Part One

Walk across the wooden jetty to the Story Tile Vase, there is a letter floating above. Click on the letter and read it. 

You hear Miki, the author of the letter and the lost soul you have to bring to Zeneth. You'll find 22 Miki Letters in this world. This one is Miki Letter 1.

Take the time to look around for a bit. You'll see that Hyaku Lake is a beautiful world. When you done walk on and go down the stairs ...... 

While you walk down the stairs you see 2 houses, we have named them as House 1 and House 2. 

At the bottom of the stairs you'll stand before House 1. Turn around to see House 2 ....... House 2 is smaller than House 1 and it's also standing on poles. Between House 1 and House 2 you'll see a little lake and in the lake is an island. You also see a large water wheel, and a waterfall. That water wheel is behind House 1.  On the island you also see a floating Miki letter. In the lake you see that there are 2 propellers floating in the water, but you cannot reach them to cross over to the island

Standing at the bottom of the big stairs turn around to the big stairs. To the left of the big stairs, you came down of, you see a shed on a little hill. Walk up the stairs to the shed. Then go further to the right of the shed and ...... Under the big staircase you'll see the 1st Hint sphere of this world

Jump down to the Hint sphere and read the message ........"Winter is here", it says.  

Turn around and walk back, through the bushes on the right side of the stairs. ...

When you again have arrived at the front of the big stairs, turn left again to House 1. Now go over the bridge to House 1.

In the right corner of the platform stands a light scale. Walk towards it and you'll see a transparent dog collar floating, so you have to find a collar and then put here in the scale. 

Turn around and enter the house.  In the right room you can pick up everything but you have nothing to do with it. So go into the left room and read Miki letter 2 and click it away again. 

On the outer wall of the room  you'll see 2 moon doors......You know that moon mean night in the Xing world, so you have to come back here when it is night. 

Go right through the doorway and immediately turn left and then walk outside. 

You're now behind House 1 and you see Miki letter 3, floating on the jetty.  Behind the Miki letter you see a "Day and Night disc", and you see the water wheel. Walk to the Miki letter and read it and then click it away again. Turn to the right and go down the stairs to the "Day and Night disc" and go stand on it. 

Day time turns to night time. Go back up the 2 stairs to the house and then go left to the water wheel. You'll see a floating letter Miki letter, to the right of the water wheel and you'll also see a blue push button. 

You have to go there now, but first we're going to collect a collar Turn around and enter the house again and go back into the room with the 2 moon doors in the outer wall. When you get closer those 2 moon doors opens and you see another Miki letter floating outside. 

So go there to read this Miki letter 4. Behind Miki letter 4 stands a chest. Go open up the chest and take the collar that's coming out of it. 

NB Louis: In the older verse of the game you could walk around the porch outside. In newer versions of the game this is not possible because the veranda is blocked by barrels. So you have to go through the house back to the front door and then outside

Carry the collar to the light scale, in front of the house on the platform and put the collar into the light beam of the scale and......On the island, across the water,  a disc will appear.....

First go down the stairs and read the Miki letter. Then back up to the blue push button, press the button and .......the water wheel will turn and the propellers are now rotating in the water. You have to go to the new "Winter disc" on the island, by hopping on one of the propellers. So,  back down the stairs and then go stand, under the blue push button, on the edge of this island. Make sure you'll stand directly opposite the now rotating propeller. ....... 

Wait until one of the two long blades of the rotating propeller is with you and then jump on the propeller blade. .... The spinning propeller turns you to the island, so jump to the island ....... 

Before you step onto the "Winter disc" turn left first........ across the lake you'll see the Runs sign floating in a cave, but there are flames protecting it .... you cannot go there yet. Now step on the "Winter disc" and ............ it will be WINTER ....... it is snowing now and the water is now frozen. On the other side you see a Hint sphere and a gorge .... in the gorge stands  a Pillar

Go read the Miki letter. The ice in the lake is thick enough to carry you're weight, so cross over the ice to the gorge. First you come to a Hint sphere, so read its message...."Time to break the ice", it says

Walk to the pillar, which is a bit further away ... The drawing on the pillar says that it is a Snow Pillar. Give pillar a push and ....... it slides over the ice. Then push the pillar to the right, then to the front again and finally to the right .... You can see that the column breaks through the ice of the frozen waterfall.

Turn to the floating Miki letter 7 and read it, then follow the Snow Pillar, through the frozen waterfall. On the other side there is another pillar, a moon pillar. In the ice you can see 2 marked tiles, a moon tile and a snow tile. .... If you look to the left you see the big door with the light scale in front of it

You need to push the snow pillar onto the snow tile and the moon pillar onto the moon tile. It's not that difficult. First push the snow tile, over the tile path, onto the snow tile and then push the moon tile onto the moon tile. Now the 2 pillars are on the marked tiles.

Turn around and get off the ice, walk back in the direction of house 1. Turn to the right and go up the stairs to the second house and go inside.

You ca not do much inside house 2. You can pick up things and drop it to break them, such as a teapot and a few jugs. I do not know if that has any use for the game, I have not been able to discover it. Go down the stairs again and turn to the right and walk under the stairs of house 2 .......go to the floating Hint sphere and read the message. 

Walk past the sphere to reach  a bridge. Cross the bridge and then follow the path to the right and then go to the end of the wooden jetty and look down 

You're standing above the snow pillar and the moon pillar. Jump onto the Snow Pillar and the Moon Pillar and then  to the chest on the other side.

Open the chest and pick up the first quarter piece of this world. Turn to the left and go down the ice slide. 

Walk to light scale and put the quarter piece in it. The door opens

You have one more thing to do here and that is to pick up the Rune sign, but that is not possible yet because the fire is still burning in the cave. 

You have to let it rain first, to put out the fire. Walk through the big door and walk to floating Miki letter 8.

Further on you see a "Rain disc", so go stand on it and it will rain. Now it rains, the fire in the cave will be out, so walk back through the big door, back to the snow - and the moon pillar

Go right, back through the frozen waterfall and then back to the island.  Cross over the island and walk the ice to the cave with the Rune sign. The fire is out, so grab the Rune sign

Make your way back to the big door and go through it again. Walk to the " Rain disc" but  let it rain for a while longer. Behind the "rain disc" is a lake. The lake is isn't frozen but there are ice blocks and a beam in the lake.

Walk up the wooden jetty and then jump via the ice blocks and the beam to the other side of this lake, notice the sun on the beam, so it's a sun beam. 

Follow the ice path , witch in fact  is a frozen river, up until you see a tree on the left near the edge. 

Past the tree you take a left on the bank and follow the path to the left (to the right is a waterfall but it is now frozen).

You'll reach a "Day and Night disc" and a bridge that lies over the frozen river ...... Go stand on the "Day and Night disc" and.... ..Daylight. 

Now  walk over the bridge to the push button. ...........

Press the button and the sun beam in the water rotate.

Walk back over the bridge and continue along the  : Day and Night disc" to the left. You will find a Hint sphere there, read the message

.....then continue until you cannot go any further. Jump down here and walk on the right side along the stairs, back to the "Rain disc"

You have been walking in the rain long enough now, so go on....... step onto the "Rain disc" to stop the rain. 

Because it's no longer raining, the water level in de lake drops and now you can see a push button on the right.

Now go over the wooden jetty, on the left of the "Rain disc". Do not stand on the "Winter disc" but jump to the ice blocks and the sun beam and to cross the lake

Then walk the shore the button and press it......You will see that shelves being laid on the suspension bridge.  

Jump back over the ice blocks and the beam and step on now step onto the "winter disc" to make it summer again

Walk to the stairs of the suspension bridge and go up the stairs ..... walk over the suspension bridge to the other side. 

Walk up the now defrosted river and then go left tom go back to the "Day and Night disc" at the little bridge 

Step on this "Day and Night disc" again to switch back to the night. Walk back to the river and then go left and through the now defrosted waterfall.

Follow the path to the big door, click on the hand on the door. That’s why you switch to night, in daytime you can't open this door

The door opens, so step through.......

First go to the left before you go up the stairs and press the button, there will now be shelves on the suspension bridge.

Walk over the wooden bridge to the floating Hint sphere, ​​read the message.

Walk back to the stairs and the go, in front of the stairs,  to the gorge, there you will find a rune sign. Grab the rune sign and go back to the stairs.  

Now go up the stairs and then take a left across the suspension bridge to the other side.......

Read Miki letter 9 and stand on the "Day and Night disc" to make it daytime again

Walk back over the suspension bridge and go left down the stairs to the next Miki letter 10   

Read Miki letter 10 and then continue under the red wooden arch, then descend the next stairs. 

On the right you see a round basin with water,.........in the water you see a reflection of an area. Jump in the basin with water and ........... you'll be transported to the next area........
