chair. Pull open the cover. You do not have the
code, so there has to be used some violence ..... select the statue and use it
on the code lock.
Long
cut scene
Kate
hits the code box with the statue and Kurk is released and they leave the
office. In the hall Kate and Kurk are discovered by the soldiers.
Kate
and Kurk run into the car of the cable car and Kate sets the car in motion and
the car is moving down.
Olga
manages to slow down the wagon and even get it back up a bit, but Kate kicks on
the brakes and then .......
the
cable breaks off and the car crashes down the track against the office. Kate and
Kurk are, however, unharmed and go to the Krystal
When
Kate wants to go up the stairs she is called by Sarah and they say goodbye and
Kate gets a scarf from Sarah.
\
Kate
is on board and you see the ferry going on the lake. Obo takes a big sip of
alcohol, to Kate's displeasure.
Talk
to Obo but then the boat suddenly stops and the captain shouts that this is the
monster from the lake. But Kate looks outside and sees that the boat
is stuck in the ice.
Talk
to the captain again ....... Kate has to start the icebreakers in the engine
room, but she will do that in:
